Weldorans Tournament S1

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
This is a cinematic wich is much like King_Klear's Tournament cinematics.
Four warriors fight for victory. Either one of them comes from a race, Antonidas - Human Mage, Arthas - Undead Death Knight, Cenirous - Night Elf Druid and Drek'Thar - Orc Far Seer.

Enjoy it!

I rate this resource by 2/5 and I suggest it for Pending since it's not interesting cinematic and I'm sure that it's not worth a download. It's just too short and too simple to earn better rating than 2/5. Didn't notice any mistakes after I watched once, so maximum rating of mine now is 2/5.

Cenirous? I think you meant Cenarius.
Anyway, cinematic wasn't that interesting, also it was short with unpredictable end, I was expecting something more and everything ended to quickly and suddenly.
You tried adding units' talk sounds to the conversations of units and when you added sounds not not every transmission, dialog seemed ugly and undone.
By the way, Cenarius is the second of the strongest creature in warcraft 3 gameplay. (I didn't meant original story) How could he lose by one blizzard wave of Archmage?
Also description at THW is lacking.

1) Description - The description at THW could be improve.
2) Terrain - The terrain outside the arena was badly done. It look like the entire arena was surrounded by tree of the same type, same size and same height. How did they enter the arena when the arena was surrounded by tree?
3) Camera - Very terrible job, it rotate soo quickly and the chosen angle doesn't give a specific view about it. Because of a rather bad work in the camera, I do not even catch a glimpse of the battle between Arthas and Drek'Thar.
4) Animation - Need improvement as well considering the only thing I see was a unit charge forward during the battle, die, goes to next round, charge, dies and then a interview and end of story.
5) Music - The music doesn't suit it. When a battle begin, it should change to a battle music.
6) Sound - It use blizzard unit voice, nothing much to say about it.
7) Special Effect - It use a ordinary special effect of unit.
8) Scripting/Triggering - I have to said you did it very bad, it lack a lot of basic cinematic setup. To top up with, the fade filter doesn't been set properly as well. The poorly develop trigger is also the main reason why the camera movement was badly done.
9) Replayability - The replayability is none, the cinematic was too quick and there is absolutely no humour in it. I do not even laugh when I watch this cinematic, try view King Klear tournament cinematic to know what makes this cinematic was missing.

Overall, this cinematic was a recreation of King Klear cinematic tournament but was badly done. If you view King Klear tournament, you would notice the interview begin before the tournament does.

Camera setup was badly done, Arthas vs Drek'Thar battle is almost unwatchable. The camera move too quick along with fade filter, I only manage to see Arthas charge forward and the next thing is he and the Drek'Thar is dead.

1/5 from me.

You should probably spend a little more time watching and polishing the cinematic to make sure cameras show what they ought to (which was not always the case).
You should also work on your fades - most of them were too slow and too soon, obscuring the "action".
There is a lot of minor things, such as that you didn't fix the day/night cycle, so during the interview dawn comes suddenly.

At the beginning, BBC has a very long (text-wise) transmission when introducing the contestants. Such long reading directs attention from the action on screen (even though there is none at the time, it's a problem). Try to keep dialogue brief and interesting at all times.

All in all not very impressive map, though I kinda liked the terrain. A little overgrown though.

I'll refrain from voting, since I'm still pleased that there are spin-off maps from my series (yes, there is at least one more Tournament map not made by me, which was actually much more pitiful than this one).

Don't get discouraged. Experiment with the WE some more, even if you won't publish the maps, the experience from making a bad map is invaluable.
