YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH,after chapter 4 i want chapters with heroes in the beginning everytime!:p
And speaking of chapter 4 i found a strange bug in it
bugs.png
A destructor killed 1 chaplain of Thanok's forces and they all just stood in place while the destructor was attacking them and after 20-30 seconds they began doing something again. What if the destructor is the divine one Rahandir is talking about?:D
And even more strange AI behavior, they finally break their standing there thing just to charge and attack the tower and then fall back before even hitting it!*Facepalm*
I don't know if i should laugh my ass of or cry or maybe both!

I doubt its a bug. That's actually how the AI works when it encounters a threat it cannot retaliate.

When I played that part, Thanok's forces retreated after chaplain was killed. The AI has some strange quirks like that, but it's never game-breaking. I'm pretty sure it's custom AI, so it's still far better then Blizzard's.

Anyway, it took me five hours, but I've finally managed to beat Chapter 4.
This Lord Brain has interesting spells. Too bad he came at the part in which he's not needed, at least on normal. Pink base was by far the easiest out of all on this chapter. It looks intimidating due to it's size, but once you get rid of their heroes, they can barely resist your attacks. Also do those damaged trebuchets have a purpose or are they just for decorative reasons?

They are purely decorative, since mayor Kent has mentioned they haven't repaired all of them.
However those trebuchets will play a HUGE role in next chapter. I'm not saying you have to get them necessarily, but they are too good to resist, especially combined with destructors

In chapter 5 you will have a chance to repair them,if you repair them all you will have a total of 12 trebuchets, this makes chapter 5 ridiculously easy for reasons you will see.:)

Yeah, I just started that chapter. I looks very promising so far. Also, I'm a villain in this chapter lol

Now that would spring a looot of hate.
Imagine if Thanok wants to hold the line with a small force just for everyone else to escape,we control van Durce and the golden guard, attack him and kill him, well that would make us hate this chapter a lot!Or we just have to survive for 30 minutes untill reinforcement arrive, yeah that would make us hate it too!Or the third and final option,we have the choice to kill van Durce, the person who screwed us this entire campaign or spare him to kill Genethas!

I meant chapter 9, and who exactly do we control in 9?

No idea. All we know for sure is that there will be Thanok´s boyz, Genethas, demons, orcs and depending on our choices one more enemy (I bet its the murlocs!).

What if the unknown soldiers from book 1 will make an appearance?

That is only possible if we have decided not to kill them in the first book.
Well, perhaps their undoing would spawn another enemy on our way, who knows? Shar never really gave any info about them

It was confirmed somewhere that those unknown soldiers were sent by the human emperor on a secret mission so it won't be them, but there is a very, very slight possibility if we didn't kill them they become demon slaves, but again there is a very little chance of this happening. If they would appear it would be as part of van Durce's golden guard.

Whats wrong with murlocs seeking revenge? Or more likely if we didnt break that M-O alliance thy would be pressed by orcs to fight us.

Maybe, but murlocs are more of an annoyiance than an actual threat, especially compared to van Durce and the Demons. The orcs are stronger than murlocs but they are still small fry compared to the other threats. The orcs are far more weakened than the humans.

Or are they?

Well, in the end of their respective books, I think the orcs ended up more weakened as they only had three chieftains left and the demons were slaughtering them, forcing them to retreat. The imperials had a civil war, but didn't lost many powerful commanders.

Prepare for the ultimate plot twist!Maybe they will repeat the master plan and not fail this time like they did while assaulting the imperial front line!

I always wanted to know if the knights of come Originated in the empire (where they brought overseas some years ago) or not?

Their story is mentioned in orc book, in the prelude of the assault on their citadel.
They are descendants of the kingdom defenders that broke orc´s first great invasion.

The Knights of Kome hail from the Kingdoms.
When the Orcs first arrived and launched their great invasions, being crushed by the Demons,
it was the Knights of Kome who hunted them afterwards.
The Orcs and the Knights of Kome hate each other even more than the normal human-orc-hatred.
And that "normal" hatred is already pretty extreme.

@LISBOAH and at @Championfighter25: The Orcs got crushed pretty hard, yes... The question is:
What could they have done afterwards?

Sure. The first time they had all clans and failed miserably, so obviously it will work now!:D
Just imagine if we destroy their armies completely and then they reveal the ultimate suprise:
The weedhunter legion, the ultimate murloc army that outnumbers the population of the entire continent several times and is a ally of the orcs!Yep definetely will happen!:D

Let me guess they decided to gather lumber from the dead mountains and they defeat the undead several times while doing it and then Aridon to get revenge he nearly destroys them, they sense a fountain of great power, drink from it,become omega powerful half demon-red orcs, easily overpower the undead and destroy Aridon. And then they become demon slaves and then they stop being demon slaves after killing the pit lord that corrupted them and become free again and do other stuff.OMG what did i just write?Anyway did i guess?:p

Tremble before the weedhunter empire! Of course after conquering the kingdoms, enslaving everyone, they will turn on their orc overlords. Use orcs for manual labour, dwarves for mining, humans as girls for everything and elves for ERP! The perfect ending! :D

The ultimate surpise would be to see Genethas's and Van durce's armies battle it out, only to realize that Aridon intends to raise both armies to fight the demons with.

1) The name of that Murloc faction stays. I chose it on purpose. :p
2) The grin is not spiteful, it is full of joy, I like reading speculations, no matter how right or wrong they are.
I admit, the grin is wider when they are wrong. ;)
3) I have no spoilers for Chapter Nine that I want to reveal at this point. :p

No weedsmoker tribe? Rastaweed tribe? :D

Considered Cluffhunter for a while, but since that's already the name of Amari's clan and I didn't
want to change that, so ... Meh.

Now the name is mostly just for amusement.
This gave me a genius idea! You need to make 20+ spin-off campaigns for the cliffhanger tribe, their story will never have a true ending since it always ends in cliffhanger, lots of people will be mad but it will be funny!Just consider it!:D

Orcs have new allies: murlocs, and I think trolls. In a "trailer" we saw Rangul (+ two more orcs) talk with trolls chieftains or something like, saying they have new allies.

And they are still dark elves (or something like that) who can attack us in next chapter.

I am going to modify the Prologue before the full release of the campaign.

Since the game (the game, not the campaign) seems to be a bit buggy when it comes to importing
the choices, I am going to add something to tell you whether or not the choices have been imported
successfully.
Yes, you already have something like that with our friend Largoth doing the choices for you,
but this will be different.

If the choices have not been imported successfully, you will be able to choose between a preset
(which will not be revealed to you at this point) and picking your own choices.
At the same time, however, if the import has been successful, I am going to make you choose between
using your old choices and picking new ones as well.

This will allow players to see the different choices affect the campaign without having to play the
First Book again.

The reason why this has not been like that since the first version of the demo is that some things
are not that easy to do (like having Lera survive Chapter Five) but I have now decided that this is
tedious.
I want you guys to see the difference without having to play the entire first campaign again - even
though I would still recommend that over just picking new choices.
That is still the best way to properly understand what happened.

This system is mostly for those who already played through all different choices in the First Books
and want to switch between them without having to play a campaign they already played several
times again.

In addition, this is the last day to send me questions for the Arkain Question Time.

Stay tuned!

@Colonel Aster I think this is all you and Blake8 need to know, because he started a off-topic discussion a staff member decided to delete the messages and give him and other members who also joined insufficient privilages to reply,so don't think that Shar did it.
This is something should have asked Shar on his profile page or in a conversation not here.
Anyway Shar something to share on the progress of chapter 9?Something about the orcs maybe?:)
