Tbh you dont have to much to hate him for.Yeah he is a dirty bastard,yeah he backstabbed you but those type of scumbags are really common during wartimes,tbh he might have had his reasons (even being powerhungry) for what he did,that does not mean it wont bring me joy to snap him in two.

The Elves have only cared for themselves in the past, yes. As you might remember from the
First Human Book, our good Salana was extremely unhappy about this.
Look on the bright side, now the Elves will be put to some use, with a more competent queen
like her.

@DevZ: They needed to get a nerf, they were they too powerful in their old version.
It's not like I didn't want them to be useful or strong - else I wouldn't have created them - but
they were too strong. Same for Greywolves.
One of the former updates adressed your points, though:

Version 0.44

- Following changes have been made to the Destructor unit:
* Increased building and repair time from 60 to 75 seconds
* Increased training and repair cost from 350/90 to 375/120
* Increased cooldown for attacks from 2.30 to 3.00
* Increased unit damage from 51-105/52-115/53-125/54-135 to 72-142/73-153/74-164/75-175
* No changes to the food cost
- Following changes have been made to the Destructor upgrade Improved Aiming:
* Increased upgrade cost from 250/200 to 300/200
* The upgrade now also increases the unit damage by 5

As far as I am concerned, they are a lot more powerful now.

The worst thing about all of this is that they could have already won if the golden guard listened to Gardon and did something!Combine this with Brian's unknown powers and every demon and legion commander would be dead by now.
