Choose from 44 very unique heroes to defend against 60 epic waves of enemies.

Learn skills like Weaponcraft, Powercraft, Spellcraft, Capitalism and Wisdom.

Type "-random" to pick random heroes including the secret hero.
"-cam (number)" to change to a further camera view.
"-Kills" show kill count
"-count" to show number of enemies.
"-rate" to show exp rate of all players.
"-ms" to show movement speed.
"-size" to make enemies grow 2x .
"-boom" to see for yourself.
"-t" to teleport back to the castle.
"-nw (show/hide)" to show or hide Net Worth leaderboard that is added on version 2.65

For Weather commands:
-weather snow, -weather rain, -weather wind, weather moonlight, -weather off

Hints:
- (enable/disable hints) ; which will give hints randomly every minute. Disabled by default.



For Player 1 exclusive commands only:
"-kick (player number)" --- to kick a player
"-give gold/wood (value) (Player color) --- to give/reduce gold

-You can also manipulate pre-wave timer (Player 1 only)
-Each hero has its own background story.

Systems:
-Has Advanced multiboard to see all the details needed for the map
-Has Advanced Recipe System for smooth experience.
-Has Leaderboards to show your team's Net Worth
-Has "Summoned Heroes" that can scale their stats infinitely based on the player's crafts.
-Has different types of enemies. Normal (1x reward), Strong (Spawns only half and 2x reward), Elite (There are only 4 per wave and has 5x rewards)

You can access the unprotected version of the map (can be found in author's note)
But the map link in hive is protected.


Hero Tower: This tower can level up and use items.
Diamond: Is a currency that is equivalent to 10000 golds.
Weather System: This system gives players commands to weathers (see commands at top)

Omega spell: each hero can learn his strongest spell, to learn it the hero has to reach level 30 and defeat the omega boss, paying 15000 gold to challenge him in the arena (Shop north-west corner)

CRAFTS: there are 5 crafts that you can increase with certain items or by leveling

->Weaponcraft (only for weaponcraft heroes): the more weaponcraft you have, the more damage your abilities do, and generally improve your abilities. Weaponcraft increases your strength by 1 for each 100% after each wave.

->Powercraft (only for powercraft heroes): the more powercraft you have, the more damage your spells do or just generally improve your spells. Powercraft increases your agility by 1 for each 100% after each wave.

->Spellcraft (only for spellcraft heroes): the more spellcraft you have, the more damage your spells do, the longer your summons last, or just in general improve your spells. Spellcraft increases your intelligence by 1 for each 100% after each wave.

->Capitalism gives you bonus gold after each wave, amount increases per wave, the more capitalism you have, the more gold you receive. Effects abilities for certain heroes.

->Wisdom gives you bonus exp after each wave, amount increases per wave, the more wisdom you have, the more experience you receive. Effects abilities for certain heroes. Effects abilities for certain heroes.

Personal Items: Each hero has a personal item that he/she can unlock; you need to get the item Personal Item unlocker and you will kill 100 units to unlock the personal item.

- You can challenge 3 bosses: Fire Master, Plague King and Grand lich to gain diamonds. But there is 1 more boss.. Nah.. it's up to you to find him.


- If you are upto the challenge, you can farm gold and exp fighing endlessly spawning enemies. You just have to be careful of the Big One.

This map is based from the original version 1.31 by Skamigo. I improved it very well to make it better by focusing on the gameplay. As of version 2.62, I renamed the map to Wintercore HD because it's not just his map now but ours and it can continue motivate me to continue the map.

Anyone can download the unprotected version of the map. You can edit, modify it or learn from it. (Note: Loading time is horribly slow that takes a minute <Makes it eat my time developing the map>). The Unprotected version of the file is always attached to my latest comments when a version releases.

There will be a time when I will stop releasing updates for a while as to do other important things in life. When that comes I will return someday and add some things that I have learned.

Hello guys! I so much enjoy playing this map. Completed it at all difficulty levels, and it remains very entertaining still. However though I am advised of a presence of several secret events and shops, I can't seem to discover any, except for 1000 diamonds event. There are so many trees on this map and so many combinations in which order I could cut 'em down it would take me years to try them all, literally, I don't get much time to spend on computer games.
So what I am leading to is that it would be very helpful if anybody would probably share their wisdom on this subject. Knowing some secrets surely will make my experience playing this map even more delightful.
map is 10/10.
 
Vendors could be grouped better and items could be less to fit precise objectives. They're all over the place now.
The Voidwalkers have a 100% evasion? Only spells do some actual damage. That's not wise if brute damage heroes are selected.

No hero in this map has only its attacks to rely upon and thus that isn't an issue. They all have active abilities and/or triggered passives to kill them with.

That being said, I do think that evasion on creeps shouldn't go over 90%, as some heroes have more active damaging abilities than others and those that rely more on their attacks are unfairly disadvantaged. I can understand wanting a high evasion to create a bit of variety and make players use their abilities for a round, but 100% is taking it a bit too far. In fact, it would be best to simply lower their evasion to 80% but ensure that evasion creeps take increased damage from spells.

I apologize for being inactive for months because of my busy days before. I also lost all the files in my pc because I reformatted my pc and mistakenly deleted all files in hard drive and the latest unprotected version also got lost.

All that's left is the unprotected version of the map posted in map description in hive which is Version 2.47.

If I continue this map, It may as well take months to restore it to the latest version.


These are the lost features in SHD that may or not to be included in version 2.50:
1) Random Mode (Done...)
2) Cursed Stone (Done...)
3) Some Secret Events
4) Vampire and Elemental Mage Hero
5) Some bug fixes that has been forgotten
6) Item Tooltips (Done...)

For the posts above, I may consider doing what all of you says.
I know it's a big failure to lose my work but please wait patiently for 1-6 months in order to release Version 2.50

After updating I will keep Version 2.49 in the map description just in case.
And every version, I will release unprotected version.

Wait! Your hiveworkshop message box should have a slightly more updated version (I added the tooltips to alot of items, if you'll remember.) That should help you out a bit!

I also recommend you keep your maps on a thumb drive. That's what I do! It'll mean you'll never lose them.

Edit: Dammit. I don't have it anymore, sorry! I must've deleted it a while back.

Well... what now. That means our efforts are wasted
Reworking it can make me feel lazy especially the random mode


Edit: Wait! There is still hope, I downloaded the official 2.49 and luckily it was only half-protected where the map and the unit data is visible. So, I exported it and put it on unprotected Version 2.47 map.

That means we don't have to start the tooltips all over again.

Out of curiosity; what damage engine do you use if any? A suppose it's a bit of a strange question to ask but I'm genuinely curious.

I don't know, its just that it was there since I started developing this map. If you want to know more, you can download the unprotected version and find the trigger.

Suggestion 1:
+250 All Stats

Effect - Basic attacks drain mana and deal damage equal to 5% of the Vampire's current mana.

(Reason: this would be a simple fix to give Vampire a use for mana whilst giving him some interesting burst capabilities; although, it could be a bit frustrating to manage)

This suggestion for personal item will be followed and I had already made a perfect replica of vampire.

Changes in Vampire:
{Q} Death Trigger - Will increase damage to 200/400/600/800 x Weapocraft from 150/300/450/600
{W} Death Ritual - It will be made AoE of 75 but same damage and slightly longer cooldown. Also Fix Hotkey
{E} Blood Thirst - Kill heal turns to 15/30/45/60 x Weaponcraft from 6/12/18/24
{R} Vampiric Immunity - No Changes
{Omega} Immortality - Swapped Skill from Death Knight

Love the map man, been playing it with a friend who thought warcraft 3 customs were all garbage and I finally found one he likes
found some bugs
1 - he was playing as trader, trying to upgrade his eye of fortune but his horse wasn't carrying the eye. It refunded him money, but it was giving him more money than he spent for some reason. He blasted himself to 400000 gold pretty quick.

2 - WHY DOESN'T THE SECRET CHARACTER HAVE A PERSONAL ITEM I CRIED FOR HOURS

3 - Necromancer's undead touch summoned units duration does not scale with spellcraft, despite the description. I was very disappointed to see the boss character I had taken control of only lasted 60 seconds

4 - Necromancer also has a tooltip bug. His personal item says you can summon the minion every 20 seconds, but the actual cooldown is more like 120 seconds.

5 - God's Titan's "Gifted Power" ability doesn't work at all. I shoulda gotten 8000 strength with that condensed milk ;-;

6 - The time berserker has an exploit that there isn't an easy fix for. If you "attack" the penguin, his lifesteal will be fully applied despite not actually attacking the penguin. This has to do with the trigger being based on beginning the animation for a basic attack, I would imagine

Thanks for your report but the exploit was triggered when you attempted to buy Upgrade Eye (for fortune,insight,scourge, and power), Also applies to eye of apocalypse and the message appears and generates 10,000 gold / 20,000 for apocalypse. It was an easy fix.

While it's on my mind -- I suggest you make dummy items for tomes that increase attributes. It's fairly easy to grief if you know the Warcraft III engine. Buying ANY stat increasing tome on a courier that isn't a Hero will immediately crash the game.

Just make dummy items for every tome and make it so when that dummy item is purchased by a Hero they get the tome, if the buy is the courier you get a refund and the item disappears. (isn't applied)

Maybe in the next version. Please wait for months for the new version to be updated. Since I accidentally deleted the latest unprotected version. I am still currently restoring the changes from version 2.47.

The ones with parentheses will be changed and not yet applied in the map.

It has certain limit and I'll consider adding its limit so that it could remain useful till late game but I cannot make it unlimited because its impossible.

There's not a limit, actually. Google an additive health system, it'll allow you to have infinite scaling on health, and if you reverse engineer it, you can even make it infinite damage.

What it allows you to do is add multiple item abilities to a unit so that in theory you can have any health

I use custom upgrades which sets the damage and hp depending on craft it is leveled up to level 100

If there are no other ways then I'll make the value higher
ex: Necromancer skeleton
It'll turn the upgrade damage and hp double and also sets the level of upgrade to 200% of spellcraft compared to 100%.

Also if I make multiple item abilities, that would be more than 200.


I'm sorry to say that it may take too much time and effort for me to do that and I'm not yet familiarized at using JASS but thanks for helping me.

After long 8 months, I finally uploaded a new version which is in beta phase. There are no added heroes yet but I focused on Dragon hero. I reduced the file size from 6.06 mb to 5.51 mb as well as increased loading speed. The file is uploaded on mediafire.

You can unlock the secret hero by moving the Flame of Life (They can move through barriers) into the God's Orb area north of level 5 shop.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but the Dragon only seems to have 2 spells to learn (time stop and portal), and he started with the omega spell.


Also, certain spells, at high craft levels, create too many objects for the game to handle, like the illusionist hero, or the spider queen's summons. I think there should be a soft cap (a really high one, but low enough to keep the game from falling apart) on how many summons from that spell can be out, and their stats should scale with crafts (because they're kinda useless lategame when you have a million spiders that can't even damage enemies anymore)

all in all, good job tho
I thought I'd have to wait months for the fixed necromancer

Thanks for your comment. I'll fix the dark fire dragon immediately and release beta version 2 today.

The dragon should have 4 skills ; Wisdom Fireball , Chaos Shower , Generate Wealth , and Death Portal.

As for the summoned units, I'll fix it in beta 3.

It happens because I am importing and exporting ability data in the maps. There is no editor suffix I just realized a while ago. When I imported ability data in the map, the triggers in spells, abilities of the heroes got messed up which I forgot to configure.

No worries... You should see some of my releases; they're usually really buggy too (tired triggering is a literal bitch).

The important thing is that you've got the framework you just need to mold back to what it was. It's nothing you need to apologize for.

Anywho, I believe fixing the Vampire's abilities (namely his Q and W sharing the same hotkeys as one another and the fact his Q doesn't do any damage) should be a priority. I've tried playing him and I just was literally useless since my Q did literally no damage.

I remade the final boss, It will now become stronger and weaker depending on difficulty and will get godlike items which also depends on difficulty. (tell me if you think the boss is overpowered)

First, Great that you are back and are Working on the Map again. Now to your latest map and the 2 Heroes(Vampire and Life Manipulator).

Vampire

Q-Ability: in the early stages of the Game, the 50% hp will 99,99% kill you, but you will 100% kill everything in you Range. In the Lategame(30+), where you have lots of Str thx to WeaponCraft and Items, the 50% is way too much of a loss for a pretty weak spell itself. If i hadn't a Life Manipulator on my Side, i would have never used the Spell lategame. You should consider doing something with it.
W-Ability: Can stay exactly the way it is, it just suits him and works fine.
E-Passiv: The Idea behind it is good and early it does its job, but Lategame where you have 100-200k hp, you dont feel anything of it anymore.
Ultimate: The Current Ultimate is on this Style useless. you reduce 50% dmg taken, doesnt really matter because most of the dmg you get, you deal yourself, and the heal from enemy attacks is too low to give it a Function as an Ultimate. An Idea would be, to remove the 50% reduce thing and make it an Active, that last 5-6 seconds and instead of getting dmg from enemy hits, you heal yourself, with 90-120sec cd.
Omega: He just needs it and fits perfectly;)
Class Item: 250allstats...pretty low, then the effect that u drain 5% of target mana and do that amount in dmg...most enemies dont have mana, and if they have mana, its a low amount of mana that you dont feel the effect at all. Consider his Unique Mechanic a bit more, how about reducing the dmg your Q does to yourself to 25%-30%, that would be usefull as classitem.

Life Manipulator
Where to start...he brakes the game...i played with 1 friend, he had invoker, at round 10 we had 500 allstats, round 20 we had 2-3k allstats and that just snowballed further out of control after he received the eye, at dragon round we had over 22k all stats.
His Ultimate is a good idea and works fine, however plz remove buildings out of his targets. he can reduce the hp from buildings(you cant kill them, but shouldnt happen)
Class Item is way too strong, he can spam his Healcircle, 2sec cd and 12 sec duration(or something like that) is a joke, especially that it now heals buildings too. And then there is the point, that with his class item he has "4" necklaces(1. Powercraft x7, 2. Powercraft x7#2, 3. Spellcraft x7, 4. Grand necklace).

And in the Boss round Absolute Zero, the Legendary Item "Absolute Zero" spawns random around the Castle, why does a op legendary item spawn?

I might do these changes:
{Q} - Death Trigger - I will reduce the damage dealt to himself to 30%.

{E} - Blood Thirst - when killed someone, he will regen 1% of hp + weaponcraft.

For personal item:
It doesn't drain enemy unit's mana but instead it will deal damage based on your percentage of current mana pool. It was implemented because to make his high intelligence useful.

Life Manipulator:

I will do total nerf on him especially the stats. maybe the personal item will be changed from 1st skill to 2nd skill. Also, I will reduce the craft growth of the hero.

I don't know... It must be a bug... I'll try to fix it.
But the question is, When did this happen? Can you give me a replay so that I can review it.

Yey!! New Skamigo! I like your new Hero Life Manipulator but there is a bug when you random a hero....no horse! T_T i have to walked all the way to the shop on the top left..the horse spawns on normal picks but when you random it's a no no.
