Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.

Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!
Mystic Storm and Frost Shard recoded.
From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!
Small changes to abilities, but not much. I plan to once again balance them in the coming minor versions. For example, I was thinking to completely remove Bleed, Brittle and Stagger. What do you think?

Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.

Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.

Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.
Fixed Code Puzzle.
Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.
Now Main Quest 3 can be completed right after watching The Bridge Cinematic at chapter 5.

"Phoenix Combo" skill damage IMBA.
In CH 5, this skill damage has reached (12x21800)+2363,No boss can withstand this damage.This does not display error, this is the real damage numerical!!
BUG or not?

now lv30.the damage has reached (12x37000)+3326.....

another bug!item "andenaj2" bug!when levelup only+25 maxhp and not +75 maxhp.
accidentally discovered.when Fradz level up,Maxhp increased by 45(Including str +1).

I can give the campaign to someone kind who's determined to fix bugs and improve the campaign. I've been writing last month a book and I'll still continue writing the book for two more months. I'm using almost all of my free time doing it so I don't have time for the campaign right now. Just send a private message to me and tell how you can help me. The idea is that you fix and improve the campaign. When you feel like you're finished send it back to me and I upload it to the database.

The book is linked to the campaign and share the same world and events. It is continuation of the campaign and same characters can be see in the book and in the campaign. I've been designing it almost a year now and writing process begun month ago.

Well I can't fix the "crash" if you don't tell me more. And about the crash bug I have no idea what's going on. I can't fix crash bugs if there's not enough information. Never crashed for me.

Always crashes for me a couple seconds after the demon boars spawn.
Might have something to do with the fire starting (corpses)?
That's all the information I can give you.

Do I have to beat this guy or will I just get some crappy item?

Also, Phodom's phoenix strike screws up the game at certain bosses. (because it can 1 shot any boss that I've come across)
Such as the Ch4 swamp main quest boss, and Ch5 Demon Lord.
This is because they are suppose to do something, but can't because they're dead.
I got the fire rune (to summon an Esper?) But I couldn't use it. Says I already learned Faegra (sp?) which I don't have that spell. It's from the Demon Lord.

Runes are used to reactivate the ability to summon Espers (Since they can only be used once per chapter) Fire Runes reactivates the ability to summon Faerga and Ice Runes reactivates the ability to summon the Ice Esper and there's also the lightning rune. You can summon Espers after you have defeated them and the spell is available in Spell Books(F2) on the 4th column --- Faerga can be unlocked by defeating him (his the Elite Boss in Ch 6) and he can only be unlocked before you do the Main Quest in CH 6. Ice Esper can be unlocked in CH 3 (Elite boss) and lastly, Lightning Esper(Nyrxz) can be unlocked in Ch 7 (Forgot where it is... just keep exploring the map.. His not hiding and can be easily found).

Note: You can only use the Rune after you used the Summon Esper ability.
Note: Go back to the lava cave in CH 6 to the massive summoning circle on the floor a Quest NPC will be there after you first enter the city.

I played it before and it is pure 5/5.
Huge campaign and too many controls.
Aeroblyctos was talking about some anti cheat engine however I was able to use cheats.

He had an anti-cheat engine? I thought he only prevented the basic wc3 cheats like 'Whosyourdaddy' 'Greedisgood' etc etc cheats.

Hello, I'm new and firstly I gotta say I really like this campaign.
Now the reason I registered on this site was to ask if it is even possible to beat Yurgimar on Hardcore when he takes you to his dimension. I mean he hits for around 5k and when he crits he does 15k, his spells deal a lot more and the fact he can't lose hp without finding a way to burn his mana (which is impossible because the only way I burn mana is with the passive from combat king and that barely does something) makes it impossible to kill him. The only problem I'm not having is dealing damage since Fradz can take down 1 million in under 30 secs.

Oh I forgat to ask, what does Yurgimar even give as a reward (to know what I'm missing).

Also I want to mention a few bugs (sorry if they have already been mentioned).

1st: As you can see below I lost Fradz and Galeoth's special spells. I don't know when it happened but I'm guessing it was on chapter 8 because I start chapter 9 without them.

2nd: On chapter 8 I lost an hour while exploring the map 5 times because my digspots were only 8/10. I even had to learn how to unprotect maps so I can open it and view it without fog of war (sorry about that to the creator) and i still found only 8 (well 9 if you count the blight under the lucky box that tells you it has nothing when you try to dig on top of the lucky box)

3rd: This one is interesting. I somehow managed to replace zyl orbs with magic orbs. As you can see below I have an Ultimate orb at the start of Chapter 9 and Zyl orb (1). This happened when I had Magic orb (8) on Galeoth and picked up Zyl orb (2) with him on Chapter 8 after the Death Knight's optional quest. By the way, thanks to this now I can't get Zyl orb to 6.

4th: This one is pretty minor but the "Huge power boost" that gives 3 dig power requires 200 str rather than the 150 it has on its tooltip.

I saw few more minor bugs but I forgat them.

One last thing, a suggestion actually. On the tooltips for the spells you may also write down the damage formula rather than just "Damage is based on ...". This can help people pick their spells better in the start and what to lvl up. I don't know anything about map making but I don't think that is too much to ask.

Not gonna play/continue until these are fixed. And include a "Short-loading-screen"-Version (which takes less time to load) of your campaign please! Can't effort wasting my time with that.

But overall a successfully funny entertaining campaign. Keep it up and dont let go!

gonna test the latest version,well done on the efforts you been through :) as for the bugs..well, it is a fairly old game ,and i doubt blizzard will patch it further, they messed it up a bit as it is :p
[10 years old at least, and still kicking here], and its admireble people still enjoy it :)

I was playing this and it was nice but in the moment I tried to sell an item from my stash, instead of putting it in my hero and selling it, I got disconnected for "using cheats" and the hours I spent on the last difficulty were lost...(i didn't write any cheats at all, i didn't even use the chat once) also there is a bug when i choose the elemental for the Phodom hero I don't have it in my skills( i can't lvl it )... and sometimes when i use Phodom's skills, instead of damaging the target i heal it(the stun/daze... etc. effects apply correctly).This bug happened on multiple targets, not only 1. The shadow golem, the Gnoll that captured the kid, the knight that spawns bottom right at the end of the mission and the monster in the field top middle. Before I even finish the first campaign i don't even want to play it anymore.. Please try to fix this bugs :/

PS: The healing instead of damaging happened in my second try at the game, the first time everything was fine.. though i didn't get far in the first attempt

Let me guess the healing lasts for like 20 secs in the the start of the battle, right? That is 1 of the bugs that I forgat to. I've noticed it happen with almost all mini bosses, bosses, elite bosses and epic bosses. They get healed from nearly every hit in the start of a battle for like 20 secs and with some bosses after a phase too (which can be really frustrating if he uses that phase often). I've seen the walkthroughs of 1 guy on Hardcore that was playing version 1.8 and he didn't have any of these problems and the only diffrence between us was the version, since on my 2nd game I picked the same spells like him.

You need to put it in the "Campaigns" folder not in the "Maps" folder, then when you enter the game go Single Player > Custom Campaigns and play :cool:

Hey all! Quick question: when I try to run he campaign, I click on any of the missions / chapter and then nothing happen, all I get is a blank screen. I've let the game try to load for a while and still nothing. Any idea what's going on and/or what I should do?

The campaign needs some time to load and thus the blank/black screen. It may take a very long awhile though.

Thanks for the quick response. I tried again and I've let it load for over 2 hours and still no dice :(. I'm crying like a lil baby right now because I want to try this campaign really really bad ;).

EDITED: Ok, I fixed my problem. I was running patch 1.21e and all I had to do is upgrade to 1.26a and now everything runs fine. Thanks!

in chapter six, the vampire lord seems to be bugged: whenever i use a spell to damage him, it heals him instead of damaging. Even if i dont use spells, he disappears, spawns some minions and then reappears with full hp

I don't know if that is a bug but I think the (mana,heath,restoration) scroll is unlimited. When the amount of scroll say ''0''. I still can use it :v. Feel like immortal:ogre_datass:

I know it's weird that I've never asked this before, but I am really curious about the song that is playing at the characters' skills selection screen. What song is it?

Finally, after all this time, I have the time to check this out throughoutly.


Edit: Potions just disappear when I pick them. Where could I see quantity of potions that I collected?

Edit 2: I am still checking the first chapter. I liked the new cinematics and new features that weren't present before. There are still a few little grammatical errors here and there though. And there are spelling differences too. For example, the warlock introduces themselves as "The Murauder Clan" but it's spelling "Marauder Clan" at dialog button. And it would be awesome if we could see our potions. It could be best if we could consume the Lucky Clover instead of holding it, because overall luck is only increased by one when you are holding it. It's not convenient. I wonder what's the use for evil eye. I guess it's the replacement for that coffee drink which decreased vitality rapidly before xD
Multiboard is still a bit buggy, should be fixed.
I see that markets sell free lives for honors like if they were selling water. I will miss good old shamans. I wish they were back :(
This is really the first time that I play while listening to soundtrack of this campaign. Dat naruto music after boss battle... xD
Also there's one more bug that I found, when you reach level 10 at first chapter, you are still able to gain experience, but after you finish the main boss battle, all additional experience will be lost and you are capped at level 10 as you planned. But, one with experience bonuses could maybe surpass level 10 before the main boss fight, and after that, I don't know what would happen. So it's troublesome.
After the epic boss battle, I noted that dialog options were to kill the archmage or not. But "Don't kill the archmage" option was colored red and kill the archmage option was colored yellow. I think the other way would suit better, someone could get confused in matter of seconds and would choose to kill archmage unwillingly :p Colors really matter.

Edit 3: Currently checking 2nd chapter. I am not sure if Fradz' Thunder skill was intended to damage himself as well or not, but it is not indicated so on skill description. And if it was intended, I am not sure if that would be a good idea, because Fradz is already as squishy as himself alone. (Edit: sorry I guess it was just a perk of Beach Crabs, they have some sort of OP damage reflection passive and just reflects everything back, be it physical or magical.)
And I am curious about the function of Illusory Double, it's a passive skill and I never seen it getting activated. Another bug maybe?
Sand scorpions in desert inflict poison when they hit, description on orb effects icon says that it's slow poison, but it makes the hero miss like hell instead, which is annoying. Tooltip should be edited.
I realized that heroes continue to gain experience even though their level is capped for the recent chapter. Actually this shouldn't have happened. Did you make the level caps for maps by triggers or something? Because there is an easy way.

If you press F1 and hover the cursor on a potion you should see the amount you have (the amount resets on every mission).

I like the idea about the Lucky Clovers since it is annoying to swap them everytime I am about to open a chest and about the evil eyes I think they are for some kind of an easter egg.

It is probably like this because of all the items that allow you to go over the level cap.

Thank you Aero for your efforts to introduce this incredible campaign to us... Just, please finish it lol! I've been waiting for the complete campaign for years now. P.S. The Alpha version was pretty good. You only had to complete it.

Hey Aero, this is a really good game, and if i say good, i mean REAL GOOD, i didn't find some bugs after all, one thing, maybe you should delete that "MAELSTROM" thingy.

Amazing work!

I have to say, this campaign is amazing. I don't know how I didn't discover it before. I don't think I've ever played a campaign that has had this much work in it. The story, the lore, the models, the items, the challenging boss fights, really great stuff.

I'm not sure if you're still updating, but I noticed a couple bugs from the latest version (1.9e ?):

-Fradz's illusion passive special ability does not work at all. I noticed it is listed as an "instant" ability when it should clearly be passive.

-Elemental stone / bear skin / ghost wolf claws, all those items that have charges increasing over time and then decrease when being used, do not work at all. Clicking on them activates the 10s cooldown, but no buff is granted and no charges are removed.

-Nature orb lists +250 magic damage but seemingly has no effect, at least according to the scoreboard.

-The 3rd omega challenge (healing golems) from chapter 3... only thing I needed to look up how to do and was still unable to complete. I don't know if it's bugged or what, but its pretty ridiculous.

These were the only major broken things I remembered through playing sofar. Once again though, amazing work.

edit: Is it normal to not have access to certain abilities in chapter 7? For some reason fradz doesn't have high strike and Galeoth is missing the healing fog as well as his mirror image ultimate.

Yeah that is one pretty annoying bug that I think forgat to mention in my earlier post. I've spent over an hour trying to do it exacly like in the video (which didn't work) and in a few diffrent ways (incase it got changed btw it didn't work too).

Yeah that happens to some abilities and the only thing that is diffrent in these abilities and the ones from the youtube Hardcore walkthrough is that these were added in 1.9. You will lose more abilities the further you go which will make it harder. If you want to replay the campaign try picking either the abilties from the walkthrough (like me and I can say that I replayed the campaign twice with them and didn't lose even 1) or you can pick your own but first go to the changelogs and check which abilties were added in 1.9.

Btw I wanted to ask how exacly do you unlock the interludes that are listed as submaps because in the game it says you can unlock them with the Game Points but even with over 3k from 2 Hardcore replays I didn't see any unlocked .Well the 2nd got to the 9th chapter but my laptop had troubles so I lost all of my progress but after chapter 8 I still didn't see any interludes.
