"True,we should just keep going"Fenrir quickly said and continued to move forward.
The shadow however,stopped and put Aphrodite down.Then he spoke and said "Your little sister could use a bit of rest.So can you.We have made a lot of progress,a bit of well deserved resting won't do any harm
Fenrir let out a deep sigh and turned around. "very well"He said as he walked back to them
There was small cave-in in the tunnel where Aphrodite had went to sit down.Fenrir followed,and sat down beside,letting out another sigh.the shadow creature did not join them however,and stood guard at the entrance.
"Are you not going to join us mister shadow?" Aphrodite asked
"No,Ill make sure nobody bothers you.I'm not tired anyway,so I don't mind" He replied with a soft smile

While being tired, the excitement inside Chee Wah is still strong. He always looked forward to camp in an exotic, creepy place with his Mistress and a small group of other people.

After a moment of walk, they arrived inside the small cave-in. "There are woods scattered inside here. Go bring them all in the center, boy."
"Yes! Campfire! Yay!" Chee Wah saluted, then he ran around the cave-in to collect all the woods for campfire. Despite his supposed cowardice, he proved to be a fast runner and a devoted servant to his Mistress. Within three minutes, he returned with a ton of woods. He placed all the woods in the center. Mistress Goh would then light up the shadowy campfire. "Uhh... I'm hungry now. I can still look over this place, so... hey, you over there (the shadow)! Hello! Can you please hunt some food for me and my li-- all of us? We're all hungry now. Quick, I feel like my magic is been flying away"

But the weird scenario she was in made it worse, she could not even use memory to visualize where things were since she had not been here before. That said, if Nathan let go of her - or the other way around - she would feel alone in the dark, literary. She eventually sobbed herself to sleep at which point Nathan spoke out. "Just as I foresaw! I knew you drugsuckers will going to ask me!" the annoying old voice gloated in a sickeningly malignant delight. "Now, now, we're going to play... a game! The War of Fortune!"

"Now, with your hands bare and empty, you can't do shit, right? Well, we will drop mystery boxes of various sizes from the air every five minutes. And two minutes after a box was dropped, it would gone. You may get pleasurable things like tokens, weapons, potions and various funny gizmos. If you win, you can keep your prizes. Naturally bad things are a lot more than good freebies. And empty boxes too!"

The Fortune Tellah would the pause for a second or two, before continuing with a strong tone aiming at Nathan and Jackie.

"Some boxes contain permanent buffs which would greatly benefit you now and afterwards. (coughs twice) Four of them, yes, can cure your eyes from previous injuries and possibly bless your reborn eyes with perfect true sight. Another two boxes will strengthen and enhance your legs, if you're lucky enough you can run even faster than a cheetah and have a pair of iron legs. There are more buffs you can find yourself, !!BUT!! penalties and disasters too!"

"GO!!!" screamed the Fortune Tellah as dozens and dozens of mystery boxes of various sizes were rained down upon the hall. All of the mystery boxes were imprinted with question marks all over the place.

Chance of falling into a trap is 35%, nothing happens 35%, getting good stuffs 30%.
Oh, and I forgot to say, in every "rain", there will be:

• 60 small boxes (lesser potions of health, chicken legs, healing salves, breads, pistols, ammos, light wooden shields etc.) Some boxes contain one type of stuffs together with tokens.
• 25 medium boxes (greater potions of health, shotguns, potions of invulnerability, heavy metal shields, helmets, machine guns, etc.) Some boxes contain one type of stuffs together with tokens.

Some rains will have some (from 2 till 3) giant shiny boxes, usually with giant buffs or punishments.

Mistress Goh replied, afterwards she just sucked in all the shadow energies around her to sate her hunger and recover herself.

"Hey, we have some spiky rocks over here... I don't know if my ideas work, but let's try digging with these?" Chee Wah picked up a spiky rock with sharp ends and begin digging the soils...

Who knows, what's hidden in the depths?

The gamble here is that I can open as many boxes as I want to get a lot of cool stuff, but it also increase the risk of getting one of the bad ones.
So the question is actually how long you want to keep going, let's say you get one of the 'good' boxes. Will you take another one and risk to lose? or be happy with what you got.
Also, does it mean the chance is 35/35/30?
or is there a chance of falling into a trap when picking it up, and when you open it the odds are 52.5/47.5?

He then looked around once more,then stood still on his spot again,thinking about the current events and the feeling he has.Perhaps it is the illithid that gives him this feeling,perhaps they are already in a part of the Underdark,or right above it.He looked concerned at Chee Wah.If he does manage to hit the Underdark,the ground will completely cave in around them,throwing everybody in the cave in into the Underdark.Then,depending on where in the Underdark they land,he will most likely have to fight Illithid,Drow,Driders,Duergar or Umber Hulks.That is if they do not drop to their death from a mountain or land in one of the rivers,which are incredibly strong.If they do land in a river,they might still be able to survive if they grab on to something large,however the stream will be way too strong for Aphrodite and she will be swept away within seconds.These are the most likely options,but there are others however.He simply shook his head."Again,I must be paranoid" he thought to himself."That is all right?"
But in his heart he knows the answer is no

Yes, but you'll also have to be quick -- slight adjustment, boxes come every five minutes instead of two, and will disappear after two minutes. And the more you pick, the more you'll get the risk.

So the question is actually how long you want to keep going, let's say you get one of the 'good' boxes. Will you take another one and risk to lose? or be happy with what you got.

It's up to you.

It's a rough approximation. You'll most likely get some empty boxes, though if you observe carefully, the empty ones are lightest and thus fall down the fastest. All others of one size has roughly the same weight

I feel like the smaller ones should have a lower fail rate, otherwise there would not be a reason to pick them.
(unless you know that the food is in them, but my characters don't know that)

@Chaosy: Yes, most of them contain food, but beware, some are poisoned ones... But it would be a bit easy to identify whether it's poison by first taste. And smaller ones usually don't have serious traps, the most one can get from small boxes is scarejump and funny pranks

Mistress Goh blushed like she's been in an oven for hours, and she was so happy that her smile was stretching from ear to ear. "Well~~ If you follow me, you'll be safe. Trust me, and follow me!"
"Yes, Mistress! Whenever you go, I will always follow you!"

He looked concerned at Chee Wah .He simply shook his head."Again,I must be paranoid" he thought to himself."That is all right?"
But in his heart he knows the answer is no "No worries, with my powers you'll all be safe. Keep diggi--"

If he does manage to hit the Underdark,the ground will completely cave in around them,throwing everybody in the cave in into the Underdark. "Oh, shit! What's going on??? The soils... they are sinking downwards!!! Brace yourselves! I'll shield everybody right now!!!"

Without delay, Mistress Goh summoned several spheres of shadow covering all the five fellows here. Those would not only shield them against potential attacks and spells, but hopefully the spheres would allow them to fly mid-air... hopefully. Even if they can't fly, the thick shadows would cover the impact. Mistress Goh hugged and embraced her little boy tightly with her arms and shadows, while extending other shadows to pull the others together

He would then proceed to open it.. with his hands shaking ever so slightly

The ground gave away faster than expected,and soon all 4 came falling down into the deeps.They seemed to fall for quite a while,and the deeper they went the more exhausted they got and even basic tasks such as blinking required effort.This quickly became too much for Aphrodite and she lost conscious.Fenrir soon followed suit.The same would happen to Chee Wag and Mistress Goh after she lost the strength to maintain the magic.Soon,all 4 bodies were laying a lake bed,where they were soon pulled out and dragged away.The illithid had once again succeeded in capturing a few sods,who they will turn into mindless thralls to fight for their enjoyment in the arenas,or to be traded with other races and organizations.But first they had to be broken,which is by far their favorite part of the process

He opened the box and...... he got a glowing bright light blocking his way to the treasure. The light would weaken but not gone. There's a pot of unknown potion in reddish-purple, when touched feels good and when drinked feels like Coca Cola and energizing.

However, a participant next to him has opened up a small box and got a pistol. Without hesitation, the participant turned to Nathan and aimed for a headshot. After the first shot, the gunner would then run around while continuing to shoot at Nathan. Seems like the safest way is to indulge into the pot of mysterious liquid.

Now only did the couple wake up from the fall. Some feelings of fatigue and comfort still resided within their bodies, but soon the comfort gone as they realized they weren't sleeping in their bed. Just at the moment Chee Wah open his eyes, both of 'em let out loud screams and Mistress Goh immediately pulled him toward her embrace. "Don't cry, little boy! I'm here with you, we'll deal with those monsters... together!"

I'll just freeze your so-called arts!" said as Santa unleashed several breathes of frost onto the wall, in an attempt to freeze the magic circles. He would later melt into the icy floor, only for a minute later to emerge as Nein Nine Santas.

Those magic circles on the walls were unaffected by the freezing spell and continued to rotate, then after the emergence of the nine santas, the circles around fired dozens of ice bolts rapidly.

The bolts would hit every santa due to its rapid fire and accuracy, as this happens, Cuisidia points her hand to each santa like she was controlling the bolts target.

The room was indeed very dark,and was very clearly not cared for as it was full of spider webs.That's not surprising,considering the importance of the spiders in the Underdark.The room was also a bit submerged in disgusting water,which has been there for centuries if not more.Clear signs of rot and corrosion can be made out in the tiny rays of light from a mysterious torch like object outside.There were other objects in the room,but they could not be made out right now
Fenrir started waking up and coughing violently.Shortly afterwards,Aphrodite awoke too but did not cough like her brother.At the moment,no one really thought much about it due to the situation
"Where are we?"Aphrodite asked.It's very clear from her croaky voice that her throat is very dry.
"Dunno"replied Fenrir,who has managed to stop coughing."How long have we been out...ugh"
He slowly started standing up and looked around.He managed to make out Mistress Goh and Chee Wah,along with Aphrodite.Yet there was no sign of the shadow creature

While the other three were all getting their meat pierced. They cried out a scream of pain and ran as their pool of blood flooded the room. Cuisidia points her hand to each santa like she was controlling the bolts target. The three Santas took advantage of this. These three Santas ran towards Cuisidia attempted to hide behind Cuisidia's backs, in an attempt to have the ice bolts hit her. Taking advantage of the fact that the ice bolts need Cuisidia's function to navigate

Even if they're not poisonous, they can still bite off your precious tongue, Your Highness. I advise you not to eat those spiders, or I'll be feeling very sad for your injury, Your Highness."

Mistress Goh seemed to be impressed by his politeness, so indulged in the sweetness of his words that she forgot the sarcasm inside his words. Never mind, at least she was saved from a stupid and fatal mistake.

The room was also a bit submerged in disgusting water,which has been there for centuries if not more. Clear signs of rot and corrosion can be made out in the tiny rays of light from a mysterious torch like object outside. Only by then did they start smelling the rotten sewers. "Yuckies! I wanna vomit now--" Chee Wah coughed and soon afterwards a stream of smelly rotten shits indulged in gastric acid and sticky phlegm began to fly everywhere inside the room. Maybe the vomit would hit some Illithids or whatever evil scientists and torturers.

"Are you okay, my lil' boy? Do you need a mask?"
"No-- (coughs with some shit coming out) I-I am f-fine, t-thankss!"
"But--"
"No, I can handle--"
"This is an order, I am caring deeply for you, now! Take the mask!"
She lifted her fingers, unleashing a stream of shadows toward Chee Wah's mouth to cover his nose and mouth. "Now, do you feel any better?"
"Ah... yes... Thanks so much, Your Highness."

"Nope."

There were 6 people in the room originally, and the four Brownshirts ran away so there's only those two left!

No, Nathan held one as hostage before killing him.
Jackie then kicked the neck (to break it) of the ambushing one.
One then ran away.
The last one fought for a while but ran after Jackie was injured.

All three Brownshirts screamed.

The sudden strike would not only proved to be very painful, but proved to be deadly.

The Brownshit A (note the spelling) didn't saw the move in time, and when he finally did it was too late. He suffered heavy damage till some of his bones crack and was bounced in quite a far away distance.

Brownshit B ignored the rules and decided to go for the exit up there -- another hole. He looked down and shivered in fear, but soon a grin of evil was shown. "Heh, heh..." Brownshit B decided to jump off the hole, into the Abyss of Void

As we can see here, you've used four of them despite stating that they were 3 originally.
And I, up until now, thought they were 4 all along so I did not react.
So conclusion, we were both wrong.

He walked out and one of the illithid closed the door,but not before saying this in their minds "Be ready.His program won't go as planned,but you must prepared to face mental horror just in case things take longer.To give you a taste of what to expect,they plan on skinning the girl alive and make you watch to 'get you ready' for the final stage.I highly doubt that this will occur,but in case it does,do not try to fight them as it will cause the death of all of you.Your program will start tomorrow and go-on for 2 days,before the final stage which will be 78 days.As I said,it's more of a preparation.Good luck,I recommend getting some sleep as you will have to fight and they may use the tiredness against you.

He then simply walked away and left them to their thoughts

Clever the three santas was, but as soon as those bolts followed them, the bolts stopped in front of Cusidia.
She redirected them again towards those santas after she stands aside from their line of fire. Spheres of layers of thick snows would form to cover the Santas. Now the ice bolts won't do shit, however the Santas also can't do shit either. Making it a fair trade. However, when Cuisidia was distracted, one sneaky Santa has revoked his ethereal form and materialized before Cuisidia. He then hopped toward her backs to assassinate her.
While they were busy, she continued walking infront of a wall. A magic circle forms, the wall starts to freeze rapidly as she points her hand to it. Due to the Santas being not only immune to freezing, but their spirits enjoyed the frost, so what she did only strengthened the Santas Clauses.

The one other Santa absorbed all the frost, and redirected them as storms of blizzards against Cuisidia. It could not only hurt her greatly, but also slow her and possibly even freeze her in ice.

"You're young, lil' girl! Don't play with magic or you might hurt yourself!" the Santa tried to taunt her.

Mistress Goh was so deeply exasperated and irritated that she yelled out her frustrations. She would then suck as much (everlasting) shadows in the room as possible, trying to make her recover better while regaining her strength and mana form the shadows.

"Judging by your sinister and insulting tone, seems that you're going to do something bad with us. But! Never gonna happen! My Mistress is the strongest and sexiest one ever! And she can just suck all your shadows and consume 'em, ya know?" Chee Wah replied like a psychologist initially, which then quickly turned into a brainwashed slave's voice.

If she could no longer sense any Illithids nearby, she would try to use shadow magic to firstly make her lil' boy and herself blend into the darkness, afterwards she would try to summon shadowy spheres of protection on Fenrir and Aphrodite. When the time comes, she would try to summon a portal

Alrighty then.

He opened the box and...... he got a glowing bright light blocking his way to the treasure. The light would weaken but not gone. There's a pot of unknown potion in reddish-purple, when touched feels good and when drinked feels like Coca Cola and energizing.
"Eh.. could've put a label at least.." Nathan mumbled as he stared down into the pot.
It was not certain it had any positive effect so he would start to move his hand downwards to take some of the liquid on his finger and then lick it - however..

However, a participant next to him has opened up a small box and got a pistol. Without hesitation, the participant turned to Nathan and aimed for a headshot. After the first shot, the gunner would then run around while continuing to shoot at Nathan. Seems like the safest way is to indulge into the pot of mysterious liquid.

Nathan would not look elsewhere, having his attention towards the pot. Thus the shot would be an easy hit as he was standing still apart from the moving arm.
He fell down without a sound with a hole through the head.
The sound made Jackie wake up with a twitch. "Nathan..?" she moved her hands around herself, only to find air.
She then felt the scent of blood, she crawled forward on all four. It would take quite a while to find Nathan's body with only smell, provided she was not interrupted.

Fenrir was beyond frustrated,and in pain due to the wound made by the iron.It didn't seem life threatening though so he did not really give much attention to it.He walked over to the door and for some reason unknown to the others he started pounding on the door
Aphrodite,who had fallen asleep,awoke and asked 'what are you doing?"

"The escape plan of course welp.Every prisoner in this prison complex knows about it,hell even that illithid,the right hand of the ulitharid knows it.He doesn't know everything of course,nor is what he does know completely true.A trustworthy ally or not,our rescuer is not so stupid as to entrust all that inform to someone like that"
"And why would he decide to entrust some random prisoner with it?"
"Just get some sleep and be ready,it starts tomorrow."
Upon hearing this Fenrir simply sighed and sat down against the wall
"I'm going to sleep" he said softly to the others."I much rather sleep and have him be wrong and nothing happening tomorrow then me not sleeping and then he was right"
With that said he closed his eyes and laid his head backwards against the wall.Not a comfortable sleep,but it will do.

The wall started to crack as it freezes. With just a wave of hand, the wall breaks into pieces of rocks.
And directed these unto the santas before they released blizzards. In defense after she directs the projectiles, she freezed the floor, transforming it into crystal-like solids that are raised into walls, to defend against the ice storms.

The breaking of the wall created a hole in the underground itself, beyond there was very dark, so Cuisidia summons a little blue-flamed butterfly to scout the area. While she then continues on fighting the santas. She stopped the magic circles from firing after finding it has no effect. Instead, she used the rocks from the broken wall, she made them float like she has the power of Telekinesis and drawed them towards the santas.
Atleast one of them would be sent to oblivion from these projectiles.

Just make some quick event that will get you into some place in a dungeon full of people. Create a lake if you want to, all I don't agree on is controlling another player's characters.
I would even do some teleporting magic to get me outside the dungeon, but I won't since you guys rped inside. That kind of power.

Nathan would not look elsewhere, having his attention towards the pot. Thus the shot would be an easy hit as he was standing still apart from the moving arm.
He fell down without a sound with a hole through the head. (@Chaosy : Assuming Nathan fell into the pot of liquid)
Strangely, the shot didn't do any fatal damage despite blood coming out. Nathan was still able to breathe.
Nathan fell into the pot of liquid, and immediately the sounds of bubbles were heard very loud and clear while a bright purple glow.

The pot exploded into a puff of purple dust...

He emitted an intense aura of shadows, with a pair of stylish wings and three giant yet agile legs, completed with a pair of tough horns and a pair of eyes glowing in shadows. Nathan has not only been recovering completely from the shot and fatigue, but he gained new powers and a stylish body too. Stains of blood were still on his body, however. He can fly as fast as eagle, run as fast as cheetah and deal a solid blow to his foes.

Regardless of your choice Chaosy, the other participant would rush toward Jackie.

With that said he closed his eyes and laid his head backwards against the wall.Not a comfortable sleep,but it will do.
The couple remained silent, but they feel love and romance in the midst of the silence. After awhile, they fall asleep with a sweet smile of romance.
