I'm from Sweden, and i say 9 degrees are way too cold xD
Winter is not my thing.

I'm 95% sure this isn't what you were talking about, but still.
Rain is not my thing either.
And yes, i practically only have Manga/anime wallpapers. Deal with it.

I love those :D Though being a major otaku it would be weird if I didn't - although I never use manga/anime as my desktop as I prefer a clean desktop so I won't get distracted.

I am not that fond of winter, but it isn't winter yet - winter is when its cold enough to freeze water. And really when you are so hot blooded as I, a little cold weather is like heaven.

Because rain sucks?

Same goes with the rain - although it should not be windy when its rainy.

Well Denmark is Denmark - And 9 degrees are perfect not too hot and not too cold, as long as it also is a bit windy.

Perfect weather to ride your bike.

Actually how come no one have posted a desktop with a rain picture on.

9C is actually cold, and I'm Norwegian. I mean, it's not like I'm freezing, I'm 'warm blood' too, but heck, if I can't wear shorts and t-shirt, I am not satisfied. It's not comfortable being outside for hours when the warmest time of day is 9C, with only a t-shirt and shorts. I've had to surrender to the weather (meh, it's 3C here now) and wear a sweater and pants. Almost time to fetch the coat. Funny thing is, 9C has been the average temperature here this summer (though we had one week with great weather, with 30C and upwards in the shade), so I guess I can't complain when it's as hot as this in October, and we've got no snow yet either.. just ice.

Perfect temperature? 20C. Though if it's windy, I'd have to ask for 30C.

-4, ouchies.

Freezing water is at 32 and boiling it is at 212.

and for funsies, it is 455.67 Rankine, -16 Reaumer, 253.15 Kelvin, -3 Rømer, -6.6 Newton (not force, temp), 180 Delisle, and 109 old Celsius.

Anders Celsius originally put 100 at Freezing and 0 at boiling ^^

I like your screen in its simplicity, but what is it?

btw: I never wear shorts - always T-shirts though. 30C would be living hell... but then again my favorite travel placers are all very very hot - but also so nice... couldn't they balance things out

It's an old, graphical artwork by me.. I guess I was just trying to make it looks electric and moving.. I didn't really like it.. so I changed to something more appealing.

I also made it even cleaner, by arranging my games and programs on the taskbar.

Let me rephrase myself.

There is no such thing as 'too fond of women' for a straight guy.

As for that Tekken chick being 16 (or older) .. no way, she looks like a 12 year old, maximum.

Seriously, have you ever seen a twelve-year old? I agree she doesn't look like 18+(even if she is guaranteed to be it storywise) but she definetely doesn't look 12.

Well some twelve year old scarily enough do look ages older then they are... and the other way around... But never thought of her as 12.

Anyway... More screen people even if they contains kids or whatever :zip:

Of course I've seen a twelve-year old .. and she does look exactly like one. At least she's nowhere near 15.

You use Youtube to listen to music? D:
Firstly, they tend to be bad quality, and secondly, why would you load a video just to listen to it's audio track? You might as well use playlist.com or something...

They tend to be the same quality as .mp3, which is the standard when downloading .torrents with music. If you want quality music, you buy the CD (as that's the best you get without a vinyl player, in which case you buy the vinyl).

Actually, there are differing bitrates, youtube generally has a relatively low one to minimize streaming times. Oh, and it is possible to get vinyl-ripped music too, .flac.

I know the concept behind it all, and the reason vinyl is better than CD, and all sorts of conversion/rip, is because it is not digital. I do recognize the qualities of FLAC, but as far as I know, it is still based on digital signals and not continual analogue signals.

.mp3 however, is a bad choice for anyone who enjoys music. When I heard my lecturer explain the concept, and the idea behind chopping off the lower and higher frequencies, I had to ask him if he was serious, or if this was a ridiculous joke.. but it actually is so, that because, as far as humans know, the ears cannot convert sounds below 20Hz or above 20kHz, those parts of the music can be brutally chopped off. After that, all similar frequencies are expected to be of the same instrument, and are considered noise, therefore you clean it, and you're left with the pure, digital sound of the note. I am sure that I do not need to explain that this results in lower quality music, especially noticed on audio players that are meant to play music, and not computer speakers made for low quality sounds.
