Question 1: What scares you in geometry, such as map layout?
Dark (duh) vast, lots of hidden areas, a single source of bright light, otherwise dim or black... Lots of places for spooks to hide in, closets, etc.

Question 2: What scares you in monsters?

shadows... or things that are hardly visible. cold, ethereal, etc..

Question 3: What scares you in lighting?

Think I answered that above accidentally.

Shines an area right in front of you, flickers... :)
Question 5: How often should you meet monster?
Often should you feel its prescence, but meet it directly? very little..
Question 6: Do you enjoy linear game play
No, multiple storylines/strategies FTW!
Question 7: As you go deeper inside the place you’re in (where the elevator leads you from the tech demo) should it get deeper and darker?
It should keep the same style.. but I guess darker is good.
Question 8: Should there be any corpses?
Yes.

Question 9: Should monsters have a chance to patrol a certain point?
No, they should just... appear....
Question 10: Whenever a map loads, should there be a chance for a monster to appear/not be there?
For a second, just maybe an image of it appears.

Question 11: Should this mod be centered on a storyline

What would make a horror game awesome is the possibility of a monster popping out of anywhere. Jumping down from the ceiling, bursting a hand out of the floor (hell, just let the entire body pop out and tackle you into oblivion), bursting out of ovens on fire, all that good stuff..
Also, sometimes what makes a person frightened is non emphasized surprises that make you wish you had no attention to detail. For example, near the beginning of fatal frame 2 (great horror game for the ps2), you walked through an entrance, and in the background showing a window to another room, there stood a little girl looking at you. another scenario was when i looked out the window and nothing was there. i was about to turn around when this pale faced little girl jumped into sight and then disappeared again.. yet another scenario that brought me close to fudging my pants was when i just walked down a huge ton of spiraling staircases and suddenly i heard this odd loud sound and this woman just fell down and almost hit me, then started charging at me..
