Spoiler: My theory about Brian after he and his family's dissapearance

It is possible Brian and his entire family was taken by this master of shadow and killed.Brian may have been revived by Aridon and with his help defeated the master of shadow and absorb part of his power just like you said,and i say defeat not destroy.Maybe Aridon was unhappy with Brian taking this kind of power instead of serving him so he refers to him as an ''old friend''.Brian may aswell have left Aridon after that and i know you will say that Aridon should sense him,but Brian may have severed his connection to Aridon by taking the shadow power,it probably turned his from an undead to an unholy creature.After all of this Brian could not return to the empire in his new state and decided to just walk in the shadows for centuries and tutor Gardon at some point.
And i know there may be people who say that Aridon could have just killed him,but as the end cutscene of chapter 7 showed us Brian isn't as easy to kill as we thought.
Again this is just a theory and speculation!

I tried to evaluate the second flashback scene and found it to be quite similar except the dialogues for most part, which is the key of distortions. Also, just a note, the trailer has a broken Aedale's model in the first flashback. I presume it was for her pre-corrupted state?

Yeah, fixed it, working version is attached to the post now.

That's an annoying import bug, everything runs fine until you make the mistake to test without
saving the map first.
It reduces the file size of all imported files to 0 - making them nonexistant, therefore.
I am suprised that it only affected a few files this time.
Actually, I am surprised it occured at all, I kept saving before testing. Nevermind.

Anyway, fixed.

I viewed the cinematic multiple times and im the only one i guess,but i do not trust anything that happened in it.I do not believe Shar would give such spoilers just like that,there must be a catch in all of this.Untill i don't see it officially in the campaign i can trust this cinematic as much as i trust the "fate of Bloodclaw" cinematic.Don't hate me on this,it's just an opinion!

Maybe it is like a "Fight in the center of the mind" where Aedale's light side (represented by her sister) and dark side (represented by Lisara) are struggling to dominate her.
The light side may be either trying to tell the truth or maybe Aedale's subconscious is on denial about her father being a jerk.

I don't think Cora has the power to enter Aedale's mind,she will need someone with knowedge how to do this,she is a just a water mage after all.

I know that Illidan sort of does stupid things @Boriss .Gardon sort of does stupid thing too you know(sacrificing an entire village,using the power of demons,among other things).
That was just a comparison.

Illidan did most of those things to prove himself. Plus, he lacked communication skills. His plan of temporarily joining the Legion in order to know its secrets was good, but the problem was that he didn't told anyone about it! He also didn't bother telling that he was planning to use the Eye of Sargeras to destroy the Lich King!

I don't like these campaigns because of the war, but because of the plot. Conspiracies, ancient entities manipulating the fates of nations, what we thought to be set in stone turns out to be a lie, each chapter fills us with questions and each answer just gives more questions. A masterpiece!
