Undead paladin is not a good choice, because it conflicts the rules.

.. imagine how easy it would be to host contests if people actually read the rules.

A normal, WC3 Blood Elf would be fine, but a so-called "Wretched" is not part of the unit roster of the Human faction in WC3.

Ah, right you are, indeed.

EDIT: I'd like to announce with this post that I won't be available for the coming three weeks and as such won't be able to tell people whether or not their ideas are acceptable. I hope those of you who have understood the rules help out to make sure nobody ends up with an unacceptable entry. Furthermore, as I'm not satisfied with my work on the MK so far, I won't be able to complete my entry for the contest unless summer plans change. For those interested, I'll probably be completing it anyway, just not for the contest.

Yeah, I read the first sentence and the rest was tl;dr
It wouldn't be a good choice anyway because it's extremely unoriginal :xxd:

I'll do something else, I was going to drop that idea anyway haha.

I'd say 3, definately not 1 anyway.

My current 'shield' design:

Looks amazing! I love the idea. I wonder, what is it riding on?

And another WiP, not sure about the changes yet though....

Very nice, but you should change the black on those 'samurai leg plates' into teamcolor, and the flag looks rather strange.

Aight. Time for another WIP:

I'm not really sure which one I want to go for, though it's probably either nr. 2 or 3.

Number 2. It looks awesome, and provides a bit of color variation(both brown and gray\white).

I've decided to change my concept entirely, and've gone with a ritualistic Blademaster. Though I did prefer his earlier Fel Orc skin, I wasn't sure if it'd fit or not. Anyway, I'm still working out what I should work on.

Just a note, the editor I used to preview the skin doesn't work well with planes, so TC glows might warp a little.

I was more or less going for a large warbelt on his chest, but I'll be redoing most of the body, it's pretty well one big placeholder.

However, I've done a little bit of work, but I might scrap the "Warrior" approach, turn his skull necklace into a fluffy, kingly collar and redesign his suit, like some kind of jewel-encrusted clan Chieftain. But totally still a blademaster. With lots of gold.

Just pointing something out here, Nerubians doesn't have to be "undead" to
be honest... And it would make sense if we could convert them into Silithid,
Arachnathid, Aqir and Qiraji (which are “close relatives” to the Nerubian).
But of course, they do not really appear in the Warcraft 3 storyline,
so maybe we shouldn't allow them anyway.

WoW Wiki said:
Thousands of years later when the Lich King extended his
influence over Northrend, the shadowy empire stood against his power. The
ancient subterranean kingdom of Azjol-Nerub sent their elite warrior-guard to
attack Icecrown and end the Lich King's mad bid for dominance. Much to his
frustration, Ner'zhul found that the evil nerubians were immune not only to
the undead plague, but to his telepathic domination as well.

Yeah, but the Crypt Lord belongs to the Undead race, and according to the RULES it has to remain undead. The mountain king is a dwarf, but that doesn't mean I can make him a fel dwarf. That would still be a dwarf but it wouldn't fit into the human race.

What he said. The Crypt Lord can be turned into a skeleton, a zombie, heck, even a demon (due to demons apparently being part of the undead race in WC3), but nothing that exceeds the boundaries of the undead race.
