They get adsorbed or emitted, or for example, a high energy photon (gamma radiation) can split in to an electron and a positron (anti-electron), that means you get 2 out of 1. How do you determine the number when such things happen constantly.

I suppose they have loads of moderators, I've actually tampered with Wiki before, just to have fun, I changed the name of rocket arrows to RPGs, to see if anyone would catch it, and in 10 minutes it was reversed.
