Thanks for pointing the flaws out, Chaosy. I merely replied to each sentence with another sentence, but didn't consider the logic at once. Some logical flaws in your post.
This is just a minor mistake, but since they're in a crazed frenzy, they didn't notice him?He 'hides' behind the body - which means he would only be slightly harder to notice from one angle, the other two will still be able to see him without problems.
But I thought I meant another Brownshirt? Sorry if I didn't make it clear with "XXX said" or "the other Brownshirt said"The distance between the two would be roughly one meter (one cannot push a body much longer than that) which means there is a window of say 0.25-0.5~ seconds before impact.
In your post however, he manage to say an entire sentence and wait 2-3 seconds.
How did he get a dagger? (remember, my characters are still in their first room they have not gotten tokens to trade for a weapon yet.)
How did he hit his mates with said dagger? they were chasing each other elsewhere, there is no way they ran back to him quickly enough to get in melee range.
Unless he was throwing it, in which case I wonder where he carried so many knives.
Fair enough. This is just a minor mistake, but since they're in a crazed frenzy, they didn't notice him?
Ohhhhhhhh. My bad!But I thought I meant another Brownshirt? Sorry if I didn't make it clear with "XXX said" or "the other Brownshirt said"
I don't mind them being enraged, just don't pull any tools out ;POops... I never really considered it, let me change my post or just carry out the original plan, letting them fight each other to their deaths? Even ignoring the death of their comrade? Or just make them fight Nathan with plain old fists?
To be fair, I cannot force that to happen. It's against the rules, I merely set up a scenario where it seemed likely.Considering Chaosy forced me to kill one of my characters
Makes sense.I made her emotionless
This is the part that makes no sense, being emotionless does not affect hunger. And even if it did - the body would die even if you could not feel the hunger causing death. If Fenix were to be alive, she'll has her hunger, but since she was unleashed.
I've lost interest a long time ago.I'm really not in the mood for shit tunnels and systems
Well, I would make them say that. And thought that if I did, you might just reply with "Then starve to death" XD, that is why, I thought wrong though, well it happened already with choices.
Sounds pretty realistic too me.Directive, are more into what was RACC's first RP which are into fun and randomness, and you Chaosy, are at seriousness, suspense and twists.
Aye,or speed it up a bit. This feels extremely slow.I've been in this damn tunnel for 7 years.Perhaps we just skip the story to action?
I feel like I'd be good with this.Maybe extend the rules a bit to allow 3 characters, with the 3rd being 'different' than the rest.(I have a feeling I already know what @Chaosy is going to say about this)Afterward we're all left with a couple of islands of various sizes and we're to found nations and kingdoms?
What's up with this?It seems like this was set-up to go like the others from the start.Specify a color and faction (or team) name of your own to join
Thank Talos. The concept of leaving the dungeon place behind is acceptable as far as I am concerned.
This is true. However,to be fair at the end of the day it's what we are good at,we are all here because of a RTS game after all.May not fit the textbook definition of roleplay, but it is what it is. But founding kingdoms would make it a copy of the other RPs, I don't see the point.
And I'm a combination of both, even though I lean more towards the randomness side. And this may come as a surprise to @Chaosy but I do not want to include a army of cupcake dick DogesDirective, are more into what was RACC's first RP which are into fun and randomness, and you Chaosy, are at seriousness, suspense and twists.
TL;DR "Fuck you @WhiteFang "I don't find it funny to include Nazis, Doge and Illuminati everywhere for comedic effect,
Now you took it to far, have some respect you watered down viking(don't get me started on Fortune Tellah)
Well, most started here,a non-serious RP where we threw cakes at each other(literally at one point)But that's why I don't include such things in my RP as I originate from a quite hardcore RP community where you got shut out by the community if you were deemed a troll or even semi-serious.
Learning to RP there was trial by fire xd
You could/can progress down that lane any time, you choose to stand and talk for 7 years.Aye,or speed it up a bit. This feels extremely slow.I've been in this damn tunnel for 7 years.
Not gonna say anything in that case :3(I have a feeling I already know what @Chaosy is going to say about this)
While you do say that, we never use the factions either way. This is true. However,to be fair at the end of the day it's what we are good at,we are all here because of a RTS game after all.May not fit the textbook definition of roleplay, but it is what it is
I added Doge to make it three examples. The other two were aimed at directive, not you.TL;DR "Fuck you @WhiteFang "
In all seriousness, that was just a side story of mine.I never implemented into the RP seriously
and take a additional 7 years to walk through it,where we walk into a room where we throw beans at each other and ask each other questions for another 7 years.I'm so excitedYou could/can progress down that lane any time, you choose to stand and talk for 7 years.
Yes,yes we do.While you do say that, we never use the factions either way.
Believe it or not,but it's not real life.We don't need to be 100% accurate and realistic all the time. When was the last time someone brought in the Minister of Economics because the price for food was rising due kingdom X burned down a lot of farms in a surprise attack?
When was the last time someone made local wars? as in different families fighting, or having history, plotting against the leader or some of the noblemen. Directive is the only one who did this, and that was because I suggested it.
A kingdom/faction is very very very complex and we use 1% of it. Which is why I find it pointless to go down that road again.
No, you can do that in one post, there are no surprises hid in the tunnel. It was only added to try to force everyone to use the tokens for practical things and not weapons straight away.and take a additional 7 years to walk through it,where we walk into a room where we throw beans at each other and ask each other questions for another 7 years.I'm so excited
Using 1% of the functionality is not "use" in my opinion.Yes,yes we do.
Why not go back to cakes fighting cakes then? because fuck realism. In fact, achieveing 10% realism here would be enough.Believe it or not,but it's not real life.We don't need to be 100% accurate and realistic all the time.
Where did you get this '1%' from anyway? On what is it based?Using 1% of the functionality is not "use" in my opinion.
Well,I don't see it in a book.I see it a outlet and a source of enjoymentI see RP as writing a book. In which case you would probably be rather serious unless you write a kids book.
So that's the '1%' according to you, military? If you think military is only 1% of a kingdom, you know nothing about kingdomsIf y'all truly long for a kingdom RP, where we only make use of the military aspect, why not use a mercenary company or something instead?
Logic, I suppose.Where did you get this '1%' from anyway? On what is it based?
Fair enough.Well,I don't see it in a book.I see it a outlet and a source of enjoyment
Also, never heard of comedic books before?
Yes, military is not the majority of a kingdom in terms of complexity. So that's the '1%' according to you, military? If you think military is only 1% of a kingdom, you know nothing about kingdoms
We used a lot more than just military. You weren't here for the majority of the time, you can't automatically assume everything we did
Depends on what you're into. There were no strict rules and lots of restrictions 'cuz logic and realism'.
Meanwhile, for me it is much easier to enjoy a un-serious story because I can be more relaxed instead of acting dead seriousI can never enjoy a un-serious story which is reflected in my mindset.
For me it comes from both, but more from laughs and interaction with others on a friendly, relaxing wayEnjoyment does not need to come in form of laughs, in my case it often comes from mind simulation.
I won't deny this,it is trueBeing able to win a well thought out battle where you make use of tactics instead of OP abilities, is the best feeling ever.
Mostly true,I do believe that without rules it can still be intense,if both sides are able to use self control (use isn't the right word,I just forgot the proper word,it's at the back of my head but I can't quite remember it)And in order to make a battle truly intense there needs to be rules, otherwise it will never be truly even.
Yes, he's right. But I have one more thing to add -- too many rules can make one RP boring but!Mostly true,I do believe that without rules it can still be intense,if both sides are able to use self control (use isn't the right word,I just forgot the proper word,it's at the back of my head but I can't quite remember it)
Ah, yes, it did make me feel like Prestigious Old FritzBeing able to win a well thought out battle where you make use of tactics instead of OP abilities, is the best feeling ever. (which did not work in RACC; this the first thing I noticed when joining RACC xd)
Great idea, though I almost forgot about this lil' things.@Directive255 got something better,if you don't mind
Oops, sorry, my mind was messed up by the drama just now.*Throws smelly socks to Directive for IGNORING and to Whitefang for throwing cheese*
*the smell would cause a huge atomic fart*
*END OF THE WORLD BABY!*
"I have a lot to tell about.Like the time we spent 10 years locked in combat on a torn apart planet. The tale of how we took our home world, our battles against the demon army know as the Legion, the event known as the The Second Multiverse war,the domination of the soulflayer, the Cake War...."
"He is,extremely.I've seen him level entire cities with his magic. In fact, during one of our wars,he made our entire city fly.It was very impressive"
"Is he tall?"
"Well,he can change his size.He usually appears 15ft tall,so that he is still huge but small enough to step on people of buildings. It also allows him to better communicate with his people.During meetings with regular people and when in smaller areas,he appears around 8ft tall.I have seen him much bigger though, when battling giant creatures and god-like beings"
