HERO DESIGN BACKGROUND

Guy who came up with this hero contacted me for testmap. I said yes. Here it is. Enjoy pretty effects, quality coding (loljks, my vJass sucks and the map even bugs up because TimerUtils somewhere is malfunctioning because I think I'm somehow doing something wrong with timers) and impoted models everywhere.​

It's an imported model. The Serpent Ward missile with blue textures instead of the usual red ones. I attached it here.

Ah.I thought it isn't,but its a mystery how Vex used that kind of model in XE(barrage-type spell that has "dream" in its name) even though dummy.mdx was the only one imported.

Any suggestions on how to manage this thread? If I keep adding stuff, the OP will be quite high in memory to load. But I don't want to thumbnail each or provide just links. Maybe a still shot of each eyecandy which links to the gif?

i wanted to say "put in spoiler tags" but i didn't cause i think those gifs are pretty light

I've replaced most gifs with a still image, and clicking the image now takes you to the gif. This way, you can browse through and see which ones look appealing to you I might make some gifs on the OP, if they're that good.

Helios Collision, Chaos Singularity and Dark Portal

I do not think they are worthy of being placed here.

Helios Collision - Just barely missed out, I didn't like the stuttering of the enemy units at close range to the 'red ball thing'. The spinning effects were nice, but the explosion at the end was a bit uncreative. The parabolic knockbacks were a nice look though. Reminds me of one my of spells - Water Cyclone.

Chaos Singularity - A bit of effect spam. The lightnings look ugly too, I think. Needs a new texture rather than a chain lightning or whatever it is based upon. Also, the connected particles aren't the best of choice.

Dark Portal - Lightning wheel with spinning particles with undead dissipation effect spam. It's effect spam, which may look good sometimes, but I don't think it does here.

Split Earth

I like this. I may make a few minor changes though. It's quite appealing without too much clutter (although the ignite effect is a bit excessive). The fireworks type effect looks good.

it was made by [Mad]Lion in terrainboard, I do also like Void's terrain those guys who make such terrain are very inpisiring to actually make one

I uploaded the map with the lightning ray. It's just multiple lightning models next to each other to form a line.
