This one is truly kickass. very useful and you did a superb job on the UV map and picking the right texture. i like the caution tape, but there's no teamcolor D:!!

also it's not facing the default building angle
(yes i know a variety of building angles look good, but because there are SO many buildings facing the default direction and SO few facing different angles, it makes it look out of place if, a little awkward)

otherwise, seriously awesome job here.

Well, I was going to make the particles on the corners TC, but Magos can't do it. So heck. Anyway, it is a gold mine, so who needs one anyway? XD

About the angle, I made it like this because I will be releasing more with the same angle. : )

Well, actually, I got the idea from the upcoming game "Supreme Commander 2". I watched an interview with Chris Taylor, and it shows the new metal extractor. It looks somewhat like this. (But better than mine lol.)

I was thinking - what worker unit would best suit your model.
"hint" Unless someone upload a Clockwerk Goblin with work animations "hint" then I.. think that this XGM model would fit quite nicely.

Anyone got any else suggestions of good worker units to this model?

You watched that to? Nice, MECHA DOG THAT BREATHS FIRE lol. When I looked at this model the middile looked like a igloo not sure why...

I'm a cool person so I'm using it.
 
K guys, I will be able to fix this. But, it will require me to remove the "stand" anim, and rename the current "stand work" anim to "stand". Are you guys ok with that?

EDIT: Nvm. Turns out, I am going to have to fix some other things as well. It may take a while though. Just hold on for a little bit. : )

EDIT: QUICK FIX...anyway it is all good now. And shamanyouranus added team color which was very nice of him. So give him some rep too! :D

As for this model, its a 10. For sure.
I like how you've used the cage model for the build anim, and the filesize is very acceptable.

I am curious about this model also, it looks interesting.
 
i dunno if my map called Lost in the dark might have a metal mine for change and also please make a haunted metal mine there are enemies called heretics some of them keep track of you so watch out for the lurkers they track you and hunt you like some kind of animals!so be sure to stay in light not in blight;)
 
It's weird when I try to select a unit using this model ingame.

I can't click on it, that prevents any target spells to be cast upon it which sucks

I can select it if I make a group selection thingy, but not with a single click.
Since I wanted to use this as a gold mine I can't use it anymore, Since I can't get them to mine

Well, the maximum and minimum extents are set...so you should be able to click the very center.

EDIT: Just read anarchy's thing.

Archy, you are correct. lol I forgot because I added a new anim without the frames for it. So, I'll fix that asap. Thanks.

IT IS FIXED NOW. :D
