INFORMATION
Sunken City is a Dungeon Crawler map with RPG elements. The Player controls a hero and has to over come numerous puzzles, traps, quests, enemies and different bosses to reach the end. The game contains multiple different features that allow for advanced hero customization.

Recommended Players: Soloing is possible, but for better experience play with 2 or 3 players.
Gameplay Time: Between 3 and 6 hours depending on number of players and difficulty.

  • Diverse Heroes: The 21 heroes in Sunken City possess different custom skills which are well presented in detailed tooltips.
  • Backpack System: In case your inventory is full, you are given a backpack with additional 6 slots where you can carry quest items or unused items for selling.
  • Stat System: Each level you are given the possibility to access the Skill Poitns Menu and gain access to secondary stats (non-Strength, Agility, Intelligence).
  • Item Interaction Systems: Sunken City gives the option to Disenchant items for stats or to Reforge unused lesser items to create better ones.
  • Chest System: There are many Chests scattered around the Sunken City. Opening them rewards you with a random item!
  • Quests: Embark quests that give you side objectives throughout the game!
  • Challenges: Complete difficult optional challenges for additional rewards.
  • Shop System: A simple and intuitive shop system makes it easier for players to navigate and purchase some of the many Sunken City shop items.
  • Rolling: Sunken City allows you to roll for items that suit everyone. Therefore you can avoid stealing.
  • Damage and Armor: Sunken City's gameplay is based around damaging the best target. By mouse-overing your damage and armor you will easiliy understand what's your best target!
  • Gold System: Players in Sunken City share the Gold gained by killing creeps!
  • Randomized Items: Each creature you kill has a chance of dropping one of the hundreds of items, contained in a scripted loot-table. In addition bosses have multiple drops, which add to the replayability.
  • Glyph System: A system that allows your hero to pick a combination of various Glyphs which add passive effects to your hero.
  • Talent System: Each hero has unique set of Talents that can amplify, modify, add or replace the existing hero abilities.

2.0 looks terrific. But look, does anyone actually play storm warden? He's a powerful newish hero with fun mechanics, custom model, and... an incorrect class item. Could we have this fixed in future release?

Is the door which need to be opened "in a perculiar way" bugged? read through the forum and from the sound of it, there's 3 braziers which need to be lighted up but we can't find any fire in any of the places mentioned by the people on the forum. Great map though

If you need details on the errors from memory dumps or anything to help you i put the original message below.

ever since using version 2.0 i get fatal errors when loading saved games via LAN. I can play the game just fine with my friends and v1.9.9 worked just fine (first round ever took us 8.5 hours to finish the map over 3 days. Great fun xD). But if we save and come back to it later the game crashes on like the last 5% loading bar.

I've been googling for about an error and apparently a million things can cause this problem. I listed attempted fixes below (in case you need them).
This problem seems isolated to your v2 map and only on LAN. I can save and load saves just fine from single player custom games.
We use Hamachi to simulate LAN connections.

-Tried several maps and maps we used to play. Still seems to be only your v2.0 update map

1. Is the Key of Life a extremely rare drop from chests/creeps or can i be obtained in some other way?
2. Is the branch now only obtained by killing the rare boss at the Idrassil?
3. Does the keg of ale have some use?

Any clue on how to open Ruin gate that need something to open it @The Vault?
There is a lever around there.

2.0 looks terrific. But look, does anyone actually play storm warden? He's a powerful newish hero with fun mechanics, custom model, and... an incorrect class item. Could we have this fixed in future release?

The lever lead me to Ancient Relics merchant which I already know it

I want to open the door that doesn't link to any mechanism and it need something else to open it

Or I really miss the lever you mentioned?

So, the only way I found to pass that new gate that replaced the bridge in the beginning on solo is to buy a furbolg token from the merchant and have him run to hit the lever. Is this the intended way?

Two players?

I know people have done it in single player before, but is it possible to beat the map and find all secrets(artifact, legendary items) without having a rogue? Me and my friend usually go Strength(me) and Mage(him). Do you absolutely need the rouge?

PS: Since I have not played the latest version, I'm not quite up to date, so I'm not sure if the Blink-like ability is limited to rogue class

You can acess all secret areas with two heroes. Rogue-specific areas give rogue-specific rewards, so you don't need them anyways. Also, Rogue-specific areas are not considered "secret". :)

I love the new map dude ^^ even the new music; the old music got old to be honest. Too bad in 2.0.0 my friends and I couldn't load our saved game but I see that's fixed in 2.0.1. Let's hope it worked.

Struggling with map

Hi, started playing the latest version with a Mage and Death Knight. I would like a yes/no answer to some ideas:
1-After watching part of the replay with fog of war off, i noticed two tomes west of the "Vault" Dungeon, but found no way to get there. Is it possible?
2-The part with the four runes; is it connected to the Tablet of Life, and if so, does it have anything to do with legendary items.
3-How many legendaries are there 3? 4? 6? kinda confused
4-What is the guardian key acquired from?
5-What is this queens staff frequently mentioned

Help would be very much appreciated.

1-After watching part of the replay with fog of war off, i noticed two tomes west of the "Vault" Dungeon, but found no way to get there. Is it possible?
2-The part with the four runes; is it connected to the Tablet of Life, and if so, does it have anything to do with legendary items.
3-How many legendaries are there 3? 4? 6? kinda confused
4-What is the guardian key acquired from?
5-What is this queens staff frequently mentioned

Help would be very much appreciated.

1.) Yes, it is.
2.) It is not connected to the Tablet of Life. It is connected to a legendary item.
3.) There are 6. The <-items> command should state that.
4.) I suppose you mean to say "Where is the guardian key acquired from?" If that's your question I can't give you the exact location, but I can say it's in the Level 10+ area.
5.) It's an item of great power. It has special uses.

Thank you, but I noticed something else; "-stats" command is broken; most of the text displays on the same area as the bottom GUI, making it unreadable. Will post a screenshot as soon as I can

I r8 8\8 gr8 map m8.
For real, i'm playing this map for a long time now and it is great. The only things that I dislike in this map are non guaranted legendary items and red ones. When you are lucky enough - you get red items and game becomes easy as hell until the end and that's kind of boring. Legendary items, on the other hand, are cool and interesting, but that's kind of sad that 3 of them are non guaranted. Of course, game difficulty highly depends from luck and random cause you can either get 2 violet item from first three mobs or get no items at all, but legendaries should be some kind of guaranted and HARD obtainable items so you would lost 10-15 (or 1-5 as pro player) lives while getting them. For example, branch for axe legendary item drops from Ancient as it is now, but he is in every game and VERY strong (I mean LIEK SO STRONG) and fully regenerates after all heroes die and goes back to neutral state so you can try again or just say "F it" and go on. Phoenix legendary is ok cause it is kind of guaranted. As for Dawn - well, most of the time you can obtain it (or save-load at the right place, but that's boring), but still... It should be like when you kill Zerash he becomes freaking strong elite boss and... well, i think you got me.

Guys, I looked everywhere for the Ghost Key and couldn't find it! I remember last time I played, it can be found easily. Please help me out, some hints will do :)

hey!

i've been playing (and completing) your map a couple times now and i've enjoyed all of it so far, hope you continue this further. anyway, i noticed a minor quest error. in the level 6 dungeon (skeleton lair, i think?) when Nadrian initiates the quest, he still refers to Ravius as Rekst. i don't know if this was fixed in 2.0.2 as it's not mentioned in the changelog, but i just wanted to let you know.

I noticed a plot hole, if I can remember it correctly, it is said that Elise pointed her staff at King Feric and his body vanished and he was cursed to stand in that single spot forever, yes?
Then why does he have a tomb and a tombstone if he doesn't have a body to be buried?

I'm not playing now so I'm not sure if I can remember it correctly.

On my 2nd playthrough and again i'm stuck at the gate which needs the The Kalisean Flame. Already checked around the Skeleton Tomp Instance, and other places where ppl have said it might be, but still can't find it :( Please help.. pretty pleasee

You need a special item to get into the Armory.
I'll work on the plot hole. Make sure to let me know if you find more, because I changed up the story lately and I could have missed some stuff like that.

It's infront of the Skeleton Tomb Dungeon entrance. Look closely for something breakable.

Found minor bug(minor feature?) with Berserk
In the screenshot, with that itemisation, Berserk receive from "D" ability additional +12 all stats
When i drop 1 item(except spectral dagger) and recast, this bonus fade.
Ye, ye, i know that it is not fatal

A bug I found, when I used Paladin's shield skill on the Orc Warrior that I can control, my Paladin's HP gets reduced by half, then dies O_O
After that, any skills that I use triggers same effect

Love the new deathstalker, great work! (sadly Orb effect but yee i think its ok. I love the fact that u need to get attackspeed with him, unlike the other ranged agility Heroes with their own buffs. Offers more options)

I always forget all the bugs i found, lets see how much i can remember ;)

picking up the stormreaver Journal doesnt trigger it ( don't find it in the f9 section, V2.0.2)

2 typos, same as in my last comment:
counts mento says "After gaining an attriubte" instead of attribute.
"you have unleahsed an angry and hungry beast" should be unleashed..

(edit:) After Nadrian reading the changelog, maybe Rekst Skull and the sunken City Quest-caller should read it as well and rename it to ravius skull from reksts skull :)

So ankhs now cant be pawned? ;)

really cant find the torch item, neither in the old versions nor in the new..
Pleease some hints :D

Gj nerfing the serpent tablet, was way to op..
Thats it for now, ill write down the others i find so i don't forget them anymore :p

Hey there. Me and a friend recently found your map, and we were having a good time getting through it and all. Except when we got to the three braziers part, we couldn't find hide nor hair of whatever we were supposed to do. At all. Luckily we were able to break through the level ten area, but a whole bunch of stuff was locked behind that door.

How do you do the brazier thing?

You people need to read messages above... the creator has answered the question over a hundred times I swear. But check right in front of the skeleton tomb dungeon. Look for something breakable and pick up the item it drops, then use the item on the 3 braziers.

It has a use besides being a reference. It's one of the six legendary items in the game. However you cannot complete it in every game.

4 switches

I'm pretty sure i've triggered all 4 switches to open the massive door, but it just didnt open. Could you please confirm if I got the right switches?

1) inside a small chamber locked by a rolling door
2) In a room with a little fountain in the middle
3) In the room with the nerubian spiders
4) In the corridor right below the master chambers

Also, I've read here about the password to open the masters chambers right door. I think I've found the item with the clue, but it doesn't say where should I stand when typing it. Does it have any specific requirements or I should just type it in front of the door?

Does the gold mine in front of the ruined game has any purpose?

Anyways, this is probably the most entertaining map I've ever played. Keep up the good work.

Yes, these are the correct ones. What you are saying is weird to me, because I've never experienced a problem with that door. I got a couple of ideas though:
-Are you sure you took the Far Seer quest that involves opening the massive door with four switches?
-After pressing all switches, did the quest get marked as complete?
-Are you sure you pressed all switches? I can't recall, but I think certain pets cannot trigger them, so it should be your hero stepping on them.

Neither of the doors require a password for a long time now. There are other ways to open them and it may not happen every game.

Yes. There is a rare quest that may or may not spawn in your game. If it does, it involves the Gold Mine.

Anyways, this is probably the most entertaining map I've ever played. Keep up the good work.
