Hmmm, talking about realism, I guess you should make some sort of "realistic mode" instead of "toilet need mode". You know, in case there will be some elements that will impact game a lot and some will like it and some won't, you'll be able to add it to realistic mode. It's kinda like a more hard game mode with more elements to care about.

Oh GOD I hated that camera! It worked in Silent Hill because you could never see what was around the next corner which added to the effect, but in this kind of map, versus hordes of enemies, it's certain death.

Any idea when the alpha will be done? i saw this thread about a month n a half ago and i thought it looked cool. I know someone said the alpha should be out soon but i was jw when.

Well, all models are finished and just need to be imported. Half the systems is still needed, so there is not too much work for you ApocalypseNow when it comes to erratta. Still needs some sample histories though :)

Had to import a whole new primal texture to support all the new doodads, but gues this makes the terrain a whole lot more varied and unique. Will also have to clean the map for unused textures and bugged models soon.

When that is all done, a version for terraining will be released to all who want to terrain in the map by order, each terrainier should hopefully not need more than a week. Because anything more will delay the map too much. After that I'll look it over, removing all terrain bugs that might have appeared and so forth.

After that, I'll fix the remaining systems, and an alpha will be ready.

Nice to hear about the terraining map... but how are you going to cordinate the whole thing so all those terrains could be combined? And will you provide some basic samples in the map already so that people could copy yout stile?

The map will be passed around to us terrainers, each given a week to work on it. The map is already partially terrained.

So I know this project has been going on for about 7 months and I know there is a lot of stuff and systems that are going into it, but I was wondering how far along the project is? Could you maybe give us an estimated percent on how much has been done?

Systems 50%, Terrain 50%, models 99%.

ohh,the terrain and buildings look so awesome,it's like the terrain from another game,not warcraft lol =)) still they look very awesome,can't wait to see how the terrain will look like when it's 100%...and esspecially how the map will be :D

Looks amazing guys, even if the terrain is 50% complete! I think I speak for everybody when I say that I can't wait for this to come out!

Looking good. How are units and items going?

Units is done, i can always add more zombie mutations archetypes, but I think 3 is okay for the moment. Thought of making simple system that add attachments to the zombies when they mutate, like claws and so forth.

I'll finish items when the terraineers hands back the map. Will as said previously give them the map soon, hopefully within this week.
