Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.

Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".

Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.

After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.

What are u mean? Are u sure? I told u that have all artifacts in my inventory, and cant create the item? u can?

Now i understand.Set is create when items is in Fradz inventory, but when are in Phodom the recipe didnt work.

here is the bugs i encountered
at ch.1 bronze shovels didn't work and it did not add a 1 dig power (same at ch.2),also, there's already 50 strength 1 dig power at the profession (at dig list i think) and when my strength reaches 50 strength already, my dig power is 0.
when i click combat magazines at the combat shop, the combat magazine item didn't show at my inventory and there's a vacant and there's also nothing at my combat king list and it wasted my honor points (except the starting combat magazines items and monster that drops a combat magazine).

ps. i have bad english, maybe there is a wrong grammar actually

I can't play the campaing. The background of the level selection menu is black (you can only see the letters), and when I try to play the prologue or the first chapter, the games loads a little bit and then it freezes.
I have the version 1.26.0.6401 and in spanish, and I have already played some other custom campaigns. Any idea of how to solve this?

Hello Aero,

stealing from the shadow lord and the necromancer is not possible in chapter 7. It should - my Fradz is level 60 and has thief set. What is wrong?

I hope the shovel bug really is fixed now.. i have just started this campaign again (and yeah, its great!) but you hardly wanna play with bugs. I went on a bit but figured out some more bugs in chap 1.

I can't do the quest where you have to free those villagers in the ogre dungeon. I simply can't free them. I remember a version where u just had to go right next to them and they were like "woho thanks" and gone. But no matter what i try, they just wont leave now. Is there some special trick to this or is it simply bugged?

I have challenged the warlock boss, i have stolen his weird scepter that gives you 150 magic damage, some int and mana regen and instantly put it on but... suddenly i had no manaregen at all! Unluckily i got a fatal right after so i couldnt test wether this was caused simply by that item or something else.

Where we get to the next point, when i get killed by that bosses spell (the one that is like beastmaster wc3 spell, just with fireexplosion instead of dinos) i get a fatal error.

I just encountered it too. This bug was already told to aero, but hes just an human and he forgotten this bug right? :D

Edit:... bugs... they never stop coming. and fatal error bugs are the worst. As the guy above said, he had fatal errors from the epic boss. I had fatal erros from elite boss while I had to revive thanks to heavens bless. That spell never stops to make problems, I guess? ^^

Oh also forgot to mention: in chap1 you can get a skillglyph by digging which "adds an extra skillpoints to your hero when used". Well, it actually adds a skillpoint when you pick it up! Which means you can just pick it up (1 skill point), put it on the ground and pick it up again and voila, you got 2 skillpoints. You can just endlessly repeat that. I guess its not supposed to be like that :)

When I find incredibly awesome is that fact that the Ogre mission in the very beginning is impossible to complete. You kill every single Ogre, maybe even open that treasure box, talk to every single person on the damn map, but nothing happens. Way to go team! (Y)

Loaded and tried this new version. The combat kings are still not working I loose all of them when getting to the next chapter and I can't buy them either.

I have however not started a completely new game but loaded from give up of version 1.6 so maybe that problem is on my end.

Somehow I was able to get the digit of the number counter for one of the flowers get which now allows me to use as much of them as I want.

In chap 4 none of the bosses has an inventory causing the items your supposed to steal just lying on the ground.

Replaying, I will write here as I come along with something. I won't only write bugs but I will also write some suggestions and the things that you should change:

The things that you should change:

-Game panel icon (at top left side) looks confusing. I think the marksmanship icon for the game panel is making it a bit confusing (like was that the game panel or was it the other one *checking the icon* etc.) It's looking like it's kind of a hero spell/skill panel or something.

-Some bonus starter choices are really weak compared to others. For example, galeoth had %20 slowing aura item and it was nothing special. It might have been a good item if it was a charged item like others (but ofcourse max should be higher than %20) and I believe fradz had some item like this too.

-You should change the text when hero gains a new alchemy recipe, for example, when phodom finishes quest of nathalie at first chapter, she gives potion of agility recipe, but you don't have the item or anything and just the potion of agility is unlocked, lol. You should change the text as "Alchemy: potion of agility is learned" or something like that. It looks more neat, it doesn't confuse new players :D

-Also you should have put the move boxes command to hero command panel as well. It still wouldn't be so crowded.

-You really should add each chapters repetitive quests which gives player gold though, in first chapter, I just bought potion of intelligence recipe, bronze shovel and a few triangle flasks (not counting bananas I bought to survive) and now I'm broke in the end xPP I cannot finish the main quest because I don't have 250 gold lol. Maybe you should add a repetitive quest which functions providing that player has under 250 gold, and the quest turns off when player finishes first main quest of 1st chapter.


The new things that are cool (compliment, lol):

-The new settings chapter and new bonus/starters choices are really cool. But you should have also put there the older choices as well.


Bugs:

-Well, combat kings really look not working. I don't like the idea of force blow skill though. Storing up all the damages and delivering it on one final blow seems bad and dangerous idea. So when hero stores a damage, do hero damage the enemy on a single hit anyway or doesn't he damage and "store the damage" literally?

-Oh, and I'm not sure if this counts as bug but gnoll huts have no collision. It might be the same with other civil/neutral hostile structures as well.

-Hero can't get through there so we cannot take that flower. (luckily I got that flower by vacuuming at close by the buildings)

-It's true that ogre quest at 1st chapter is buggy! You cannot rescue the hostages, they don't say anything and nothing happens either if you click on them or come close to them, and quest cannot be completed (I killed all the ogres including boss)

-Miraga's Armor give +4 intellect instead of +4 strength as it says in description (chapter 1)


Questions/Important Notes:

-I'm not sure if +20 armor is as good as +100/+150 damage power hammer of phodom? I know that phodom is an excellent tank character so I chose the defensive set, but I am not sure if +20 armor is really good against some powerful enemies like bosses and stuff.

-I'm not sure if the new alchemist system is better. But players should get used to this. At least it doesn't fill box slot. (Edit: I changed my mind, new alchemy system is EXCELLENT. It's all so easier and don't fill boxes)

-What is glass of sludge use for? Will you create a quest that includes usage of some quantity of glasses of sludge in the future? xP

-What must we do to make marauder clan's master agree about player duelling archmage?

-I'm really becoming more pro each time I play this again! xPP I slayed chapter 1 elite boss murloc only using 3 small hp pots lol. I could have slay him even without using them though. You should really add floating text when bosses enter heat mode though. Also I managed to dig out every item in chapter. But I couldn't combine the set items because I am out of money, lol.

-You should add a move crates button for heroes' command panel as well. It's easier that way. And it doesn't make panel complicated.

-Epic boss gives player a miraga item as reward, right?


Well, this was just for episode 1, I hope I can do episode 2 too now, lol

Activate the obelisks in the right order to open a portal to another part.

After more playing i think the combat kings are there you just don't see them in the menu. A short moment before a cinematic started the control panel changes to another one which shows the combat Kings. That aside I'm still not able to buy combat kings from the shop.

I know that chater 1 shop sells one of the parts of miraga set, and other one is found by doing something (I guess it's found by digging some spot, if I'm right) , so where is the 3rd part? Was it gained by completing the ogre quest? Because I can't remember since I cannot finish that quest right now, lol. Edit: sorry I was mistaken, I was talking about maracath set. I know the places of all the miraga items but I have only 1 maracath item by now. One of other maracath item is sold at market, so where is the last one? lol

The description is wrong.

Therefore, it needs to be fixed! :d

Stealing not working in chapter 5... animal set cannot be made.

yea, golem is invul to magic damage and some other creatures as i see.And stealing from him is not possible unfotunatelly.I suppose this is bug or Aero is forget stealing when he make this...

There are still tons of bugs in chapter 1, as others said. For instance, the ogre dungeon quest's bug(hostages cant be freed).. I wish to restart playing this campaign but with these bugs in chapter 1 i cant play it :( When i buy combat kings i dont get it in my inventory...

So, you remove this magic staffs and in ch 6,forgotten one quest requiere magic staff and now is not possible to complited...and the Life stealer recipe didnt work

Is it the elite boss or heaven's bless that does the bug? Did it crash elsewhere?

You need more than Thief Set at this point of campaign. What's your steal chance? If I remember right you should have over 200%.

He does normal damage and every Xth attack it does that extra damage.

Oh, ok better then.. I thought that hero wouldn't deal damage on a single hit with that combat king. You should change the skill name & description though. It may confuse others as well xP

I'm sure I would! XP maybe you should make an optional quest which involves poisoning somebody via making him drink those, lol.

maybe all those bugs occured because you made a change on heroes' abilities as well as other changes. So parts of the triggers which involves with hero event/condition stuff leaked. That's the most reasonable explanation came to my mind, lol, but I don't have much idea of course so it may not be like this xP

And a question; why did you changed fradz' model to this current one? I think alpha campaign version of fradz model was way cooler. This includes galeoth too.

Yea stealing work before, but now there is some creatures that is invul to magic(when u try to steal there is a message - u must click organic unit for this action or something like that) so do not possible to obtain animal set.Also i want to ask u where is Staff of Tranquility? In previous version i have this item in Ch5 but cant remember where is the place where i get it...now finish ch5 and have no this item....

Told u about Life stealer recipe, did not work correct in Ch 6.I have all items in my inventory and nothing...

In forgotten ones quest, one of required items is Magic staff, but u remove Chromatig and items who are parts of this???Magic Staff, Great magic staff, necromancer and one more.Now there are new type staffs new item when combinded.So how can i completed the quest when i cant get the item with who i have to destroy forgotten ones?

In Ch 7, i try to complete Medicine quest i have Nio, Potion of life and Elixir in my inventory but when comes to Alchemist, nothing is happen...

Also want to ask, what is this"+ 1 alchemist level any 3 flowers" in the same alchemist menu? I try to bring to him full inventory of flowers and push this buton to see what is happen but it appears message u do not have required flowers or something like that....Other items are ok.
Also Master instructions to dig do not appear when i talk with kaddamn

I can't tell for sure, but that's how it looked to me. As i mentioned i got a crit right after and then didnt try again - i removed my saves and can't reload now.

I have mentioned in the sentence right next, i got a crash when i died to those that 1 spell of the warlock boss, the one that is like wc3 beastmaster ulti.

Please also note that the glyph of skill is bugged, i have posted that too.

at least better than marksmanship xP it could be better than this though. A dial icon came to my mind as the most suitable icon for this.

Oh, ok better then.. I thought that hero wouldn't deal damage on a single hit with that combat king. You should change the skill name & description though. It may confuse others as well xP

And a question; why did you changed fradz' model to this current one? I think alpha campaign version of fradz model was way cooler. This includes galeoth too.

Any 3 flowers should give +alchemist level.

the life stone recipe doesn't need a legendary murloc head, and i have even 2 lifestones without using legendary murloc head.
how does the critical damage works??does it needs force blow? or something?

Critical damage works like this: you have 10% chance to do it and you can increase the % damage done compared to basic damage.

If it's "100%" then you deal double damage and the chance is 10%.



Where do you even get a Nature Shield?

In previous version i obtain this item in Ch 6.Now i am asking u the recipe work correct with this windy staff or not?

Recipe Nature Shield require:Acient Leaf, STAFF OF TRANQUILLITY, Plate Shield, and Crystal. Now Staff is gone, but the recipe is the same.I want to know, can i create the item Nature shield with new item Windy staff, when its writen that the recipe require Staff of Tranquillity.So simple question, a?
