Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.
Fixed a lot of bugs you guys mentioned.

Chapter 9 is now available for playing.
Attack and Armor types remade; values are changed and Attack & Armor types are removed. I've made the campaign simpler, easier to learn and more effective this way.
Rebalanced the armor values of all enemy units in all chapters.
Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!

Vitality system upgraded in various ways and I've some plans to upgrade it even further in the future. One big note is that now max vitality will only increases when an item is in a character's inventory.
Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.
Chapter 4 Wisps are now easier to catch
Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.




New Steal System.
Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.
And a lot of bug fixes.




Fixed a starting bug from chapter 3. It should now work properly.

Now there are only two magical balls instead of three. Also now they give solid magic bonus instead of percent.
Removed Phodom's speciality that gives plus one Dig Power every 10th level.
Also changed Professions bonuses.
Some of the spell book spells are remade and balanced such as first Fire Spell.
Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.




Save & load combat kings and spell book spells are fixed.
Restore Panel fixed.
Fixed vitality system.
Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.
Fixed Code Puzzle.
Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.
Now Main Quest 3 can be completed right after watching The Bridge Cinematic at chapter 5.

Now Agility Stat will give critical dmg and evasion chance.

Increased Phodom's base movement speed from 250 to 275.
Spell book spells are cooldown are now changed. Here are the cooldowns from first to fourth 90/180/300/once per chapter.

Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.
Fixed Bronze Shovel bug and the dig power at multiboard.
Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.
Items Zwill Blade and Aerial Shoes are now made stronger




Chapter 3 is now open.
Fixed Combat Kings where they were always rested to level 1 after loading.
Fixed a difficulty settings in chapter 2 as they were too weak for the stronger difficulties. Now enemies are stronger as they should be(ATK: 0%/0%/10%/20%/30% & HP: 0%/0%/15%/45%/75%).
Changed Ground Zero's cooldown from 20 seconds to 15 seconds
Edited Aura Of Fire, now it also do damage per second.

Well the download took about 10 to 15 mins but i think it doesnt really matter if the game is really good! from the pictures and videos i will give it 4.5/5 and because it's a long and strategic campaign map. Keep up the good job Aeroblyctos. i would like to play more of your maps because of this :)

Yes, but it made some other bugs. However, now those bugs are fixed too.

Aero, can you please make a minor version that fix the save/load bugs (make your combat kings and spell disappear on loading or on the fight w Gaomdo ). This is a major bug.
Also, in chapter 8 when I killed the Healer the game doesn't recognize that and Im trapped in the barrier. Or when I killed all the mobs in Crystal Cave I still can't get the quest done. Looks like the coprse bug is still there.

I will check these bugs next. I wonder how I'm gonna fix that Gaomdo bug... Maybe... Hey now I know why this bugs... Because if you've used this ability... Nothing, gonna fix this tomorrow.

Can u try fixing that?

That's how it was mentioned to be... You must use potions / heal to use it... Still stupid?

The very first chapter.. I have no idea why it could be the fact that boxes cannt move? because i realize when i sell an item from phodom he will walk to the very corner of the shop in order to sell it (Everytime)

Found another bug? Chapter 5 When i was challenging the vampire in the BASEMENT there are 3 vampires now right? the vampire lord in the middle was just standing there maybe casting a spell? but nothing happen after 5 min he just stand there invulnerable.. (Killing both vampires at the same time)
Second try Killing one by one the quest is fine
Third Try killing the right one first and 3 sec later the left one, the vampire lord is stuck again

Oh yea another thing to point out.. selling items straight from boxes doesn't give u the gold it just dissappears

I still get the items: Magic Orb and Zyl Orb. Rebellion Leader is not invulnerable in Ch 6, Rebellion leader and residents 3 & 4 don't appear if I skip the cinematic for the quest to kill the 5 Kar'Gath Generals

Edit: Also, maybe a way to ping items on the floor when I drop them so I can use spacebar to locate them in case I forgot to put them in my storage boxes. I sometimes forget to pick them up and now I cannot complete Zocmo's set.

I also found that Phodom's Phoenix Combo ultimate is overpowered. Takes just 2 hits of phoenix combo to finish 2nd Main quest boss on chapter 6.

In Chapter 6 when i use fradz sixth box to take the unholy cloak the whole box dissappears and i lost all my items in it as well.. i think its just invisible but even to fradz haha

At this moment you have to just dig (no matter if this place is not for digging, but after the black screen the box would return).

I played CH 1 again and Fire Elemental Skill didn't appear. I also think that Phodom's new ultimate skill doesn't do much damage, sacrifices too much hp and kills Phodom before the Health Potions/Restoration Potions cooldowns are finished in CH 1

After updating version from 1.9d to 1.9i the difficulty is set to the easiest setting after I continued off from where I left off. Everything else is the loaded correctly though. Can this be fixed?

In chap 6, How to receive mission elite boss ? :(

Simple, Go back to the lava cave to the huge summoning circle, You'll need to have either 5k gold, 10 honor points and you need to gather 30 fire hearts. Note that this Elite Quest has to be done before you team with galeoth(Kill Xada) or else you won't be able to do it.

Oh and by the way, I found that Miraga's Staff's chance of 3% to gain intellect seems to feel like it is actually 0.01%. However, when I get Miraga's set, The chance of gaining intellect on attacks seems like 10%

Just reach the epic boss in chapter 9, How do u defeat yugrimar? i manage to defeat the two espers and him twice, but after the second esper he keep flying up and jumping down i can dodge quiet a few but i cant dodge forever i can hardly dmg him when he is flying up and down all the time. Tips anyone?

erm, does anyone got this bug? I just played chapter 2 and when i killed 2 temple guardians, the force field didn't went off and I can't fight the epic boss. I kill them before I kill the centaur boss. After I killed the centaurs, nothing happened either.

I found BUGS!
I am using TCO 1.9 version and playing in 2.nd chapter with Fradz.

- The lightning elemental (R) is supposed to be mightier with each level. I already skilled lightning elemental to level 3 but it's still the same as the first level lightning elemental! It's supposed to have 750 LP, dealing 76 damage and stuff, but it still has only 250 LP with 26 att.damage

- Is the Speedy boost (E) realy working? I dont see any buffs or attack damage increased.

And for life's sake the loading time is incredible LONG!!! Is there ANY way to reduce the loading time?! I ran out of patience!

So here's an important suggestion:

Since loading takes tea- or pee-time and elite/epic boss fight's are one of the most loading situations there should be a trigger, which will save all information about the hero by pressing "Yes i am ready" (including lifes), and if the hero dies --> the game is over, the hero will revive, its stats as well as boss stats will get reseted (if item is stolen it will be reseted too). This saves entire HOURS instead of wasting precious time!!! Because i personally cannot waste my free time since we all live only once...

This should yet apply only on boss fights. I realy hope this will be improvet.

I'm having some financial problems and just got two months to pay everything off or I'm homeless so I really don't have much time for TCO anymore. I might create few bug fix versions and I've decided just to finish chapter 10 main cinematic line and epilogue. Nothing more, really, unless you donate. My heart is now with the book that is linked to the campaign. I believe with that I can continue the story and that way earn some money to live and then continue this incredible story to the end(except this just the beginning, I got so much more).

can anyone help with my bug? In chapter 2 I killed the temple guardians both at the same time and nothing happened?

So there's no way to enter chapter 2 epic boss?

Played the latest (1.9i) version and encountered new bugs and a "glitch".

BUGS:
- Fradz Illusion passive ability (S) ain't workin' anymore!
- Since Chapter 4 (not sure where exactly but i believe it's after a boss fight) my life points (revive points) got screwed. The panel shows an integer like 29583492 but when i hover my cursor over it there shows in the tooltip bar -1/0. WTF?! Sorry no screenshot :( coming soon...
GLITCHES:
- Chapter 3 with Galeoth. I have beaten 2 Mini-Bosses out of 1?! Man i'm a pro :p or hacker? BOTH! (Check the screenshot i've uploaded)

Well done Aero. You fixed few bugs but you also screwed my favourite ability for Fradz. How that?

My heart is now with the book that is linked to the campaign.
Which book? Is it called TCO aswell?

BUG:
- Phodom's skill Summon Fire Elemental (R) is not showing up since first chapter, which means i cannot use it even with the hotkey!!! WTF i am playing much harder without that than easier in combination with Fradz Illusion bug i mentioned before!!!

Note, that meanwhile i am in chapter 5 and after some play time, that live points (revive points) bug got either self-fixed or just disappeared. How random. Check screenshot

Also fix some of the button positions. Galeoth has the Ice ball (W) ability in position of the R hotkey. The same with the Dimension shift (R), that is in W hotkey position. I have these both skills for Galeoth so i encountered this so called "thing to be done/fixed" which is confusing a bit.

EDIT: DAMN... cant get this uploaded yet!

This campaign is still so damn buggy, even after all these years...I'm not dissing Aero, but I think the engine is getting kinda old to expect it to run flawlessly. But then again: we can't rule out leaks and bad coding, right?

An example of what can ruin your experience of the game is CH7's "duo" arena. If I defeat the second wave of challengers (the green swordsmen who regenerate one another if close), the game stagnates and will just leave me there, stranded. A show-stopper if I ever saw one...

Such a pity...

Edit: Small note: this happens if you kill both of them at the same time, or in a 2-3 second window. Don't know if this matters...

There is some bug i found at chapter 1

First, when I going to ogre's cave, before the option to go inside appeared, I right-clicked a flower near the cave. Then after the button appears I chose not to go inside. After that I can't do anything except using the interface(quest, menu, log). But when I save the game there and load it, everything works fine again.

Second, I found a Magic orb when I killed an Adult Golem

True true, this campaign is still buggy after all these releases. No offense realy, but i have encountered ANOTHER bug in your always-bugged campaign. Remember Kar'gath right? The location nearby the purple key there is a bug with the hero boxes. I dont realy know how but one of them permanently disappears with all the items in it. First it was Phodoms third box, then after re-loading and re-playing phodoms fourth box, then fradz third box... well they just get kinda killed or removed. I can say, that i was swapping items from box to box and then select another box and the one box, from whom i was dropping items just disappeared. <--- I believe this is how it happened.

Try making these boxes invisible and recheck the combat-triggers, so the condition say's "Triggering unit NOT EQUAL TO (Hero name) (Box #)"! Oh yes: Version 1.9i still it is.

Impossible boss in Chapter 2. The Noc guy. Elite boss.
Sometimes his lightning balls are invisible, and that makes it very difficult to dodge...

Hope someone mentioned this earlier (or better yet you actually tested it...)
cause I have a feeling I'll be waiting for a while to beat this guy.

-sigh- I guess I'll just skip that guy.
Hopefully it's fixed by the time I start Hardcore mode, but there will probably be some other issue... there seems to have been lots of bug fixing.

Also, I got some sort of gem item from a stronger than average golem (the very last one) located on the other golem path that isn't part of the golem quest. It said to tell you if it was found. After a minute or so it changed into a regular item.

Also, I read that you need to slay all the ogres to save everyone. I didn't see anyone else, so I didn't bother with them. Do we free them from their stomach or something? Whatever your reason for this... please change it.

Aside from all that negativity, I really like this game. It's the best single player campaign I have ever played on TFT. The other ones have stupid parts and ya need to save every couple minutes. This one is a bit better for that. Except the load takes forever...

This game crashes every time I fight Scorpion King Ch.2 And crashed once when I cast a spell
on ch. 2 I think it was summon lightning element.

I am playing 1.9i

Keep your game up-to-date to the latest version of TFT. It's the 1.26.0... If this is not the case try reinstalling it + update BUT keep your save files.

I just beat Slurgal (ch 4) and I couldn't proceed. Stuck in the boss fight.
I used Phodom's OP hammer slap attack.
Guess I'll start over from Ch.3

In ch6 Illusion Army got removed then High Strike in ch7 and now in ch8 I lost Phoenix Combo !?!!

A reminder of my early posts, that i didnt get the fire elemental in the first place and the illusion ability for fradz not working at all. 1.9i
