Yeah i bet the part where orcs massacred his army snd then demons embarred him by destoying the last of his defenses with no resistence isn't gonna look good on his achievement chart.
Add that he won't return even as an undead and you got a triple embarrasment. And then van Durce took his place and now Rath carries his head on a pike... Man he must have really pissed off a behind the scenes director or producer. Well i hope he has learned his lesson.

His Sin of Wrath must have become invincible right before he died!
Had Largoth managed to take it out of Cleavehand's mind, he could have overthrown both Aridon and the Dark Entity easily!:D

And let's not forget we've discussed everything there is for now so untill news or sneak peeks are uploaded there is nothing else to discuss. Im sure he will be back soon. In the meantime Boriss start writing that fanfic you have always dreamed of doing!

I am still here, just busy.
Finishing the campaign this year is pretty much off the table, though, unless several miracles happen.

When you quit for the first time I stopped playing W3 for a long time. Then I install it again and here you were back. Dont rule miracles out so easily. Btw you know we want you to be fine in real life as much as in modder´s life. So wish you luck! Hope troubles go away soon.

Hi! @Shar Dundred ,
Are there going to be major updates for your three finished campaigns, or are they just gonna be for fixing possible errors and glitches?
I'm asking because i plan to play them on highest difficulty, and only if they are polished completely.

There are going to be major updates that will both polish the gameplay and fix any remaining bugs in the first books, but they won't happen at least untill the second human book is finished.

@Azarus1: @Championfighter25 is not my official spokesman, but he is a user who reads and remembers
all of the things I have mentioned in the past (or at least a hell lot of them) and shares them
with others.
Should what he says no longer be accurate, I will correct his statements, but most of the time
they are since taken directly from posts of mine - or from Kasrkin. =)
We never asked him to do any of this, but he is doing it regardless and we are thankful for him
doing that out of good will.
And no, he is not wearing one of Gardon's amulets.... I think...

ANYWAY
You want spoilers? You get spoilers. Major ones. Open at your own peril, discuss only in spoiler tags.
Chapter Ten - The Aid
You will be playing as the Dwarves and fight some threats neither human nor demonic.
The greenskins are pillaging the dwarven realm and a new enemy, led by Progaderas the Smoking,
has risen from the deep.
You will be offered assistance.... for a prize that is not gold. And no, no lumber either.

Chapter Eleven - The Desire
You wanna punch Renald van Durce in the face? Well, here you go!
Keep in mind that the Golden Guard still has massive numbers - you people underestimated their
numbers severly when discussing their fate here!
In addition, they are working on portals to teleport forces directy from the other continent to Arkain.
Also, van Durce himself will be even more powerful in this mission than he was in Chapter Nine.
Your goal will be to take the cannon and slaughter van Durce, obviously.
If you made a right choice long, long ago, you might get help from an old friend.
If you made a wrong choice not too long ago, you might face your worst nightmare.

Chapter Twelve - The Slaughter
This is a big defense mission - no, not timed.
You have to defend the cannon against all enemies - Demons, Orcs, Rahandir's Undead...
At the same time, you have the cannon and can use it against your enemies - takes a long time to use, though!

Shar you might be a tyrant, but a benevolent one; a thing I like about you is that there is no timed missions in your campaign, those can be such a pain

Clearly it is the allegiance of the dwarves to Gardon's kingdom or at least access to their technology.

Chapter Eleven - The Desire
You wanna punch Renald van Durce in the face? Well, here you go!

What are the Golden Guard made of? Asians?:D (I hope this is not racist)

So they switched from retreating to sending more forces just to defend a cannon they just built?
Not a great plan.

I wonder who is the old friend.

Chapter Twelve - The Slaughter
This is a big defense mission - no, not timed.
You have to defend the cannon against all enemies - Demons, Orcs, Rahandir's Undead...
At the same time, you have the cannon and can use it against your enemies - takes a long time to use, though!

So if it is not timed, it will be until all enemies are dead, right?

So Rahandir still opposes the living unlike Sapphira. He must seek the cannon for himself (or for Aridon)

This reminds me of the final mission of Wings of Liberty campaign in Starcraft II. Having a powerful weapon but with long cooldown while we face overwhelming forces.

@Championfighter25 ;I don't care much about the orc book, but I am looking forward to playing as lord Edoarus and the Bone lords

I don't think there is anyone who is interested in playing the orc book. :D

But yeah controlling Sir Edoarus and the Bone Lords will be interesting.
Plus, commanding the Dark Elves and their techtree will be exciting.

Just watch as the orcs rise from the depths of eternal failure and become the strongest federation and race ever known in the Arkain world, at least in their book. In the others i don't see them succeed though.

The main reason it might be interesting playing the orc book is because we will be capable of using other races besides the orcs. Thus, like sugar or salt in water, the dissapointment is dissolved and its concentration is lowered:D

It doesn't matter. Im still gonna spam wind riders and shamans no matter what.
Except if we don't get elite wind riders and elite shamans then im gonna spam them. :D

What about.... dragon riders? ;)

What I meant that unlike the orc characters, the characters from the other races might prove to be interesting and actually understand the concept of strategy.:)
There will also be some new, interesting orc characters that are less one-sided. :p
One has already been teasered loooooooooong ago.

And dragons? Or the War Zeppelins you already encountered?
:p

I wonder if these dragons are stronger than the ones allied with Gardon. Very unlikely.

With these new races joining and new units avaiable, the orcs perharps can finnaly come up with new strategies besides frontal assaults until they manage to crush defenses.
But quoting Largoth, "knowing the simple mind of the green skins, it's most unlikely".

Are there any notable demon characters that are leading the demon race? all we heard are some few minor charachters "pitlords". All we heard so far our heroes saying "demons" the whole time. I mean isn't there something like the "villain"? someone with great power and evil that actually lead the demons?

The supreme leaders of the legions are dreadlords.

However the legions are politically independent from each other. There is no central leader commanding all legions.

AQT:
102) Who is the leader of the Demon Legions?
The Legions have had no single master since the death of the Demon God.
Every legion is being led by its most powerful dreadlord.
Kersidar is the leader of the Souleater Legion, Ornasion used to be the leader of the Blooddrinker Legion and Erganoth is the leader of the Darkblade Legion.
There are far more legions and leaders, ofc.
In the Demons' eternal struggle for power, the Blooddrinker Legion managed to become the most powerful legion by sheer force, led by Ornasion. The Souleater Legion was close behind, however it didn't want to risk a war with the Blooddrinker Legion and therefore accepted them as the leaders of the invasion force.
Now that Ornasion has been defeated, Kersidar and his Souleater Legion are in charge.

Hopefully he'll make the 2nd book better, but I still prefer the 2 other races over the orcs,

Shar is awesome for continuing the 2nd books, when he quit the 2nd time I thought that was it for good, but our brilliant tyrant did not forget his fans and decided to finish his magnificent creation

I'm also happy that he changed his mind about giving up. It would be a great pity if he had given up his wonderful world that he created, because its very sad when such big campaigns get abandoned

"people", not persons :D
So, we talking bout that diamond that our salty Merlon gave to the now general of Gardon´s armies?
Time to revert my choice before Gardon makes Merlon win a naval battle with only transport ships while the enemies have doom barges as punishment.
*get's a shiver down my spine*
I surely don't want to suffer through that.

How are the first human book and the second human book related? I don't quite understand...
When i started the second book demo, the dreadlord said something like "what have we here? someone who skipped the first book!!" and i was really surprised. I recently deleted the first human book, and downloaded it again to lose progress, because i wanna play it again, and do the choices that I didn't do. So how are they related?

and what will happen if i didn't save Aedele in chapter three "payback"? what will also happen if I didn't consume the shard later on?
It says you can control the fate of Arkain in the description, but those choices seems to not affect the storyline at all..

At the start of the second human book, Aadele is already a demoness and evil.

The 2nd book sadly has issues when importing and saving the choices you made. This issue will be fixed in the future.

and what will happen if i didn't save Aedele in chapter three "payback"?
She will complain how she was treated and tortured while inside the prison and that's it.

what will also happen if I didn't consume the shard later on?
She will get a special chapter based around her, that being chapter 13 and i think the choices you make to or not to consume the shard will have an effect there.

It says you can control the fate of Arkain in the description, but those choices seems to not affect the storyline at all..
They aren't exactly meant to make big differences. Some dialogue changes and gameplay changes on certain chapters. But maybe in the future books we can expect choices to have a bigger meaning.

No i only said they don't make as big of a difference as you expect them to do, they still make some difference, but not on the very large scale of things. Try the other ones if you'd like, because as i said im sure there will be choices with a much, much bigger impact in the future. Also it's said that some of the choices you will make are neither 100% right or 100% wrong so you can try and experiment as you wish.

Plus some choices won't change a thing.

I remember in a earlier version van Durce scolded you in the beginning of the 2nd book that they were imperial soldier sent on a secret mission and you should't have killed them, but that was removed a long, long time ago. Not that it made that big of a diffence though, but the choice at least had a small meaning. And for the others you are right.

Yeah. Burn it to the ground and relish on the fact you made van Durce pissed. If you are screwed anyway you might as well have some fun:D
