"With pleasure" some elder British separated from the crowd and started twisting the shadows towards the aid of the British "Don't resist, dear. We have been using your power since the dawn of this planet. How could this noobies even start too think of controlling you? how do you think we survived the darkness?"
"Geomancers, rise our ships again!" the elder spoke
"Surely!" A group of elder British again responded, and started to rise the ships again, and avoiding other ships to get sunken
"Cast spells, cut through them! We shall not fall, the great Khan and the British navy are UNBEATABLE!" Everlast screamed
More golems were summoned too quickly keep up, as well as the British soldier started to use complex flux magic (mix of earth and shadow magic)
"Dear, it would seem you underestimated my children" the voice of Alastorn said, mocking darkness "Our children. We breed them together, remember?. Why, of all places, would you be hostile too children of you and I? I though we had something special..." the voice finished in a sad tone

Tuli's forces (3 regiments )headed southwest with artillery trudging along. Zeli's forces moved north. Tuli has more artillery but Zeli has the Baneblade tank and the Leman Russes. They moved in the cover of the forests casually step by step.
(For Zeli forces)

These force would eventually arrive at the edge of the forest and the borders of the ghost faction, named commonly as "muttonheads" by the Triads.
Once they exit the forest, there is a wide plain in front of them. There in the open, three Hyenas flying a white flag stands. Because of possibilities, the crew may all be inside the vehicles.

*Beep*2x *Long Beep*1x - The middle Hyena sounded. "We come in peace!" A voice of a Devourer said from a loudspeaker attached to the Hyena. Until the coming force responds, the Hyenas' did not move.

MGS-D1 received a phone-call from their operator. They picked up the phone and said,
"What's going on?", MGS-D1 replied.
"This is bad captain. According to our satelite, there's a enemy forces heading towards to our base! They also about to heading towards to one of our outpost.", the operator replied.
"What?!", MGS-D1 exclaimed. "Warn our outpost about this and prepare our army fast! We must not let the princess be in this situation!".
"Roger that captain.", the operator replied.

MGS-D1 looked at Emeraldia for awhile, seeing her having fun with the flowers.
They mumbled themselves, saying, "She will be in danger if they arrived.. Metal... Where the heck are you now?"

Anyway, MGS-D1 is genderless so they will be referred as "They" and "Them".

"I doubt I'll have much use for the spells. Regardless, I shall be the tip of Your spear of vengeance and I will tear down Your enemies on this world and any other.

Vex turned around and looked at her queen over her shoulder. And started to surge with lightning.

The Dragonqueen nodded in approval, with her showing a big grin as she listened. "How lovely~~ And this spell is simple and easy, with your potential and talent, I'm sure you can learn Shadow Cure within minutes.."

"I'm lightning, the rain transformed. Let me earn my place by Your side."
"Right now, we have two problems that needs to be dealt with. You can choose to investigate the northwest (from here) and see what the Muttonheads are up to, or go to the south and deal with a bunch of golems and uncultured apes."

She patted Vex's head, let out a smile and then finished with a motivational, soft and warm tone, "I know you can do it. Yes, you can, especially with my other minions out there."

"Betray? You have no fuckin' idea what are you talking about. The tiny Earthlings and Shadows from Terra are the one and the only true children of me! My daughter was born in my embrace!" Mistress Darkness replied hastily and angrily, "Stop fighting and I'll consider!"

"With pleasure" some elder British separated from the crowd and started twisting the shadows towards the aid of the British "Don't resist, dear. "Noobies? You're the only true noobies here, dumbasses!" a massive wave of opposing current appeared working against the British shadowmancers, the great frictions have caused some lightning bolts and tesla bolts flying around, zapping anyone and bouncing like crazy.

Darkness of course wouldn't neglect her fellow underlings, "Stay away from the lightning tesla!"
The Triads of course obeyed and began dodging the thunderbolts while continuing to fire on the move. The Guardsmen have switched to all bullets, to avoid creating more thunderstorms and to deal more damage onto the British. Half of the Rocketsmen fired straight onto the Golems' ugly face and provided cover of another half of the Rocketsmen, who would be stationary as they lock their aiming lasers onto the Golems, before a massive, continuous wave of missiles was launched towards the Golems

"Dear, it would seem you underestimated my children" the voice of Alastorn said, mocking darkness "Our children. We breed them together, remember?. Why, of all places, would you be hostile too children of you and I? I though we had something special..." the voice finished in a sad tone

"Really, motherfucker?" Darkness replied in a harshly and mockingly tone, "I guess you have too much of your fantasy, poser. I wouldn't ever mess with a bitch like you, so-called soul of Alastorn!"

A moment later, Darkness calmed down but still bitter about this, "I'll give you a deal -- let the two of us, and our children live in peace. Okay?"

Tuli's forces started digging trenches, stringing barbed wire around while they set up their artillery. Once the artillery(Basiliks) are in position, they would fire in volleys. The first 5 will fire followed by the second five, the third five and the fourth before reloading. Also trench mortars unleash a barrage of mortar shells on the outpost.(firing at an outpost)

A few British get hit by the tesla lightnings as they are not quick enough to dodge them. The shadowmancers and geomancers use their magic too protect themselves and the others though. Many golems were lot too. (-2 warrior mage British, -8 golems)
"Well, you said it yourself. Tiny shadows. Here in Alastorn, shadows are everywhere. They don't belong too you, shadow goddess of Terra... they belong to a much darker and sinister monster. So powerful was he that we banished him. That's why you can control HIS shadows" the elder said calmly
"Stop the fight now!" Alastorn soul said "What prize must we pay for this ´´friendship´´, little shadow from Terra?" she them sighted "if only my husband hadn't become such cruel and vile creature, I would have never been forced too leave the darkness off this planet free for invaders to use... They way you act and speak means you are not the shadow of this world, but you are just the voice and mind of another shadow that is merely using the body of my dear" Alastorn started loosing control "SO. WHAT SHALL BE THE PRICE, THIEF?"

The earth trembles and Mistress Darkness of Terra was cut off. "What the fuck is this bullshit? You crazy, bitch? Well, YOU should be glad that your husband was gone! I am everywhere, I am the One Shadow, I am True Darkness, that's the truth."

The Triads did get dizzy as the earth shook in chaos. But as of now, they only suffered light injuries from the earthquake. The trembling earth did slow down the Triads though. However, since they're slowed down, the Tesla bolts did hit many of the Triads, greatly reducing their numbers. But the Shadowspawns, being made of Shadows, were somewhat resistant to the massive shock of the earth and still were able to dodge and evade the tesla bolts. "I asked for peace, and now you call me a fucking Thief? And are going to war? I thought you're a kind girl, man, you poser! We don't want our kids to be in danger, is it?"

Soon, entangling roots of shadows rose from the ships' platforms and soon gripped the British like burning, corrosive hands.
"Oh, as I was speaking, another force is coming for you guys soon. Better surrender your asses and enslave yourselves to my service, or be slaughtered!"

Mistress Darkness would then let out an evil laughter that could be heard all over the surface of Alastorn. "I am Darkness... you will obey!"

As Vex started to walk away from the room one last thing crossed her mind.
"And please, mam. I would ask you not to treat me like a child."
She finished and left.

"Oh, no problem. But I have a tendency to... never mind, I will try my best."
Goh Yuet-yin became a bit suspicious. Firstly, she was introduced by Banehallow. And second, why at first Vex kiss her hand, bow like a slave but then asking her not to treat her like a child? A child? What have she done? Also, Banehallow asked if he could accompany her or not, and how Banehallow reacted only add a shroud of mystery to the case...

Translation

The outposts dispatched a large army to takedown the Shadowridge quickly.

The unamed turrets (Anti-Tank / Anti-Infantry / Anti-Air) at the outpost aid their troops by firing their projectile into the artilieries in very far range, possibly destroying them per shot.

You leave our planet now, and I don't move towards the nearest sun. Capiche?"

"It would seem the era of the great invasion has started... as it was foretold so long ago even I forgot... or tried to forget it..." she them directed herself into the British "I am sorry, my children. In order too defeat all this treats... HE must be... RELEASED..."
Suddenly all British stop and start too tremble. The shadowmancers and geomancers stop casting. Even the golems stop
Silence echoes among the defenders and native of Alastorn. The news of the war have reached every clan, every village.
Then...
"Do, what must be done, mother. We will deal with him, latter. Just like old times. We promise" the elder said
"Yes. No matter the cost, we will triumph both to the invaders and him. The great Khan watches all, and he knows our cause is for you. He shall give us strength" Everlast said
"It is indeed time to release you... BISMARK..." Alastorn said before it voice faded
Nothing seem to happen for a while. The fight restarted until...
The sky was covered in even more darkness... even the lights of distant stars was extinguished. Only the lights of the British magic and their enemies was there too illuminate the battlefield. A Whisper echoed through the earth, through the air, through the living, filling them with despair, fear. From the depts a crash could be heard coming closer. Then, then the surface broke not far away, like a volcano, lave emerged, and when the smoke and lava was clear... HE Spoke
"After all this time... who would think that it would be you who release me... Alastorn" the voice said "I... BISMARK... force of the darkness... AM FREE!" he screamed
His voice called for the shadows, and the shadows obeid him. He sensed Terra's shadow goddess. He grabe her as though she was just a piece of shadow like any other.
"What's this joke? did you try too replace me, Alastorn?" Bismark said amused

Due too the power released, all summoned creatures get destroyed (-33 golems for me)

Saturday, 8 February 2020 CE 土曜日，中華復興一〇九年二月八日 Sigh. Since the last few days, tensions have been increasing. Things are looking pretty grim for our Obsidian Kongsi, and I can see the tides of war coming against us. Muttonheads from the northeast. Cyborgs from the southwest. And now, the earth revolted and went crazy against us. It all began, with the deaths of four innocent little Shadowhounds. Wait, is it really the beginning of our decline? I don't think so. I think it began, ever since the Federation of Malaysia fell and the Duchy of Nanyang rose to power. Unlike the good ol' Terran British and Malaysian government, this new Prussia of the East was quite strict. These wannabes - being both bananas and Chinese nationalists - are cunning as Bismarck and difficult like Fegelein as ever. What's even worse for us is, this Duchy of Nanyang is in a personal union with the Electorate of Cantonia! And with the arrival of the Prestigious Hornbill, our glorious Obsidian Kongsi has went into a decline. Things are getting downer as we speak. Many of the spineless, backstabbing commoners left us to our deaths, in favor of the now-turned-king Lam--- Hey, what the fuck is happ--

Even the Mistress Darkness herself felt that something has gone wrong. She remained silent despite not being a native of Alastorn. Clearly, she knew something nasty was about to be released.

"It is indeed time to release you... BISMARK..." Alastorn said before it voice faded
Nothing seem to happen for a while. The fight restarted until...

Mistress Darkness ended up giggling and chuckling. "What?! Seriously? All the tension and you're going to release a dead German chancellor from the ashes? He's nothing but Otto von Bismar-- what? More darkness?"

The sky was covered in even more darkness... even the lights of distant stars was extinguished. Only the lights of the British magic and their enemies was there too illuminate the battlefield. "D... damn... now the two Darknesses are clashing! Oh, shit, tesla bolts!"

As the force of Purple Darkness and another unknown force of Black Darkness clashed, the entire skies soon turned into a massive thunderstorm, with tesla bolts and lightning balls appearing in the air as a result of the intense friction......

A Whisper echoed through the earth, through the air, through the living, filling them with despair, fear.
Even the Dragonqueen of the Obsidian Kongsi felt her heart shivering in fear. Lim Chee Wah couldn't help but cry and rush to Goh Yuet-yin. They hugged each other tightly, with all the Triads around the Harkdragon Citadel gathered in the throne room and they sticked themselves closely.

From the depths a crash could be heard coming closer. Then, then the surface broke not far away, like a volcano, lave emerged, and when the smoke and lava was clear... HE Spoke
"After all this time... who would think that it would be you who release me... Alastorn" the voice said "I... BISMARK... force of the darkness... AM FREE!" he screamed
His voice called for the shadows, and the shadows obeid him. He sensed Terra's shadow goddess. He grabbed her as though she was just a piece of shadow like any other.

Unfortunately, all he grabbed was just a piece of her meat. And as a result, the friction resulted in a huge tesla bolt pushing both Shadow Deities apart from each other."Get your filthy hands of me, Blackrock! Viola is not yours, go away!"

The Missiles shot would be fired upon by Flak AAs near the trenches. Even if the missiles hit the artillery, one shot would not be able to bring down the basilik artilleries due to their armor.
The Dispatched troops would find miles of barbed wire while a killing barrage of mortar fire would raid down. The Shadowridge Armeggedon Legionnaires and Cadian Shocktroopers were hidden in trenches and fired upon the approaching enemies with their lasguns, plasma cannons and Heavy MGs.

The army became aggressive than before. The BC.T1s took down the barbed wire by penetrating through them, allowing the army to walk through. The Goliaths protected the infantries by taking the enemies' projectiles to last the army even longer as the enemies' heavy weaponry rendered useless against it. And finally, the Anti-Infantry turrets had changed a new target as they're now attacking the infantries, giving them a hard time to both cover and attacking the army.

The Mortars put their shells in high trajectory and attacked the enemies hidding behind the Goliath. The Infantry being in trenches and protected by FlakAAs were even harder as the projectiles would have a hard time trying to fire inside the trenches since if landing just on the edge of the trenches would not be enough. If the enemies get closer, they would start using flamethrowers, toxic gas[All troops have gas masks]and ready for close combat putting on bayonets and activating their chainswords and axes.

Mistress have a change of plans with you, today we'll be heading northwest and confront the Muttonheads who call themselves as the Renegade's Covenant"

The nerdy guy lifted his head from the book. Saliva came out of his mouth and he rubbed his eyes softly, before looking at the pool of saliva on his book and sighed. "Whew... just a nightmare anyways. Guess this stress and lack of sleep really did something to my heart."

"Damn, now my diary got a pool of my saliva. Hmm, never mind Mistress taught me some magics, let's see..."

Sunday, 9 February 2020 CE 日曜日，中華復興一〇九年二月九日 _______________ Oh, never mind. I had fallen asleep, guess I must be overworking these days ever since things are getting downer for us. Well, I had a horrifying nightmare. I dreamt of a giant war between the Guardian of Alastorn and the Darkness of Nowhere. These two kept hurling their minions and magics at each other's face, until Alastorn got bored and mad at the same time. I don't know why, she just went crazy and released the ultimate evil upon us... Bismarck. And thunderstorms happened as darkness clashed with itself. There seemed to be patches of purple and black-- Wait, Bismarck? Otto von Bismarck? Erm, yep, as far as I see, that ultimate evil look almost exactly like his namesake, plus a heavy presence of Black darkness. Is this a coincidence? I think not. We were already declining ever since the new Prussia rose in the East. There are actually two types of Shadows we have here, one is our familar and lovely Viola Shadows, and another one is the horrifying Blackrock Shadows. I'm not sure why I get that but I suddenly got this knowledge. Perhaps this has something to do with the nightmare? Is the nightmare telling me something? Is my heart getting into a struggle? Do I need to take a break with Mistress? Are we facing danger? A dream can signify countless possibilities and meanings, it can be a spiritual message, a vision or just to tell you your brain is seriously fucked up. But we may never know until time tells. Time will tell, sooner or later, time will tell...

He stands up and takes he's swords, he puts the holy one on his back and keeps the dark one in his left hands. As they aimed their guns at her, he went and stood in front of her and went into a defensive stand. You could also see the energy of the Dark blade flowing around the blade and up to his arms (purple). He was clearly not willing to let anyone hurt her, he has a very special connection with her. He looked them straight in the eyes and says with a powerful voice, that words could be felt deep inside everyone
"I dont want to hurt you, but NO ONE TOUCHES HER! I will act if you try anything. I made a pack with your Queen not you."
He is clearly pissed that they aimed their gun at her. He was not going to give up without a fight anyway, seemingly she was way to important for him and her life matters a lot to him. He really would not have went out a defensive stand in till they lowered their guns...

Several infantries has been lost from the mortars. As their strategy changed, the infantries ran into the trenchs to cover themselves while the Goliath and BC.T1 stays above ground. Even the Goliaths and BC.T1s were covered in flame by the flamethrower and the air is covered in toxic gas, they aren't being affected to it(Because they're were obviously robots).

The Goliaths knocked the enemies up into the air with the use of its piston-punch and proceed destroying the mortars while the BC.T1s used their machine-gun, ripping the nearby enemies to pieces.

Vex and the troops can witness three suspiciously quiet vehicles in a strangely mist along with a large Shadowridge battalion there, with the two glaring at each other.

"The Muttonheads must be playing a game of trickery, sadly our allies got fooled."
"Let's see..." the Shadowmancers made use of their True Sight, looking for any hidden Muttonheads before proceeding.

The Triads slightly lowered their guns, but still keeping high on alert just in case. If the monk lies and says it was the Renegade's Covenant, there will be no drama and the Triads would just party together with all the others.

But if he answered truthfully, or refuse to answer, then they will try to arrest the woman. And the monk too if he insists.

He saw that they lowered their weapons so he reduced his defense stands. He told them in a calm voice
"I honestly dont know, I cant put the blame on others without knowing the truth. I heard the explosion and went to investigate, but later on wondered off the road and ended up at this shack. I dont know if she has done it or not. I think it will be better to ask her.."
He still stands in front of her for if they raise their guns again, so that he would be in the way. He looks at her and awaits her respond. He looked back an at the men to see if they have raised their guns again but they did not, so he looked at her again ...

Goh Yuet-yin decided to make the Black-Knight Corps a surprise. And as a revenge.
She contacted the Shadowridges, saying, "I will be sending some Shadowmancers, Shadow Tanks and Shadow Mammoths to aid you in the fight against the damn cyborgs. They will flank the robots from the sides and ambush from behind, stay strong!"

Shadowmancers and Shadow Tanks were being released to the southwest, moving quietly and to make things worse, invisible to the naked eyes even while moving. The only thing that can be seen are moving Shadowhounds, but they do stop once in awhile for a rest. Whenever a Shadowhound stops, it will blend in the dark.

For the Shadow Mammoths, they can be heard from a distance, the earth trembled and footprints everywhere as they marched along. However, their bodies cannot be seen. The Shadow Mammoths did take a different route from the rest, though, to avoid alerting the cyborgs about the Shadowmancers and Shadow Tanks.

P.s Whats a piston punch?

The infrantries got within 3 meters of the trenches when the Legionnaires unpacked their flamethrowers and proceed to make roasted humans! If any survives and tries to come again. They will be met with a frenzied horde of bayonet,sword and axe wielding legionnaires.The MGs might try but being in the trenches mean they only have to duck down or stay low. Although the Piston Punching might have pumped some our of the trench for a brief moment as they would fall back inside there

Also the mortars and artilleries are out of sight(there are about 5 rows of trenches to go through each armed to the teeth. Try watching WW1 movies).

The Goliaths took care the MGs and the flamethrowers to make their infantries advance. The BC.T1s continued to move into the mortars while its machine-guns is killing the enemies.

The outpost is continuing to produce different kind of units while being sieged by the enemies
List of produced units:
- Approximate of 104 Assault Infantries
- 32 Goliaths
- 10 BC.T1s

The outpost also have a radar detection that shows list of enemies around the border. no matter how invisible/transparent the enemies is, they will be still being detected because of their advanced technology. The outpost's turrets became very aware around the field.

"The first trench is lost!!" A captain cried. The second trench had doulbe the firepower and proceed to fire. Any enemy in the first trenches or near it will be blown to dust as the trench was rigged with explosives and detonated from the second trench. Now the Basiliks have averted focus and are now bombarding the enemies approaching the second trench.


@bear_369 the mortars are all the way behind the fifth trench. YOu still have 4 trenches to go.

@Leo Akastenix I know that. The BC.T1s is at the 1st trench and is directly moving towards the mortar without stopping themselves.

The infantries' AI System has be readjusted. They're were now smarter enough to see any traps around them and they were able to dodge incoming artilieries now. The Goliath continued to march forward while destroying its enemies with the use of its heavy weaponry.

The Anti-Air Turrets detects the movement of its airborne enemies, thus firing its projectile against the Basiliks

Meanwhile, the outpost contact the main base for artiliery support and so they did. They activate the Global Artiliery Launcher, targets the remaining 4 trenches, then fires a massive amount of artiliery missiles, hoping that most of its enemies will be blown up.

The Obsidian Kongsi has noticed a sudden rain of artillery missiles on central Alastorn. They are now trying to ping and locate the location of the Global Artillery Launcher, from an outpost away from the Obsidian Ranges but very close to the Shadowridge base

chapter 2 of introduction

The old King and his armies lay dead. his throne room filled with the blood of enemy and allies alike. The Armies of the defenders, and those who rallied together to destroy the heretics of the Lord Of Chaos, stood in exhausted disbelief at the carnage one king could cause. through his age of wretched war, all the mayhem he caused, all the defenceless villages he killed in the name of discord, all the blood that had been shed, the defenders had never seen such carnage at the spell of the corpse king in battle.

"let me through you fools!" an old man passed, a man who held authority not through his age his standing or his manners. A Wiseman of the defenders, a shaman!

the old man of the shaman walked up to the corpse of the dead king. the wounds on his body stuck through with so many lances, spears, arrows and broken swords. the only thing that eventually killed the dead king was to crush his every bone.

the only man reached closer and beholding the jewel around the dead kings broken neck, he felt compelled to take it."What power is this that could allow the dead to fight so fiercely!?" he pulled the jewel from the long dead kings neck, using magic to dissolve the petty gold that chained it to the dead king .

at the touch of the raw red crystal on the shamans flesh,purple mist burnt into flame around his hand. the defenders in the hall gasped in panic in sight of the horror, the fear that the dead kings power still lived utterly terrified them. "I feel no pain" the shaman drawled in whisper.

"We should destroy this terrible artifact honourable shaman!"

one of the remaining general of their arms spoke his objections, his voice quivering in fear of the magic his soldiers so feared.

another of the crowd cried out "it's power is too much for mortal hand and claw!"

the shaman flared up his power in hopes to silence the fool's of his fellow brethren. "Silence!" his voice echoed throughout the whole hall. reverberated off the shattered temple of the Chaos god. the shaman was astounded by the power the artifact added to his, but the resulting amplification of that chaos was not over yet. low and in the distance they could feel the Earth trumpet.

"It is an Earth tremor!" the warriors dropped their weapons to and steadied themselves against the passing quack.

after the tremor the shaman behold the crystal in his hand, gulping to the fear he now understood I'm his fellow kin "Forgive me I was a fool! the weapon must be destroyed!" placing the crystal on the floor the shaman uttered a spell that sunk the rock to pit the floor, meshing with the solid rock of the temple floor. Summoning up his power the shaman slammed his cane down on the crystal with a mighty crack! the floor shattered around him, splinters of stone lifted a meter front the ground but the crystal could not be destroyed.

eventually it was decided upon the lord of their lands, and his wisers on how to dispel the magic of the rock.
time passed and many a warrior, mage, alchemist and sorcerer tried their hand and destroying the jewel.

but the jewel could not be undone

@bear_369 basiliks' projectiles are shells, not some kind of missile. Plus to get to the mortars, you have to go over or through the trenches making it vulnerable to attacks from below. I dont think you get my base layout do you?

As the Goliaths gets closer several guardsmen with Plasma Cannons fired at the Goliaths. Also the infantry would be blasted by innumerable MGs, lasguns as the second, third and fourth lines are now firing their MGs too. Even metal would be shredded under 50 Heavy MG fire.

If the BC-Tls tried to get to the second trench. They would need to get through making him vulnerable to maniacs with Plasma Cannons.


The Artillery missiles indeed hit their targets but not with much success except throwing up huge amountsof dust.

Big Cloud, the Obsidian Minister of Affairs, contacted the Shadowridge Expedition and ask if they are interested on a joint project. "Hello, this is Big Cloud of the Obsidian Kongsi speaking. Our Dragonqueen has ideas and plans for global artillery bunkers, sadly we can't handle this alone and we need your help. We're all supposed to work closely when we have a common foe, right? It's time for the cyborgs to taste their own medicine..."

@Leo Akastenix First of all, I was referring to my turret's projectile not yours. Secondly, I knew the layout. You didn't know that BC.T1 is a big tank that isn't fit enough for the trenches so they have to go over the trenches. It doesn't mean that they suddenly arrived at the mortars, they're still moving against the trenches that guards them.

The Goliaths took damage from the guardsmen so it aggressively charged unto them with it's piston-punch ready.

The infantries took cover from a safe trench to protect them from the enemies' attack, making them advancing by staying low in the trenches.

The BC.T1s took minor damage from the maniacs so finally, it used its cannon to shot them down in large blast radius.
