Probably protected against something like that. They are holy warriors after all. Hard to imagine how terrible the power must be to corrupt the emperor.

Because the only unit that could really harm Destructors with that armor, was another Destructor.
Other ranged units stood little chance.

While arrows and bolts would do little damage, fire arrows of the kingdom´s archers could put it ablaze.

I agree, 12 food is a lot, its not like you can mass produce destructors like you can with frost wyrms or chimeras

@Colonel Aster; ye you cant mass a unit that has a 12 food cost, even if the rest of your army takes up like 30 food you can only get 5 destructors

and are using the WarCraft 3 profile you used for the First Human Book, saving your progress?

Well that happened to me when I played the second book after playing any other campaign that wasn't the first human book. I can suggest you to try this: load from the last save of the last chapter of the first human book, complete it, and then immediately play the second human book.

Also a note on the destructor. In the mission where you get them you control 3 separate faction each 60 food, you make 4 destructors/faction to get 12 destructors, thats unstoppable armageddon.

I've found one minor bug in Chapter Four (First Human Book). When you skip the intro cutscene camera doesn't rotate back to bird-eye perspective. Nothing major, just thought I should mention it.

No, you are the only one to get attacked on purpose in that chapter.
Thanok only sends troops, but never gets attacked himself.
