What was that Stormreaver clan banner doing there?! And why isnt it used ingame?!

Thanks Brombie ^^
Well our themes will differ from the Blizzard ones in some ways...

Hehe, jeah, there are often such textures with hidden stuff never used, but extremly usefull ;)

I learned how to make cinematics in wc3 now i am a pro. XD

There are a lot of things involved there: cameras (which need to be placed adequately between triggers and transmissions so you would not have only one camera for a single conversation), triggers (hide units, hide buffs, effects and auras, show white blinking circle on the transmitting unit, enable-disable functions so that your cinematic won't start again or end for various reasons; you should have in mind that when one of your cinematic related units are far away from the scene, the cinematic should only start if they are near the scene because it would look stupid that one of your heroes would be in your base and one of your units triggers a cinematic in which your hero is involved on somewhat place on the map and after the end of the "movie" your hero would be in your base where he was before or in the place of the cinematic; of course you know how many variables may be needed to express triggers). That doesn't mean it's hard to do, it just takes a lot of time.

Mostly I was referring to in-game cinematic not to interludes which are easier to handle.

:fp:As for the music issues I opt for originality.

But what sort of stuff happens in this cutscene? Would I expect to see something of the sort in-game, or was it an idea?

The best thing to do for cinematics to prevent silly unit positions is pause the game, hide all units and create new units to be used as PH\dummies to be used in the cinematic.

Exactly, though you shouldn't have a unit (user's) triggering a cinematic in which your hero (cinematic dummy) acts far away on the map and then after the cutscene ends your hero (non-dummy) is where he was in the first place 2 miles away.

Blackrockorc, I think I can safely say that for all purposes, you are saying nothing useful. You're just soaking in all the disagreements that have been going on, and commenting on those. If you want to post here, maybe talk about the project itself.

And everyone who's just here to say it's dead (this excludes the people who actually have something to do with the project), if you care, just ask Al if it's dead or not. He'll give you a straight answer, I suppose And that won't be used to put up your post count either!

O snap. drama at the map making table. So would if i write how long before the models from the map are released as opposed to how long before it is officially dead, would it sound better?

What the f**k are you speaking about? :vw_unimpressed:
This project one maybe have a a little disavctive for a short period.

How about you guys do a sneak peek on a few maps, because it has been awhile since we seen any progress.

And that's exactly it
This thread has moved on second page. That never happened before. And just after Ajer here asked for sneak peek on progress maps.
And there is nothing. Because there is no progress.

Now flame me to death.

Nothing to flame you over because You're correct :). Although a member of the team might respond to you saying they made progress; changes height of doodad.
