Hello Legion HD Players!
Of course if you have clicked here, you are interested in playing the game!

I am Gyldarts, the maker of the HD version of Legion TD!
(The Real LEGION TD is made by Lisk, (visit http://www.legiontd.com/))

If you haven't played the game(TD and HD), i assure you that the game is fun to be played with your friends or online, or just alone to try the game.

Your mission in Legion HD is to fight agains wave of creeps, and send powerful creeps with your lumber gathered by your workers to kill the enemies' King!


  • You can use lumber to:
  • Upgrade your king
  • Send Creeps
  • Upgrade your workers


You use heroes to defend against the enemy creep waves, everything is similar except you use heroes in this game, not building troops to defend against enemy waves.

Unlike the original Legion TD, you can roam around other player's area(allies) and help them in Legion HD, all that matters is team work, you need excellent teamwork in here, because after series of levels the creeps can be stronger than you expected, especially ranged levels.

Version 1.50c Editor's Version Released!
Final update of Legion TD! Version 1.50c fixed some bugs and tooltips. Removed Tidal Wave from Sea Giant, and buffed dmg to compensate. Various balance changes. King Control improved. This is the final official version of Legion TD for Warcraft 3. I have released an Editor's Version of the map, for people who are interested in continuing Legion TD. You can also find it in the downloads section.

Download the map and the Editor's Version here and discuss it in the forum. Feedback is encouraged and appreciated.

Good,
-Terrain impovement

-workers cost improved (even if it would be better 4 instead of 5 food, 'cause farms give 8 food)

-added new hero

-hero revives the next turn if dies


Other problems:

-I noticed that, if your hero dies, or inventory is full, the ank will go near the king, wich can pick it up and revive if dead;

-if someone in your team leaks, you got to run to take the leaks, and not always you are able to reach them;

-if you are defending the king, you ain't got much time to go back to your position;

-some skills are unbalanced;

-boss levels are too difficoult;

-you can go in the spawn zone, so you can use your skills to nuke spawns, without getting attacked;

-you can attack your king (don't know if can attack allies too);


So, in my opinion, you should:

-pervent the king from pickin' up items;

-add a teleport sistem;

-review some skills (for example, passive skills got too much % chance to work, or other ones cost too little/much mana in comparison with others);

-adding an item shop wouldn't be bad;

-dont know if it is a good idea, but make creeps in the spawn zone invulnerable;

-make farms upgradable;

-don't let the heroes attack the king;

-an arena after each boss would be nice i think.

Thanks z.ky, i'll do some of those, but attacking when they've spawned is normal actually, but it's a high risk against ranged creeps.

Well some unbalanced skills are made exclusively for them, but at later levels (20+) they are not useful anymore, well except archmage , his spells are deadly until 29.

Thanks, + repping again when possible, i guess i'll move heroes to their position every time the round ends.

I played this map twice, different version and some heroes are much more stronger than another. Not that balance. For example, Assaulter is way too strong, can kill all enemies in just few seconds.

- You may want to add a shop too

Downloading. Will give my review after i tested it.

Edit: ok tested it with my friends. (Most of my friends left after the third wave)
I agree with all z.ky said but i think it would be better if:
-the player finished his wave then he will be teleported to the king and help those allies who leak.
-And also do not allow the heroes to leave their own area because all the players could go to the middle and help each other kill mostly ks each other which will allow your team mates to leave.
-And since the heroes are unbalanced with each other, only 1 hero will get most of the kills and the gold.
-And if the hero has more attractive custom spells would be nice.
-And there should be more items to be bought.

I think blademaster the cleaving damage and area is too much. Other than that i'm not sure because my friends complained about that a lot as it does not use mana and deal quite a lot of damage.

other:

-take another look at my last post

-if hero is dead, the ank you bought will go in a random point of your team's area-

change starting food from 30 to 28, and worker's food cost from 5 to 4

-is it me or the west king is much stronger?

-however, the heroes are too much skillbuild dependent, making it less "strategic" or variable,
and I think there are still too many similar skills.

-this is just an idea.. what about giving to the hero a "leadership" skill, wich allows you to create units, like the original legion td? for example, lv4 hero with lv2 leadership, you can make lvmax unit = lv leadership, maxnum units = lv leadership

that was just a suggestion
 
Nonono, the king is balanced by the team's number.

About the ankh, don't buy it when you're dead, it's common sense actually.
No starting food is 30 and worker's food will stay 5.

I'm thinking about making heroes skillbuild independent, by using items.

Thats a good idea but, still it would be hard to balance it.


Changes:
  • Balanced the Blademaster and changed it's name to Troll Blademaster(aaand it's model is changed too)
    ->War Slam nerfed
  • Warden attacks with 500 range now, and with it's attackspeed of 0.30 and damage 82.
  • Burning Archer's second spell revised
  • Assaulter's Ultimate revised

I forgot to mention that the badrock clan guy's bladestorm is a bit too pro because he can kill the creeps faster than the blademaster. But i'm not sure weather you fixed it or not in this version.

and.. west king: 9600 hp 205-215 dmg 715 range

est king: 7200 hp 181-191 dmg 900 range


. . . . .
 
Dude don't use the Burning Archer yet, it's still imbalanced i'm still trying to fix it.

Edit:
2.5c at last burning archer is not imbalanced anymore
I suggested to change food valors, just because a farm gives 8 food only, so you can make only 1 worker with 1 farm

8+30 Food = 1+5 worker
16+30 Food = 3+5 worker
24+30 Food = 4+5 Worker
32+30 Food = 6+5 Worker
40+30 Food = 8+5 Worker

+5 = no farm built
+30 = no farm built

so it's actually balanced
