Outstanding work. The only thing I don't like that much is Grom model. It's amaizing model, but I think it's not for Grom. He was sopouse to be skinny not brute. You can see That during Grom's death cinematic. But that is minior thing. Again amaizing work!

I didn't wanna use the stock model because too many models already use his animations :/ Though the model isn't really that lorewise, it is the physical embodiment of the Orcish race which is exactly what Grom was at the Throne of Kil'jaeden.

The Grom model is awesome o-o

The only thing I dislike is the elk rider. That animal doesn't fit in with orcs very well imo.

Its a Talbuk :p pre-blood pact Orcs used them as mounts. I thought about using the original Warlord model for this, but I didn't fit because it used a horse as a mound and that would break the lore and all that. Then I thought of the mag'har culture the figured a Talbuk would be a suitable mount for Orcs. So there you have it :)

While I, for one, am completely impressed with you. You just show up out of nowhere then comment something brash and act like you've done something better. That's a very effective way of pissing people off y'know. Man honestly, I don't want to stoop down to your level but I'm proud of my work and I don't want to leave all my hard work undefended. About the races, it was actually my plan to stick to the original concepts and techs as a base. You don't know how long I worked on each of those. I worked on them simultaneously and it was actually very stressing. I went back and forth from World Editor to WowPedia to the Hive to just make something up.

It's really hard to make a tech-tree that symbolize a faction and still remains unique. In fact, I'd say it's impossible without breaking official lore.

Exactly my point :) Its not impossible, it's just VERY difficult. At least some people understand that you just don't go willy-nily when creating tech-trees.

Guys, I need your personal opinions on something. Do you guys think I should pursue the Burning Legion race tech-tree or continue off with the campaign without it? I considered a few things. First thing was, I realized the Legion never really showed any real presence on Draenor until Beyond the Dark Portal when Ner'zhul opened the Demon Portals. The only demons that were on Draenor at that time were Talgath, Monnoroth, Monnoroth's guards and Talgath's spies (and most of which didnt fight battles excluding the spawned demons by the warlocks). Kil'jaeden was never really on Draenor, he just showed up in visions and dreams. Second was that the Demons let the Orcs fight off the Draenei for them so there was no major involvement except for the blood pact with Monnoroth. Third was that it would take more time to make another race. Maybe a week or two but in a week, we could easily make the terrain already. Then its just triggering smoothly all the way.

So what do you guys think? I'll try to consider evey opinion.

2. All deamons are too powerfull to be race. I think that's why Blizzard give up on making Burning Legion race. Most of them deal good amount of chaos damage and have big health pool making them stronger then Chaos Orcs that are clearly OP.
3. I can't name one weak Burning Legion unit in warcraft 3, world of warcraft or in lore.

However what you could do is to make them an "assistance" like during the last chapter of undead mission while defending Kel'tuzard. They could be sommened by warlock portals or something like that.

Good idea bro... but you're wrong about the Demons. Some Demons are practically weak such as some Succubus, Felguards, maybe some Voidwalkers and such. The only powerful Demons are the Doomguards, Eredar, Pit Lords, Infernals, and Nathrezim. You also forgot the Gan'arg who are like the Gnomes of the Legion. Smart yes, they are but they're also not exactly the athletic type of demons.

If we're going by lore, a demon race would be OP. They're like dragons, a experienced dragon got a mana pool that's bigger than Stormwind. Meanwhile we slay dragons at lvl 10 (WoW). Or a dragon can be killed by 3 archers in wc3.

Demon got exactly the same issue. A Demon Hunter forge their weapon from the corpse of a demon they've slain himself/herself. Normally the best they can manage is a fel guard. And how many fel guards do the legion have? thousands. And how many demon hunters do Azzeroth have? Now the fully trained Demon Hunters can slay more powerful demons, but once again, they are REALLY few. So I'd say you'd need 5+ footmen for a fel guard if not more.

Either way, you could solve it by making units really expensive. I'd love to see an important demon character, but I think it will be really hard to present a demon character that people will like. (unless you want him to be the enemy, then it's pretty easy)

I honestly vote for NO. I am not 100% sure, but in Outland we can see many demons, and in WC3 there were portals letting demons to come into Outland, so it is not like there is no demons there !

Shar is correct! This is your campaign. If you think the demon race adds uniqueness and value to your campaign then, by all means, go through with it. If you think demons are too powerful then nerf them to create balance.

You never know, the demon race may improve the fun factor and pave the wave for demon campaigns in the future. Honestly, I've been waiting to play a good campaign with a some sort of demonic race. Demon vs The Alliance!!!! :)

Well Burning Legion is unexpected. I don't know about it, but if you think it's good for your campaign, then it probably is. Anyway screenshots are great!

It doesn't really make sense for the Burning Legion to have Nether Dragons (at least not at this point in time), considering the Netherwing Dragonflight consists of the black drakes who went through the portal and were transformed when Draenor exploded.

Anyway, this project is turning out awesomely, and I always enjoy reading up on what you guys have been doing!!

Well at the last mission of the campaign, while controlling Gul'dan and Blackhand, there'll be a side mission where Gul'dan's gonna open a small portal for like 10 mins for a demon race to be your ally. I figured that would need buildings and junk.

THE FIRST CINEMATIC IS 90% DONE. DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TIME
TO WORK ON IT THE PAST FEW DAYS. ANYWAYS, IT'S TURNING OUT PRETTY
WELL AND IM ON THE LAST SCENE. AS OF NOW, WITHOUT THE FINAL SCENE,
THE CINEMATIC IS ROUGHLY AROUND 8 MINUTES AND 30 SECONDS. WITH
THE FINAL SCENE, IM GUESSING IT WOULD BE AROUND 10 TO 11 MINUTES.

I figured it was more of a "what else is there to use"-kind of situation. Maybe they could have Observers instead? There are a couple of pretty cool beholder models here on hive (albeit none of them really look like the Observers from WoW). Anyway, it's hardly a big deal, so just do whatever you feel like (it's your campaign after all :p ).

Oh, you're very welcome :) If you ever need some icons or w/e just let me know.

Gul'dan; is the leader of the insidious Shadow Council and he was the one who brought the Blood Curse to the Orcs. It was Gul'dan who betrayed Ner'zhul and tricked most of the Orcish population into drinking the blood of Monnoroth on the Throne of Kil'jaeden. He was really tempted by the power and pleasures offered by the demons, but soon those promises became lies. He was again tricked by the master of Kil'jaeden and Archimonde, in the guise of Medivh, the prophet, into taking the Orcs to other worlds to conquer.
You spelled "Mannoroth" wrong.

Haven't done much work since Im experiencing family problems. I'll be extending the release date from September 2015 to January 2016. Im so sorry guys, we've gotten so far with the resources and tech-tree but Im gonna have to postpone for awhile. I'll be back once we've settled our family issues but as of now, my right hand is broken :p and also, I don't have much time for this. If things don't go as planned, I could release some demo campaign first before actually finishing this. Hayate, The_Legion, and I are the only ones active for this project right now so it's also kind of hard to do group efforts without the group's presence. I've also recently gotten help from both chr2 and Hawkwing, two of the Hive's respected members. I thank them for their help :) I'll be doing work behind your backs but please don't expect anything big when I update.

This looks so fucking amazing man. I love the idea behind the project.

Question: You have a lot of really amazing models presented. Are those unreleased? I'm currently working on a WoD campaign and I was wondering if your project would be open to the public after it's released?

Yes, most of the models we're using are unreleased but at least half of them is on the Hive. Im sorry to say but the models WONT be released publicly. The project itself would be protected. It's not a matter of being selfish and all, but when we give out our models we actually want to see them being used. Most people ask for them because they have an "important project at home" but we'd prefer seeing them in action. I guess, it's up to our modelers to release them. Most models were made and edited by Hayate with a few edited by Wolffman and yours truly. Some came from Sellenisko, Hawkwing, Cavman, Deolrin, JokeMaster, Tauer, chr2, and many many more sources.

Terrain looks good and imported models seem to be implemented well. You add a lot of custom content created with the object editor; that seems good, I just hope you don't overburden yourself.

I always like it when the main focus of a campaign is on interesting missions; You seem to have that covered: I like the idea of controlling two children and avoiding confrontation.

I don't like that the intro cinematic will take around 10 to 11 minutes. Unless it is REALLY WELL made I would just keep asking when I can finally start playing. I would trim it down to about 4-5 minutes; probably by removing as many narrator texts as possible.

The loading screen should be better and it's way too clear that it's just unconnected images from different art styles. If you have something like Photoshop you could try the masks or alpha stuff. Not that good myself but I did manage to create this a couple of days ago: http://imgur.com/YmCvGwp

The book is actually my favorite WC book and I have been looking at this thread every now and then. If I had made it would probably not have as much custom stuff, but then again I'm not really in touch with the WC fan base any more (meaning I don't know what's expected of campaigns nowadays). Overall I think the campaign is in good hands.
