Just wanted to know your opinions on this game...my opinion: i like the game for the graphics, but the theme is too radical, many people are seen being killed in mosques and the Arabians are being showed as massive terrorists. I like to think vice versa would you like to have a game where you blow up a church with people praying in it?

Well, I played at a friends house for a few mins. The sniper levl with the guily suit looks awsome. Graphics are nice, CoD did a good job I think. I'm sure the germans are happy that they stoped bringing up old stuff.

Actually you are wrong... Played up to the level when you are in the warship yet? Well, you can't attack the church. In both WW if I remember correctly you get killed for destroying anything religous. There were "Tangos" as enemies, the game needed something new, otherwise it would just be another brits/yanks take germans again, 3 games with germans is enough.

Yeah, it's called Modern Combat for a reason. The world isn't fighting Nazi's anymore, they're fighting radical Islamic terrorists.

Like 1% of Muslims are extremist, but since Islam is such a massive religion, that 1% adds up, and they give the other 99 a bad name.

And anyway, your complaint is like me saying that I don't like Crysis because it attacks North Koreans. Give it a break.

And hey, at least they haven't got China in mind yet, look for COD5: More Modern Combat and I'll bet that'll be who they're fighting xD

No no no, no Star Wars, let that to the Lucas Games guys. CoD5 shall be a future combat map but with Cyborgs, Aliens, Humans and/or Other people.

And I think CoD4 is a great game, watched a bunch of gameplay vids of them. One was with the arab president who got executed strapped on a pole. :ugly:

i think they could of made it harder.. in my opinion great atmesphere, and game play but lacks in difficulty

I think they should add in the next release:
Able to shoot up Fences/Doors/Wooden walls.

Have you even played the game much or are you thinking about elsewhat?? Also, why the hell would you want to shoot up. There are fences, doors and wooden walls! Also, you can shoot up.

TBH, it's my favorite current game. I really love the modern theme because it's actually quite present and not in the past, giving you a better feel that you are in the game itself.

World War 1 was faught via trenches dude. One side dug in, the other side dug in, people ran across the field and killed eachother.

WW1 was absolutely nothing like WWII, and it would be a horrifyingly boring game that no one would like at all, which is WHY THERE HASN'T BEEN ONE MADE.

Umm, even in ww2 games, there is plenty of missions in trenches and charging through no man's land. A perfect example is omaha beach, which is featured in every ww2 game. The mass of soldier charging towards german bunkers with naval cannons firing at the back when being mowing by german machine guns fire. Furthermore, you probably remember how many missions running through trenches were in call of duty.

And the war was not entirely fought in trenches, there were also many raiding and covert missions, like in any other war.

And how could you say it would be boring, if you never played such a game? Don't be so ignorant. The game itself does not need to be completely realistic and to be honest, if they would make ww2 games also so realistic, they would be boring, too.

There is a clear argument why there are no games of such type. It is all because US played only a very small role in this war. Thats all.

Here is the link, where somebody described the situation very well http://www.investigations.4-lom.com/2007/05/25/cant-make-wwi-game/

Brad, I know you are canadian, but games are mainly produced in US, thus we know where does that lead. Nevertheless, even many europeans think that ww1 fps would be boring, but this is because they were told so and they never played any kind of that game. Sure, there are many who would not like it, but I am sure that there are a lot of people who would do.

This was because confused you with raginspeedhorn.

Still I prefer WW2 FPSs due to my hatred for modern weapons. Although Nosferatu: The wrath of Malachi (1912) and History Channel: Civil war (1861-1865) were both great games, but too short and lacking multiplayer.

However there are several exceptions, especially some sci-fi, like AvP, where all races require different approach when fighting with/against them.
