Clever computer knows that if it destroys player´s base it wins. Evil computer. Just like all the "I know your base is there and right now there is nothing from the creator preventing me from acting like it!"


Actually, if I destroy Thanok´s base myself, can I use it without that new base being attacked?

It doesn't matter where your base is, the AI will keep attacking you.

No, but you lose an allied force and gain not even a gold mine for it.
You can do it, if you want, without losing, but it really doesn't help you at all.

Few pages too late for that. I may have a few ideas on how to freshen the chapters tho. Thanok spawns attack waves periodically yes? Maybe some option to ask him to attack some specific point, to lure defenders away from their base or into a trap.

I used that option in the minimap to alert him, nothing happened.

Thanok wasn't a great help. After destroying some buildings, his forces occasionaly retreated to their base.

How about from behind Thanok's base Demon gates and portals spawn,overwhelm the base,the demons completely ignore Toran's capital and the undead and just attack you,while the blue undead also attacks you,while the traitors attack you,while at the same time Aridon comes with his entire army to destroy just you, and yes he completely ignores the demons.While we are at it make Progaderas return to burn away your dreams of completing this chapter.Then when you think you are done with this chapter and you are amazed you survived van Durce and Retka and the human emperor Theodor the second come with they're armies to make you angry german kid version 2.0!
DO IT SHAR MAKE THE PLAYER HAPPY!

Anyway when you compare stats of Elites with Executors, I think that 7 food is a butt too much. Would suggest 6 food and increasing price in wood and gold.

There hasn't been done much on Chapter Nine yet due to the fact that the chapter requires -
just like the QWER system for all abilities, units, buildings and upgrades, which has been finished
today - much additional object data.
The main reason for this requirement are the Orcs, plain and simple. You might ask "Why do
they get so much work, they are hardly important and only screwed things up!".
Well, I say, times have changed dramatically. Many things have happened to the clans while
Gardon was on his fall from and rise to power. These things will affect their race a lot, both
story- and gameplaywise.
Such things require work and time, but they will make their race even more amazing - both as
enemies and as playable race in their own book.

I know what you mean,it's like a history lesson,a map can make it a lot more interesting,I remember Kasrkin or Shar saying they did an Arkain world map,but it was very old and had no similarities to the current Arkain world,so yeah as Shar said wait till the second books are finished and you will get your map!

We have 7 human kingdoms:Rengar, Lor, Kerrel, Pyrru,Isalmur,Toran and Salria.We have 1 elven kingdom,1 dwarven kingdom,a few duchies that we don't know the names about,the void which is like the demon kingdom and the dead mountains!(aka the undead's territory)
Now for the current situation!
We have 4 human kingdoms:Rengar,Kerrel,Gardon's kingdom and Salria.We still have an elven and dwarven kingdom and i think there are still a few duchies that are unconquered.Lor,Isalmur and the Void are part of the demons territory and we still have the dead mountains!(aka again undead territory)
You can correct me if im wrong!

Yeah but the dwarven kingdom may be comprised of multiple clans. Cause, you know, we dont have "Dwarven kingdom army", we have "Hammerfall dwarves".

A mode inspired by my words and actions during the first books' testing when I still tested all of the missions on hard in order to get my seal of approval. If hard was too easy then we'd have to go even further.

Unfortunately I was unable to continue this trend of testing about halfway through the undead book. I was never that great at playing undead even in melee and after repeated attempts on a certain mission I eventually gave up.
