The feet look like a strange combination of hooves and claws, although that may just be an error on the right hind leg making it more obvious for the other legs.

IMO fix the nose, jawline, and leg (obviously), and it will look a lot nicer.
The nose is a little big, and the upper and lower jaws seem to conflict. Also, are the sideburn-like things intentional?

What I meant by you needing to fix the jawline is that it looks like the upper jaw extends through the lower one. That's probably the same sort of guideline as with the feet, but you're supposed to erase those guidelines as the figure gets more detailed.

Actually you erase those lines when you've finished the basic drawing, THEN you add details. Because if you erase those lines you'll just draw them right back where they were and make the mistake again.

But for now I am taking a little break from things...so it'll be a little while before its completed. (sorry Gath)

That would be erasing the guidelines as the figure gets more detailed...

It's completely recreational, so nobody should really be rushing you.

Yes, a human like body, a tail (I guess) wings on it's back, arms and legs positioned on the normal place (for a human) Head like a dragon, and the legs a bit more dragonlike, oh and smaller than a dragon, that would fit a dracon right?

Wait... this isn't a thread-hijack thread? My bad.

What was the original topic... hmmm. Oh, I know. It was about this new roleplay that Gath came up with.

Moreover, what type of advanced technology do they use? Modern technology (like your computer), enchanted technology (somewhat like what the protoss use), or steampunk type?

Nothing as is known for toda can't whipe out a entire planet, some things are more advanced as we have here now, and some are less advanced, Such as they have translators that can learn a easy language, we don't, but they don't have flying machines (the jetpack thingy is the first that might fly). and they don't work with steam, steam was never invented ^^, just as normal combustion, they use energy provided from the crystals they havest were they live.

Celestial Elven Soldiery Lore

These soldiers are proficient in battle, They are many. NOT A HORDE!!. But still alot. The Celestial Elves are smart enough to know that they need a powerful army. And they have kept one. They go about and collect magical artifacts, they also have to escort them to the ships, then to the Flying Kingdom. Also these elves are devoutly devoted to Etheriel (the Celestial god) And Necromancy is a heresy to Etheriel, so these soldiers are often sent out to assess Necromantic activity and kill them or destroy their fortresses (This requires a hammer like strength to crush these fortresses). Trust me Teh-Ephy. The race I created have a powerful soldiery. These are not the weak hit and run hide in trees kind of elves. (they do that, but thats only one tactic in their arsenal) They are also quite capable of hand to hand battle charge combat.

Thus as a summary: Magical artifact/tome gathering = requires the "scalpel" of the Celestial Elven military

Crushing Necromantic threats and evil things that are within their domain (the area under and near the flying kingdom) = requires the "hammer" of the Celestial Elven forces. We often try to strike hard and fast. So that we uttery destroy the enemy without showing to much of our identity. Thus thats why there are myths and ledgends about us. But not real good facts about our existence other than...

"A wave of soldiers wrapped in starlight battered our fortress to the ground with magical fire. Like arrows the fire was, as it streaked across the battle field and broke our stone battlements. Then they charged at us and struck us down. It was as if the very gods sent their fury down upon our spirits."

...This wrapping of light is a spell that we use to hide our identity and inspire divine fear in our enemies, however, this spell only lasts so long, as you cannot hide an army in blinding light for very long. Thats why we strike as hard as we can as fast as we can. And if the light fades, We are exposed and the battle becomes truely serious. (This normally only happens when we fight a powerful enemy that requires a siege that lasts longer than what we intended) But these are usually rare.

So anyways, Elenai, all of my people are necromancers. They're necromancers because the easiest way to fight a necromancer is to steal his minions, not to mention fighting just undead. Is there some sort of friction existent between your guys and my guys?

I would say that there would be alot of friction. My people would be duty bound to at least kill your minions. The more zealous of my kind would probably take you prisoner. There are only a few extreme cases where a Celestial elf would kill you. Now if you were an evil necromancer we would most definately and unmercifully kill you, your minions, burn your fortress to the ground, and take your artifacts.

We often preform a kind of exorcism on "good" Necromancers. Where we take out the dark powers within your soul and aer flows and release your light powers. "We shift the balance" if you will, by destroying the evil half of the scale. But this is rarely done.

Sorry about the long reply, but most of my people are Archaic necromancers. It's a standalone art, not a corruption of a holy art; it doesn't rely solely on dark aer. It's not like any of my guys frequently raise the dead either, and again it's easiest for a small (relatively) group to fight the dead or necromancers by controlling more dead than there are enemies around (if that's possible).
