To summarize it to everyone why N.O gone on rampage:

He uploaded a stolen model from an Asian site. Apparently they simply edited it off my Bloodelf Champion I posted over 2 years ago.
And now he is whining about the fact that I found out about that model theft and that you have never done anything yourself.
N.O you are the most stupid person I ever met. Seriously. Why do you insist on something that is just a stupid lie.

About DarkFrog ("Ive came bearing news"). If he spammed them with many accounts, Deathcom3s and Void had all the right to ban him. First, because he's multiaccounting. Second, because he's spamming. Both are pretty explicit on «spamming with many accounts».
When you're trying to defend someone, violating the rules like DarkFrog did is the worst you can do. Nevertheless, Void is no longer on our staff, as you may already know.

About PurplePoot. I do not see how his post is relevant to the topic we're discussing here: there are a few incompetent people on the staff who need to be demoted, the transparent moral about fixing what's wrong and demoting a few heads, Ghan sometimes stepping over someone's toes and breaking things instead of fixing them, a few explanations as to why there are no new moderators for a few Development sector sections and, most importantly, an advice about being criticized, which I think we should all listen to.
Back on topic, though, we're discussing power abuse and PurplePoot's comment does not seem to be related.

About Destiny.Knight. I'm pretty sure I got back to Bounty on that one; I told him to mention all the details when posting. What he did there was a «quick review», and this is one of the reasons why I don't like «quick reviews».
Aside from that, I can only tell you that Bounty's comment, while short, mentions a few things that I don't think you need to be a genius to understand. «Horrible terrain», «unoriginal spells», «boring gameplay»... either you understand this and don't want to admit your flaws or you don't and therefore haven't played enough maps; and, come to think about it, how many successful authors created their project without playing other maps?

About i_brg_doom. General Frank was indeed harsh here. This is what I was talking about when I asked you to come up with proof.
I think it should be mentioned, still, that i_brg_doom is the first to blame for not reading the rules.

About Maedh. I remember him and I think I was inclusively the one to set him off like that when I deleted a few of his posts on the Map Development forum.
Maedh fails to understand the point of having rules in the first place when he asks «What right do mods have to censor what people can and cant read?». We have no rights over what people can or can't read. Following that logic, we're prohibited from prohibiting pornography, spam or flaming on the Hive because we mustn't delete posts. To answer his complaint, though, I think (but am accepting to be proven wrong) that people do not want to go through dozens of «cool :D», «waiting on this map!!» posts.
As for shutting censure behind closed doors, I do not agree with this either. I actually think it is preferable to have threads like these than to have them in Admin Contact, where they (and I know this because I had privileged access to it in the past, as you know) will likely go unanswered. You're vulnerable to be accused of making drama, yes, but this shouldn't worry you if it is the moderators you're trying to get to.

About Firelord213. He did not explain his case in detail, so I will not comment it. As for the poll, while it gives an idea of what people think, it does not explain what the problem is and is, therefore, useless.

About KaboomMaster. He did not provide any links nor did he mention any nicknames. It's hard to diagnose the problem when we've got nothing to refer to.


Still, N.O, it is not too late to come clean if it's your mistake. Just go into the Admin Contact, admit your error and apologise. Nobody else needs to know. Every man makes mistakes, but only great men admit they did.

I'm not, but you've made 2 threats, a few ignorant statements, and I don't like the treatment of N.O at all as there is definitely something more going on with your conduct, General Frank.

All these Mod-supporters, besides replying to non-existent comments, are ignoring the common denominator -- you. Not that I think mods/admins need be proper, they just shouldn't act like they are if they are not.

Even though I never had anything to do with General Frank, because I use different sections than he moderates, I have good experiences about the times that I have encountered (or whatever the word is) him in a conversation or discussion.

MrApples, if you can still read this(which I doubt), first you're slightly accusing NO of stealing the model of your friend, and then you support him and go far enough to actually flame General Frank?

General Frank has good reasons behind his actions and I doubt he would reject a model for no specific reason, or ban an account for no specific reason. It is quite obvious that N.O. has attempted to claim the authorship of a model once, when he posted the thread about that Aion model, and it was proven that he is obviously attempting to 'steal' the model. It is quite likely that when someone who had done such a thing in the past would not be believed at the first place when attempting to submit a model to the database. Besides, flaming the moderators or in fact anyone else is forbidden and should not be ignored. Such an action may lead to lose of reputation, warning or even an infraction. As everyone can see, in this very thread N.O. has flamed General Frank and his signature indicates he tends to think that everyone who has an account on the Hive is an idiot(or, at least, many of those who own an account at the Hive).

That put aside, General Frank has provided proof to N.O.'s actions - whilst we are yet to see any proof from N.O.'s side. And finally, I'd like to say that it is pointless to argue at this point, as evidence has been provided against N.O.'s actions and he has obviously broken the rules of the Hive Workshop.

"oh did you hear? N.O emoquit!" there is no point r value in these commnents because obviously he left and there is no one to ban or incriminate. IF he reeally was a mapstealer. from my experience he was not. but i don't really care anymore. so can we stop gossiping about it? thanks.

It would be a shame to hate the whole of THW, just because of you views towards one of its members :( Most of us are actually quite nice people :)

I don't have any of the facts so I can't really say what happened :S But I'm quite confident that THW wouldn't remove your resource without due consideration :)

Either way, don't let one bad experience ruin your stay. Theres plenty of laughs to be had here :D

General Frank I can not see how that dragonhawk model relates to your bloodelf champion other then their animations.
I am amazed at how far this thread got, I decided to come back to see if it was deleted... apparently it wasn't.
I apologize Dr Super Good, I did not mean you, same for you cloudwolf.
I changed my signature to what it meant and should of been in the first place.
One more thing I ask for nobody to be banned on my behalf for supporting me even though you won't listen most likely.

Their are 6 more mods I forgot the name of that are similar to General Frank.
I ask not to lock or delete this thread for it shows a example of how one member will fail even if he or she has proof against the mods on hive that is.

I am very sorry that you feel this about THW.
It is very popular to shout "abuse" and it is not at all helpful. However, what is helpful is to report to me if you think somebody crossed the line.
I know that GF is very sensitive about his own models. Therefore what we usually do is to let other very trustworthy modelers to take a look at decide what they think. So I suggest that you (if you still care) do that.
I believe that any problem you have with this site can be fixed. But this is not the way.
If somebody is an asshole who needs to die, I suggest you show me what the guy does and we can discuss what to do with him/her.
I will be sad if you will still leave the site.

Just download the model under the 6th picture and look at its internal model name.
Then download this one and compare.

N.O, you don't even have the right to call it your model. They stole it from me and you stole it from them. Easy deal. Again it is not the first time you are doing this. May I remember you about the Lothar model? And the Angel from Aion? Why are you doing this? Just for fame or simply because you just see a possiblity to make a name.

(If you have problem opening the .rar, rename it to something like Model.rar)

This is Frank's mesh, the uv mapping and geomerge of the guy that stole his model, stolen by another person (N.O.) and provided with Blademaster animations. Period. That's what I think of it. The mesh is no coincidence.

But, Frank, it's pointless to link deleted resources as proof.

N.O., one can speak up without being offensive... that's why I said hive is better off without people like you... not for any other purpose.
You could have stated the problems in a rather more adequate manner - specially without the cursing...

Hive is a huge community and sometimes things can go out of control, but that doesn't mean you have the right to make such a huge fuzz about it.

+ I'm sure if you PM'ed Ralle about this prior to doing this whole fuzz, he would have replied a day or two later and would have investigated into the issue.

And I'm sorry to tell you, but the models seem to be the same with different coloring...

Couldn't bother to read through 7 pages, but, out of the gist of it, I'd say that N.O.'s accusations, based on my experience, are completely wrong.

As far as I've known General Frank, and I have been here for a couple of years, though not really all that active in the past several months, I doubt that any of these accusations are correct. Yes, there has been some staff "corruption", as you put it, at one time or another but, as far as I know, General Frank never really abused his powers or anything of the sort. If he said the models were ripped off, or stolen, he most likely was right.

This is based on my earlier experience. In the meantime things might have changed, but I doubt they would change so drastically.

ah, ok... well... it appears fairly obvious then :P Even if both users used the same base-model, it is highly unlikely they would end up almost-identical. The grom model does not feature the knee-pads, and the place where the shoulder-pad has been removed is near-identical. I can only asume then that General Franks model was used as the base-model for editing :)

However, what strikes me as strange is "Why use GF's model as the base?". I mean, N.O. clearly has some modelling skills to be able to change the head and weapon of the model. I would have thought adding some knee-pads and removing the shoulder-plate would be easy work for him xD That just doesn't add up for me :P

Is it possible that General Franks model has been uploaded on another site under someone elses name with permission to edit? This could just be a misunderstanding :P

I personally would like to see some evidence from N.O to support his case because I'm just one of those people who likes to explore all possibilities ;)

take a look at the chiese site that GF posted. You can find a dragonhawk rider with red armor there which is 100% identical with the model that NO posted

So it was like that:

GF created his BE_Champion-->some1 edited that model to a dragonawk rider and posted it at that chinese site--> NO took that model, changed its texture to the blue armored dragonhawk rider and submitted it here

Edit: lulz, I should srsly start to write my comments faster xD

@ N.O, General Frank has provided some against you, its only fair that you should be able to provide some to defend your claim. Until such a time I'm not going to side with anyone :)

It is quite possible that the base-model you used to create your own was taken from a site which gave permission to edit? If thats the case, I would love to see the origin of the base model because that would make this whole thing a complete miss-understanding, and you would not neccesarily be to blame :)

With no evidence coming from your side of the field, people can only asume you have none? Proove them wrong :P

I like pretending to be a lawyer, its fun xD
