- Lastly I feel that some model imports are/were unneccessary and may as well just use wc3 models such as e.g. Crash Bandicoot? In a minigame map you just want low filesize, but up to you
It's just for effect, people like seeing things like that. It adds flavour to the game.

Obviously all the hot key conflicts and positions will be fixed, it was done quickly. Besides in this day and age of DSL connections and all that I dont feel a 1mb file size is very much, obviously it can be reduced by compression but we didnt really have time for that.
