Well, i haven't been working much on my terrain the last week. For some reason my WE kept crashing every time i was terraining that map. I would get alot of work done and my WE would crash, and i would lose it all. It annoyed the crap out of me. But i couldnt really get the effect that i wanted anyways. So instead of doing the fish bowl city, i decided to go with my first idea. The idea comes from a naga royal guard quote.

"No sink is safe from world domination." Just a WIP. Its a naga city in a sink.

Meh... Although I'm not sure I'm completely done with it, this is my entry;

- The point of the terrain is; imagine that a titan came to a land, built his house there, and for some odd reason he vanished, thus leaving his house to slowly be taken over by nature and the native tribes and advanced societies found their place among the many furnitures of the odd new territory.

Oh shi - have to send a PM to the judges about that cathedral light thingy >.>

EDIT: Update.

EDIT2: Update, again >.>

Okay, this is my updated entry. Made it darker and added a giant ' torch ' to counter the fact that the foreground is brighter than the background due to the fog.

Story - An explorer has uncovered a tomb which has an ancient civilisation with its mighty but tiny cities.

Edit - Btw, Raid's terrain is simply awesome.
Edit - This is no longer my entry. I have a new one.

the terrains look good overall gl to everyone
as for the imports >.> i think it would be better to use unlimited amounts of imported material as long as they have ingame textures

why not?
as stated before its the insides of a clock.
there you can see clock-werk goblins and little bunnies driving the cogs :D
so its basically a small world inside your clock :D

Fine. I like the creativity, but I just feel it didn't match the description Void gave for the theme. However it isn't my decision, and I'm not even judging, so good luck convincing Void. :p

Gilles is right.
Although the screen is pretty neat it doesn´t look like a 'small world'. Additionally it doesn´t look like an clockwork from inside either. More like a goblintown dressed with many needless gearwheels.
You should add the back of a clock face at the background and try to give the gearwheels more structure. There´re placed too random imho.

€dit: nah, nearly forgot: The screen lacks an really good highlight. :/

@ Keiji:
I really like the idea and execution but the rocks are seriously out of place. Wonder how they get there...

Another WIP.

Naga Sink.jpg

I made the blue a little bit darker, but to me it doesn't feel as underwater like as it did in my last WIP. What do you think? I also added in more buildings and dishes.
