I've had a lot of trouble coming up with anything for this contest, but this is wip of what I'll likely be submitting. Unless I actually come up with something in the next day or two.
yeah, but you said earlier that you were trying to get it realistic, right?
And Happytauren, I know. But this is a competition. Presentation and quality counts.
Varsaigen, you should remove the snow and replace it with Outland Wind. It may look like wind in the editor but standing still it will look like dusty/ash clouds.
Edit: I ran into a problem. The fog and wind that you guys suggested are both in the weather. If I made the foreground fog red, It'd be in the distance...
I terrained my whole map xD xD but I wasn't sure which Angle I would be doing it from.... so, yeah. Thanks varsaigen, I will edit it a bit more now... hope I get it in in time
Wow, Volvox that is probably your best one yet. I just think there should be some mountains in the background on the right, because it just kinda fades into nothing there.
oeh volvox that one is awsome!
ok i tried to recreate a shot from the wow cinamatic a dwarf with hes bear looking over ironforge... or atleast that was the idea....
Just an advice, aside from 'flying' objects, in-game screenies complicate things, you can take a screenshot from WE, just press 'V' to switch to gameplay view settings and voila, you have your screenshot. That way, you can adjust your camera way better(hold ctrl, right-click and move your mouse to adjust the angle and rotation).
