I am curious as to a fact. I have been given rep (1) but it still claims that I have zero. Why? is it supposed to work this way? What is happening?

The person who gave you rep has an amount too small to affect yours. In short, he gave you zero rep points and a good comment.

I think to give two you need 150, or maybe they bumped it higher. Or they got rid of multi-rep all together.

After the first ten, you give one.
Every 200 after that you give another. (10-199 = 1, 200-399 = 2). Then, take your post count and divide by 1000 then round down. Add that number, and get your rep count.
At least I'm 99% sure how it works.

I think it's just the 200 rep = 1 rep per giving. If you had that post count, Ralle would be giving something like 20 instead of 9.
EDIT: Nevermind, I think it might be divided by 1000 and then halved. Or something like that >_<

So, if it was post count / 1000 halved and rounded down, it'd make ... 3 + 6 = 5? .
Unless your post count was over 10,000, it'd be 0, wouldn't it ... Or just fractions ... I'm SO confused.
But yes, you need 10 rep and then you can give out rep.

No, it's rep. The more rep you have the more you give. Post count is totally irelevant.

Maybe it changed on the last update, but I remember Ralle bumped it from 50 to 100 a while ago, then 100 to 200 only a short amount of time ago. I figure there must be some other driving force, as my rep count/200 alone isn't enough.

It's ever 100 is 1 rep I think. brad has 500 rep and gives 5. Are you sure it's 10:1? I think it's 1:1.

So...

1=1

200=2

300=3

400=4

....

1 additional point of rep power for every 2500 posts you have.

I believe that's how it's set up.
