I would like to request a simple edit of the Firelord.

I would like to have a firelord model with default black texture and black fire emitters replacing those emitter of the firelord.

Altho I can edit the Firelords color to black using the Object Editor, I can't really avoid in making the firelord texture appear. This only happens when the firelord is being slowed by frost nova and the illusions of the firelord.

Particles being black won't be shown, as it is equal to 100% alpha channel.

It depends on the options, I did not get deep into it, it depends what mode you use.

Grey is just a 50% black -> 50% alpha channel. I check out what mode is required for black particles or someone else could have a look on it.

I figured it out, try this one. It is not always a 100% black, tell me if it needs to be.

Um...I made a blunder a while back and posted this in the wrong thread but...can someone do this request? It's a mesh transplant so that the model there will use Kwaliti's Lich King animations. And if it's not too much trouble can the sword glow be added to it as well?

For the animation part, have you tried to use an animation transfer tool ?

The model stand still because you didn't rig the vertices to the bones. You need to assign(rig) them to the model's bones. You can do it in matrix eater. Just sellect the certain vertices and right click and sellect the bone you want to attach the vertices to(arm right, chrst, leg...). It's easy if you try it several times. Remember to move the bones to the mesh of your model.

Vertices is the plural of vertex. One vertex is one point you can see if opening the model editor ( so you don't have a textured model, but lots of lines and points).

Obviously, for example, if you have a bone called bone_leftarm, then you attach the vertices, the points, of that very left arm to that bone. If that bone is moved during the animation, then the attached vertices will follow it.
Since you want Kwaliti's LK to be animated, you do it with him ( as far as I understood the issue).

Can I get a step by step? I want the HQ Arthas to have Kwaliti's animations but it's not going so well :/

So I open it with matrix eater and it converts it into .mdl.

Then I click File -> Import and a menu with multiple tabs show up.

Since I'm only interested in animations, I only import the stuff from the animation and bones tab, is that right?

What should I do with the matrices tab?

Anyway...this is what I got so far...it's a lot more difficult than I expected.

I'm not against doing it myself but considering this is the first time I'm doing something like this, I think it's pretty much beyond my skill level at this point. Can anyone I ask again if anyone's willing to take up the request? I'm sure it'll be useful to others as well.

Follow this video tutorials from Part 1. If you don't get it from the first time, watch again, and again. Until you understand. That's how I learned. If you have further questions just ask Retera, if he is active he will help you.

Thanks for the model, but no. The shaman is not supposed to be visible either. Like the portrait in this picture (no unit is currentlly selected though).

So: when my shaman is selected, I want it to display an seemingly empty portrait.

EDIT:
I made some research and tinkered around with pathes. No model needed. thnaks for your effort Ardenian!

Had a look on it, the UV mapping is completely, excuse the language, fucked up.

This is ugly to fix, it is not difficult, but annoying and time-consuming.

I am glad Stefan.K gave you an alternative

Yeah...the model was also glitchier than it looked. I tested it out in game and the shoulder pads weren't actually attached to him for some reason.

And if I may ask, is there anyone here who has a Blood Elven that can be used as some sort of fortress?

Hm, I see. I is a bit difficult, since there are no raw values I could copy, I have to guess the angle and try and try.
Do you really need one for the single eggsack ?
 
Hi guys! Can I make a request? I just found this awesome Luffy model (View attachment luffy.zip) (according from the uploader, the owner of this model is unknown) and I want to use its animation to replace a Warcraft III Blood Elf Priest model's animation. Can someone do the job for me? Also, remove all alternate animations and the spell three animation from the Luffy model except spell alternate one. Also, make some improvements in animation and use in-game textures if available (Am I asking too much? Lol). Thanks :grin:
