Final Update

Here's the final terrain, remove glass as it looks ugly and makes the main focus of the terrain hard to see. Added some flowers and few rocks.

Btw... I dont really know much about terraining, could you explain the glow thingo.

Btw HBomber if u dont know much about terraining then its hard to explain....
Theres a fog doodad called generic glow and/or fog... They are good to make glows and shadings.

Atm ur rifleman is in bas contrast, and also the rabbit, hard to see them...

voids and madsens terrains are really nice, too, but voids snow ball isnt that creative (was a snow ball, right?)

Seriously Void, your terrain is inferior than Madsen and that hand ones.

Why do you think that? Personally I think it's more polished. The only negative thing I can, objectively, come up with is the fact that that camera angle has been done a billion times before, but both of the other terrains use that angle as well.

Because the other 2 are:

- Creative
- Cool
- Detailed

And they fit the theme, of course. Also, I can make a immense review of the 2, pointing their qualities and the few flaws, but I don't want to.

And mine isn't? I think a world inside a snowglobe is pretty creative, I guess "cool" is in the eyes of the viewer, but I think it's pretty cool, and it's definitely detailed.

I opened it and:

The city is too simple. It's just some buildings and random trees. Also, the blue snow doesn't fits.

And the perspective is the old "thing at the middle with 2 trees at the sides". Everyone is already sick of that.

I think the city is nice, the buildings aren't random, neither are the trees, and the snow doesn't look blue to me; what other snow am I supposed to use anyways? It seems like you're looking for bad things just for the sake of criticizing me.

Nah, there are good points in it, like the lightning. But the perspective kills it.

I know why people like my, cus the use of light + color theme + camera angle make it look epic.
Void's terrain is detail and creative, but problem is i think ur terrain lack shading, lighting and the color is too much on the same theme, no contrast... and last not least lack of a good camera angle. Ur terrain is prolly good for a Zoom out cinematic, but in a still shot it is too boring?
And to say a terrain of ur style, this one i think is better than urs if its in a snow globe:

Void, it's barely extremely detailed like you say, if I remember right, there isn't really a "point of focus", something to stare at and go "wow", sure, the globe is the focus, but it's not a great one, it's a fatass globe with some trees, rocks and water. Nothing "special" inside the globe, you know? :/ If you added like, a city with actual life and shit, it'd be far better.

Life and shit? Like what? Boats? Lights? I honestly find that request really really nitpicky because you can't add any details like that to something so small and have them be noticeable at all.

Make your camera with 120 FOV and all the detail will be replaced with the sheer awesomeness of the camera ! If it's already with 120 then you're pretty much fucked.

EDIT: Just saw it again, I had a thought. Remove the thick fog, and make an awesome background with mountains, cities, etc. Then you will have more detail, and there will be more awesome shit > Cons: I'd be lazy as hell, kinda hard to do with the camera angle, but idk.
