Maiev and her watchers arrived in the ruins of the orcish homeworld, Draenor. They soon discovered that Illidan had come alone, thus the recapture proved to be fairly easy. Then the naga had arrived on Outland, and they had brought new allies: the same blood elves that Maiev had helped before. Maiev and her soldiers fought the naga and their traitorous elven friends, but the new army outnumbered hers, and eventually she was defeated. The naga and blood elves recaptured Illidan and freed him. Upon the warden's final moments, Illidan decided to imprison her instead.Soon after that, Maiev would be contacted by Akama, unsatisfied by not being given the Black Temple as promised and the wary Maiev agreed to enter a partnership and vowed to see Illidan dead.

Maiev Shadowsong - Leader of the Watchers. She treated the Watchers as her family and she grew bitter after the death of her comrades. And when their own government would not at least avenge their deaths, then by Elune, Maiev would see it done herself.

Akama - Elder sage of the Ashtongue tribe. Akama allied himself with Illidan and aided in the overthrow of Magtheridon, only to later find that Illidan was no better than the pit lord. He remained a loyal servant of Illidan but away from his prying eyes, Akama sought to end Illidan's reign.

Illidan Stormrage - He along with his servants managed to overthrow the tyrannical ruler of Outland, the pit lord Magtheridon, and claim the demon's stronghold and army for himself. After that he was nearly killed in attempting to destroy the Lich King. Having survived, Illidan retreated once more to Outland to muster his forces and prepare for his new plans.

- In Chapter 7, An aesthetic issue of Blood Elf buildings due to using the same texture as the doodads.
- In Chapter 9, the pit lord and his minions can see you even when you are invisible, it's best to keep away from them.
- Equipping an orb along with the Sea Essence will not trigger its chain lightning.

- Lunar Shield now also restores health and mana instead of just armor.

Broken Draenei:
- Stalker renamed into Primalist.
- Disruptor is now changed to Harpooner with a new ability.
- Darkslayer renamed into Battlelord.
- Far Seer renamed into Spiritbinder, along with its spells. Now, have Spirit Cleanse, Spirit Mend & Wind Rush Totem.
- Warlock renamed into Channeler and now have Shadow Bolt, Weaken Soul & Summon Shadowfiend.
- Removed Avian Warriors and now replaced by Spore Bats with new abilities.
- Salamanders now have new ability, Static Charge. Removed Demolish.

Draenei:
- Now playable.
- Removed Faerie Dragons and Shaman.
- Added new buildings, changed some building models.
- Added new units such as Skyguard, Soulpriest, Elekk and Nether Ray.

Blood Elf:

- Fixed Anyndra's Q spell so that it won't cause instant kill.
- Fixed Akama's Healing Surge. Now, no longer dispels on attack.
- Penance no longer heals enemy mechanical unit.

- Added WoW voices in the fight with the Illidari Council.

- Removed corpses in the ending cinematic in Chapter 10.

- Decreased a bit the difficulty of Kael's fight. Spawned units now have increased intervals.
- Remove the mana of Salamanders.
- Arcane Guardian's Haywire now decreases movement of speed instead of increasing it.
- Increased the damage of A'tamal cannon a bit.
- Akama's Healing Rain no longer gives immunity for the first 5 seconds after casting.
- Minor fixes.

- Removed the mana of Guardian and Skyguard.
- Reduced the food cost of Skyguard from 5 to 4.
- Fixed the AI of Chapter 2.
- Fixed the bug in Chapter 9 where Varendis is revealed before freeing and killing Azaloth.
- Added an enemy hero in Chapter 9.
- Increase the mana cost of Arrow Volley from 75 to 85 mana.
- Nerfed the purple AI in Chapter 3.
- Fixed the cooldown of Blink Strike, now should properly have 10/7/4 sec. cooldown instead of 10/10/1 sec.
- Reduced the damage of Blink strike from 60/120/180 to 30/60/90 and reduced the mana cost from 50 mana to 50/30/10 mana.
- Reduced the duration of Lunar Shield from 25 sec. to 15 sec. and increased its cooldown from 15 sec. to 25 sec.
- Buffed the Raise Dead ability of Fel Orc Necrolyte.
- Increase the damage of Arcane Explosion from 125 damage to 150 damage.
- Units affected by Moonlight Shadow no longer auto-attack enemy units when idle.
- Minor item drop changes.
- Minor additions and other changes all over the campaign.

- New 3D campaign screen.
- Increase the range of Skyguard from 350 to 450, similar to the standard rangari.
- Splitting Mirage Illusion now deals 25% damage instead of 50% and takes 150% more damage.
- Removed Mana Burn from Marsh Walkers.
- Other minor fixes and changes.

- Fixed the Magtheridon bug in Chapter 3.
- Minor model changes.

- Chapter 6 and Chapter 8 map mechanics concerning boss battles, now shares the same with Chapter 3: Magtheridon's Lair. Includes respawnable battle units and limited revivals for heroes.
- The number of revivals vary with difficulty, Easy with 5 revivals, Normal with 4 revivals and Hard with 3 revivals.
- Changes made to Lady Vashj, Kael, Mother Shahrahz and other bosses battle.
- Minor changes and additions all throughout the campaign.

This is a very challenging campaign and overall very well constructed. So much going on and a lot to learn.
I am having fun playing this and i enjoyed the options available of different units. I like the micro aspect of this campaing. I finished it but i really broke a sweat here. The Battle for Shattrath took me like 1 and a half hours to get it over with. And ofc the betrayer... i lost all my units and because i really dont like saving and reloading i bought heroes back selling my items and finally killed him but it was a struggle to be honest. Well done and thank you for this brilliant campaign.

In Chapter Two, I was able to destroy Kamar'gor's base with just my heroes and the units given at the start of the mission, I didn't even have to build anything. Also, if you destroy his base before you complete the first main quest, it will mark the second undiscovered main quest as completed even though you had never discovered it in the first place and you will move onto the next mission, you don't even have to complete the first main quest at all, lol. I think this should be fixed, If a quest is categorized as a main quest it should be required that you complete it before moving onto the next level. Also I shouldn't be able to destroy the main enemy's base with the units given to me at the start of the level. These things aren't map breaking by any means, but it ruins the immersion just a little bit, other than that, great campaign!

So, the last update was from 3 years ago. And I've been itching to update it.

Anyway, I'm saying this just in case. This will be my last campaign, though I will be updating this campaign in the future for bug fixes and all but I do not have plans for more. This update was thanks to my excessive free time for the last few months and I'm happy I was able to finish it in due time (before I started to be busy again) and made all the things I wanted to improve in this campaign. This campaign jumped from only 33 mb to 168 mb lulz. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did.

So, the last update was from 3 years ago. And I've been itching to update it.

Anyway, I'm saying this just in case. This will be my last campaign, though I will be updating this campaign in the future for bug fixes and all but I do not have plans for more. This update was thanks to my excessive free time for the last few months and I'm happy I was able to finish it in due time (before I started to be busy again) and made all the things I wanted to improve in this campaign. This campaign jumped from only 33 mb to 168 mb lulz. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did.

So far changelog looks good, now just to find a way how to play it :(

Have checked this out, I'm on chapter 3, and found four huge bugs :p
  1. Leveling Maiev's Blink to level 2 doesn't reduce the mana cost.

Played on normal difficulty, patch 1.31.1 too and the bugs found so far:
- On chapter 3 in the submap i lost lives to the mines and loaded a save, then i got a second Maiev and Anynda (lol), tried save before entering and the same happened. Also when i killed the boss the item i picked didn't transfer when i exited the map, had the same items on heroes before entering (none of the new items i picked in the submap transfered).
- On chapter 5 after the pumps are destroyed, when i killed the naga bases the objective didn't mark as complete. I think its because the purple and light blue crippled (not completely destroyed tho) the top naga base before the pumps were destroyed. I restarted mission, both naga bases survived, destroyed the pumps and the naga bases and the cutscene fired.
- On chapter 8 i killed the phoenix, the warlock and the mechanical dude, but the force wall is not removed and can't proceed to the boss fight. Can't go futher in the campaign due to that bug.

Can confirm that Anynda's Q sometimes breaks the game.

i'm sorry to say i can't play this version.when i start the prologue, i get a black screan and that's it. i have 1.27 version because a can't upgrade the game. it installs the reforged crap. anyway, i played your other version of the game and it was very cool. i think this one is also. i just want to say keep up what you're doing because abviously you are very talented, and please don't give up on wc3. it will be a real shame to lose a talented map maker like yourself who clearly loves what his doing. peace.

I'm yet to appreciate the update, cuz the difficulty is broken in chapter 2. I keep getting attacked endlessly on hard difficulty. I used the power of WHOSYOURDADDY to get through. Also, my forces are interfering with the final cut-scene of chapter 2.
On chapter 3, I can't trigger Anyndra and Maiev cut-scene to continue the mission (check the second picture). Am I unlucky or what?

in chapter three mission slay magtherdon is complete before i ever be near the black citadel and in chapter four all items in the inventory is removed

Have checked this out, I'm on chapter 3, and found four huge bugs :p
  1. Leveling Maiev's Blink to level 2 doesn't reduce the mana cost.

1. Yep, I forgot to change the Tooltip about Maiev's Blink.

- Yep, saving and loading another can break this map. I'll see to it.
- The cut scene should fire after you destroy the steam pumps and the naga bases.
- What order did you kill the bosses?

I appreciate the bug reports and I might update this soon for bug fixes.

Chapter 2 on hard just seems impossible, before 2.0 update i beat it by just not finishing the first main quest to build up a base, which caused the enemy to not attack, and not produce much units, and just finished it with starting units. my OCD only will only allow me to move on unless i beat it all on hard
 
This SUCKS i cant play the new version :( im on 1.27 cuz if i update my version my Warcraft 3 will crash

im a HUGE fan of this campaign and i rlly rlly want to try Ver2.0

In Chapter 3, I checked the triggers and it seems there is a chance that it will not fire the cut scene. So, you were unlucky but it will be fixed.

It simply freezes the game and you have to leave the program. Usually happens in the thick of battle and when other units are casting abilities.

After I checked, I saw (maybe) the error in the spell. I forgot to destroy the point variable.

Does campaign keep item ? Mine akama and maiev lost all the item in chapter 2

After I checked, it indeed will not be able to save items if you skipped the ending cinematic. I'll fix it.

I'm still stuck finding ways to fix the save/load thing in chapter 3. I will update this after I solve that.

stopped i think in mission in 5 im a big fan of this campaign tho the remake seems not ready yet ? lets see the alchemist quest to get him a potion is bugged the same mission the rangers q spell crashes the game next misson i lost all my items with the ranger maiev lvled till lvl 9 in the alchemist mission i dont know if that is supposed to happen ? i destroyed the orcs near me before getting to the zeplling and i had the indiscoverd quest as finished reaching the drenai and killing kargath's base automaticly wins the game and maiev and the ranger are missing in the cenematic that's what i noticed the ghosts in the first mission auto posses your units instead of waiting till they get low i think thats all will try to finish the rest of the campaign and tell you more

- first time destroyed the naga bases before any of the pumps, then them and the cut scene fired;
- second time tried to reproduce what happened on first play -> crippled the top base, only destroyed it's main, one production and killed all workers+units/hero before any pumps.The AI does not build any more,it had remaining production buildings tho. After that destroyed the pumps, then the naga bases - bottom base plus what was left of the top one, but the cut scene did not fire.

About the order of killing -> phoenix first, warlock second and mech last.

I replayed that mission, but this time chose the blood elves and changed the order of kill -> phoenix, mech, warlock and it worked. During the cut scene there were demon units left that were attacking my heroes.
 
The third chapter is broken when it comes to killing Magtheridon. Thought I wasn't going to post more until I've finished the Campaign, but found two huge bugs, so what can I do :p
  1. I completed chapter 3 without even entering the Hellfire Citadel, and without completing the main quest of killing Magtheridon.
  2. In chapter 4 after Maiev died I didn't loose the mission, Anydra died moments later, and I still didn't loose. The second time I lost Maiev, but I completed the chapter with Anyndra, with Maiev talking but not appearing in the last cutscene, lol
  3. Not really a bug, but in chapter 5 on easy, few minutes after the mission starts three enemy heroes attack together and annihilate either your Draenei or Lost One allies.
Two suggestions:
  • Separate the maps in chapter three. Make the main quest in chapter 3 to kill the orcs guarding the entrance to Hellfire, and after completing that mission and saving the Draenei. Make Hellfire chapter 3 part 2. This way it's a bit confusing and prone to bugs and crushes. Only if possible make them inherit the upgrades. And rename Coilfang to chapter 5 part 2.
  • Since Sereia is now a Paladin. Might be better to replace her with Tiras'alan. It would fit better with the lore, and his model looks more like a Paladin and would fit better imo.

After I checked, skipping the cutscene would not turn on the next trigger. I'll fix this.

I really do not know what's happening with the cache. They work fine in me.

That's weird with the Chapter 4 cache. I do not know what caused that.

I will only be able to fix things that I can fix. Problems regarding to using different patch and made the campaign broken that is something I cannot do. Please be reminded I've develop this in patch 1.30.2.11113.

So, far this is the fixes I've made.
- Fixed Anyndra's Q spell.
- Fixed Save/Load issue in Chapter 3 and the Bonus Map, where loading can give you another set of heroes.
- The Way gate to Kael in Chapter 8 should now work.
- Fixed the tooltip of Healing Surge. Should now provide that it also restores mana.
- Fixed the Tooltip of Blink Strike. Should now give the correct info.
- The ending cutscene should now work in Chapter 5 after completing the objectives.
- In Chapter 3, fixed the possibility of the 2nd cut scene to not fire at all.
- Fixed the game cache in Chapter 1 not properly working when the ending scene is skipped.
- Skyguard's ability fixed.
- Defeat conditions in Chapter 4 fixed.
- Skipping the Cabal cutscene near the end will now turn on the next trigger.

On chapter 9 upon engaging the blood elf units near the Pit Lord cage he summoned 4 infernals on top of me. Also after killing the demon hunter with army after the gate is open, the optional quest does not mark as complete.
Upon replay on that chapter the demon hunter does not spawn near the generator like he did in first play, he did spawn after the cut scene where he kills the Pit Lord and the optional quest still does not mark as complete.
Btw that part with the Pit Lord release can be tricky because of how beefed the demon hunter is, i ended up pulling him with hero where there were the two vile tormentors without killing him.
Also i had the Fangs of Vashj from chapter six putted on Sereia but the AI ended up selling it :(, the items i had on Akama his AI did not sell.

Hello, I want to share my problem with you. When I save the game and start loading it, I get two Maiev characters and two Anyndra characters. Also, when I'm going to use The first Anyndra spell, the game crashes. And the game crashes the same way with a boss battle. Also, when I log out of a game and try to log in with a campaign, my chapters don't open, even though I've played them.

What about just setting the AI to not build a shop? I know normally a shop is required for a unit or building, but you could change the requirements to remove the shop in order to build something. Im not a map maker so I dont know how viable it would be though

I thought they can't sell if it's undroppable and unsellable, it soft-lock the item from AI interferences. Interesting...

I made a map some years ago where some AI heroes had super-powerful undroppable items, but somehow they'd drop them for something as simple as a healing potion because their priority was 0. Really weird how the game can work sometimes.
 
why not make a different hero clone with 6 phat lewts?

currently at Chapter 3:
  • some grammar errors in cinematics, can be easily fixed and minor issue
  • when I chose quit campaign after finishing it, there's no next chapter
  • Magtheridon dungeon is nice and all
  • just realized at the end I was supposed to quickly claim the gold mine at the farthest left and then the weak enemy base at the farthest right

Yep, skipping it would not make the next chapter's button visible. Though it's fixed already, the update is yet to come.
