Yes it has. We've been having issues with the drives being the bottleneck where the CPU has to wait to get info from the disk.

Ahh! the pictures! they be gone!

strange things are happening on the hive.. or my computer..

some times, i get a 404 forbidden error, other times things like these 2 pictures happen.

most of the time there's at least one picture on the page that doesn't load. like even while i'm making this post i'm getting "insert link" as a "missing picture" icon.

Don't worry about this. I rebooted the server after making some optimizations, and that's why your connection timed out.

i don't know why but the images on HW do not display on my browser. wherever there is a picture or button on the site it shows me a red "X" and i can right click it and choose "show picture" it's verry annoying. i don't have this problem on other sites only here. i've tried with both internet explorer and firefox and i get the same result.

p.s. im using the latest version of IE.

any help ?

for me everything works fine
firefox 3.x
google chrome portable
internet explorer
opera portable
windows 7 x64
java + flash installed
and I don't get the bug any longer when the last picture of some section was shifted down by it's own height
was looking somehow like this:

but it's gone now
and I also didn't get any 404 errors or "not available right now" or stuff like that

I think that's because of the newest server that is a bit laggy and non-opptimised, so sometimes these icons/pictures/avatars just won't load.

Try refreshing the page.

But it might just as well be a glitch, though it happened a few times to many.

It could be a variety of issues.

It could be caused because a cgi script caused the server to fail or output an error message before it started producing valid HTML, or an incorrect path to a cgi/perl script.

It could also be caused by a problem with an .htaccess file, which can be remedied by renaming the .htaccess file, but this may cause problems, as there could be certain directives within the .htaccess file that are necessary for the website to run properly.

Or, as stated already, it could be the result of a DoS or DDoS attack on the hive.

Yes, all of those are possible, but I as 1st thought of the chance for DoS/DDoS because that happened some time ago.

Most likely this was caused because there were no fast-cgi children available to process your request at the moment it was made. I will increase the number of fast-cgi processes a bit. Let us know if this happens again.

I think I just caused the bug to happen. I'm going to repeat the experience and inform Ralle afterwards.

I must say that this IS getting a little annoying... in terms of speed, the Hive is getting closer to wc3search. I can't say what's more annoying: the errors or the slowness. But I am sure that, if it stays like this, we will start losing people.
