Ok do you see team glow, do you think I am retarded not to ask Misha to remove it? And do you think there are no unit with hero dissipate animations also?

Anyway I am putting Death Knight hero and I am using Mishas model and honestly I don't see that getting changed. Also undead isn't a "race" its state in which any race can be. Undead Death Knight are by race simple humans. I really don't get racism about classes.

Velj, Animalpower is just being antagonistic.

For the Death Knights, we can have the one in the altar's list and the one for the campaign. Mine has more of a cultist style to it, so it could just be a different tribe of Death Knights and Necromancers.

Who says a class can't change what they use? lol This campaign is going to be awesome.

Looking at the picture Veljkom provided, I quite like the line-up. Now, I haven't seen the murloc catapult before, but I recognize the mage Misha made, and the two dragons.

I'm not sure about the naga mage, as the spellcaster role is filled by the Sirens, and the mage has a more Chinese feel about it.

Nor am I sure about having three flying units. I take it the smaller dragon will be upgraded to the larger one? That way, it can balance out with the Frost Wyrm. The Coatl would be the undead's gargoyle.

The deathknight looks awesome. But I have to add: Units and heroes we design don't neccessarily have to be part of the player's armies. There have been plenty of campaign units in Warcraft 3, like the Flesh Golems and Arcane Golems. So who says we can't have another faction with different units, even if they are Naga?

Speaking of factions, the Dragon Turtle is a rare unit in Naga forces, as only a small number of naga utilize them.

Actually I removed catapult (its from XGM site, from murloc campaign) and replaced it with golem. Its what most wanted anyway and it gives uniqueness. And snap dragon will be Naga Crossbow if model is ever made and I think reaver should be kept as cannon fodder and because most naga models are to big in size.

Also human, undead and night elf (though you can count hippogriff with archer separate unit so they have 4) have 3 air units (orcs lack ultimate air). Cuotle serves as anti-magic unit actually (think of it as undead destroyer, fairy dragon), the smaller dragon is anti-air (role of gargoyle or hippogriff but probably will have ranged air, maybe like dragon hawk) and sea drake is ultimate air like frost wyrm.

And yea I know var, that's the beauty of campaigns.

Keep the Murloc Catacpult as a campaign unit. Wh oknows, we might actually be able to find a use for it. lol

Somehow, I keep forgetting about the Snap Dragons, and seem to think the Siren, Coautl, and Sea Witch are the only ranged units. Technically, we doon't even need more air units, as the naga are actually pretty strong. The Myrmidons are like tanks and the Reavers are almost equal to ghouls.

Talked with Misha and Var and we went over the intro and got a couple of ideas for later. Needs some work, but we've gotten the basic idea down.

Don't worry I have whole murloc packs so I can easily make murloc enemy race for campaign (heck I can even recycle my sea legion race xD). Just sayin'

Uh most races have just 2-3 melee units. But you forget just cuz unit is ranged doesn't mean it has same role as all ranged. Snap dragon will be basic range, you don't use spell-casters cuz of attack you use them for their abilities etc... trust me i know what i am doing. Each unit has a role. At the moment there are 10 units (not counting workers), 3 buildings with 3 units (primary building for basic units, for casters and for specialist units) and one building with 1 unit. Most races have 1 more unit (though some can be achieved through morphing)

Hope you'll share with rest of us and...will chaos be able to make terrains and cins like he said?

Actually I was thinking asking GhostThruster since he had in his naga map siren with acolyte animations. I just think that would be better then to have 2 female siren casters and cool guy like yours as a simple worker.

Well that would be extremely unfair to rest of races. Also royal guard only adds little damage and ice bolt ability...I kinda dislike that he has an active ability though as rest of tier 3 units only have passives (hence why add bash...will add trident icon and better name). Maybe royal guard should be solo upgrade you chose for myrmidons instead of complete replacement?

Yea and since it will be solo upgrade I guess I could make him more royal.

I promise I'll find some cool channel ability... though at the moment I am thinking of small version of tranquility since now there is no way to heal your units. Until then exploit the Death Grip bug...it does weird stuff with buildings.

Tested it and it has potential. It'd help if the tooltips were changed to fit the units and buildings. I didn't even know that the turtles were required for lumber. Kind of annoying because I never got past the first tier units and buildings. Otherwise, pretty good. Death Grip was a pretty interesting spell. Kind of fun to use too.

Yea for tooltips I got colorizer so we could make better looking text. Kinda like in this map. And yea Deathgrip is more awesome then I thought it would be. When playing 3v3 and when there are 3 Death Knights well enemy heroes get dragged like toys. And AI definetly shows healthy usage of the spell.

I actually did pretty well as draenei against orcs. The units were pretty nice, but no hero, so I had to destroy the items I found.

I may have been doing it wrong, but the naga seem to have trouble with the orcs. I can't do enough damage to keep them from slaughtering me.

I should try the other races as well.

Ugh Draenei were default race from the system I used for race selection. Oh don't chose computer human or you
to be elf, for some reason those choices aren't working. Will have to update system.

Hm I didn't yet tested out 1v1 battles though must say that 3v3 AI usually wins unless enemy reaches third tier or exploit the prob of Naga not getting gold mine >>

i've been busy with other things, so I haven't been able to work on the naga project. Got some nice ideas, worked on one a little bit, and will be able to continue around the 15th of June. That's when the last day is, and schools tend to have no assignments on the last few days. I'll still be around, though, so if anyone has questions or wants to talk, I might be open. I know misha likes to contact me when I'm busy with something. lol. If anyone has plot ideas, please pm them to me.

Well I'm just a little bit more alive atm :D

And I have played the map which was linked by veljko
- From what I've seen. almost everything had magic dmg of the normal units.

- The idea for the slave turtle being able to load in and fight was one of the things things to do with it too. but then I thought that it would mean that the slaves would be armed. and that sounded a bit weird to me.

- putting a tavern in the map is weird since you can buy the naga hero :p

Some of these things might have been said or discussed or something else
and I know its a very early wip. but these are just the things I saw.
I have not red a thing since I said I was away with some exceptions.

Uh...magic damage have 2 caster units (they almost always have), sea drake cuz its similar to frost wyrm, chimera and grifin rider, uh hehe worker but will you really attack with worker... ok was lazy. And cuotle cuz its based of destroyer (and sort of fairy dragon). Apart from worker all these units have same attack as already existing units. But I guess I'll return piercing to cuotle.

And map is made by blizz...

Only if you chose night elf or for AI to be human. The script is not made by me and creator updated recently to fix this issue.

If there is space for Naga Building, the Naga Observatory model could be used as a shop (Arcane Vault, Voodoo Lounge...). They could be used as Nazjatar building.

Two affiliations of naga are Queen Azshara and Old Gods, in a campaign, I think there should be the presence of Queen Azshara, there is the model of Queen Azshara on Warcraft Underground, could make a storyline for her and also for Lady Vashj. Queen Azshara must be only used in a campaign, along with Lady Vashj.

The ideas of campaign have a fog index, I did not understand what was trying to be accomplished. I have readed about underwater features, to make a map underwater, in that case, I suggest the area under Maelstrom, Vashj'ir and some imagined naga city, really there are naga cities underwater in WoW that are not classified on the map, or it could be area in the middle of the sea.

These campaign zones could be: Lost Isles, Darkshore, Azshara, Outland, Coilfang Reservoir (where Vashj is), Broken; Echo; Isles. The Queen Azshara is located at Nazjatar, so if you are so good people at making lore why not make about the Queen Azshara storyline. I could make the terrain for underwater areas.

If the WoW models, from Warcraft Underground are used, then it is for campaign. The posting of WoW models are forbidden on Hive Workshop, but if the maps are protected, then no one could posess the WoW models from the maps.

The naga are affiliated to the Old Gods, there are few underwater old gods that exist in WoW, in Vashj'ir such as Nespirah and L'ghorek, and maybe even C'thun, because of tentacles at the depths. In the campaigns, naga defend the L'ghorek from the invaders.
This old god in the picture is one of the underwater old gods, it is located beneath the Maelstrom, near the city of Nazjatar.

Observatory is 1.6mb so that's hell no for melee version. Plus I gathered all buildings (not uploaded that map version here yet). And well I am open for suggestions actually. But try not to be to persistent if it is denied.

Isn't Warcraft Underground site that only has WoW rip offs? Though Sacrid is in charge of story part.

Though Wow doesn't have Ashara model, it uses standard Lady Vashj. So it maybe is custom model..just is it wow or wc3 custom? Wow models are forbidden for good reasons on this site...

And it could be campaign building. I don't really like it but naga buildings are rare so if so need it we will have to use it. I doubt I'll have big part in story design since I am to much anti-wow oriented.

Really, Misha? There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Animalpower is posting. We have no idea what the story is going to be. It might actually end up being about the old gods or Queen Azshara and animalpower could be giving Sacrid some ideas here and there. Just let him brainstorm. Please stop discouraging him.
Wow models...Absolutely not.
Wow anything...No.
Animalpower, just keep in mind that we are not using wow Lore. So stuff like the Coilfang resevoir doesn't exist.

Well we can't use it since that's Ilidari thing anyway, i mean how can we logically jump from Ocean depths to outland? Wow naga lore is ok just not that usable for rts. We still can use locations for example and some main guys? Though Old God (And in wow there are only 3 old gods, and none of them has yet been connected with naga. Only the resent Neptulion thing really shows open relations between naga and faceless) thing is not just WoW thing but I really do hope we won't be focusing on them. Instead we should better focus on Nagas invasion or something. The Conquest of Surface?

And I guess that Misha dislikes triple-posting...plus the animal powers posting before.
