Water Planet

READ THIS BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD

There is a story behind this arctic water planet model.

When I first decided to create it, I figured it would just be a simple sphere. I was wrong. Instead, it is two simple spheres. One of which rotates around the other. (Clouds)

When I finished the actual model, I went on to particles. I did the atmosphere particle, and it screwed up. So, anarchianbedlam helped a bit to fix it. And then I did the death anim, star wars style.

And I did all of this, with in game textures. Smooth eh?

Anyway, enjoy.

UPDATE: Added a better pic. AND NO! THIS IS NOT PURPLE! Look at it in game.

it looks pretty good, but even an all water planet would have north/south poles of ice, also the death looks very good and fits it well, but i think you might need more particles shooting out from it, half of the planet's mass doesn't just dissapear, try using textures/flare.blp , it'll make it look more shiny and red hot, then fade away, like flaming chunks of the planet flying off into space and cooling down, and/or put in another duplicate particle but larger, so it looks like different size chunks of rock are shooting out from the exploding planet....

again, just some suggestions, otherwise, good job, a 4/5 from me
