Why did nobody show me these (if it's official Friendship is Magic concept art)? D:<

Edit: Found out they are designed by David Dunnet.

For someone who spends all her time in the library, she's really got a tan

she's not tan, for some reason a lot of people have been drawing her as having slightly darker skin, (like.... i dunno, pacific islander, part black, phillipino, puerto rican or something) fucked if i know, its hard to tell exactly what ethnicity its suppose to be.

Why does Pinkie look pregnant/fat?
Also, why is Twilight the only one with dark skin?

Fluttershy and Rarity are superior, by far. Nuu :(

What if in some future season they make them shapeshift to the females in that picture? Were-pony? (Or Werehuman).

Anyway last night I tried this 3D game on equestria gaming and after 'flying' a little with rainbow dash, because the controls are very weird and I had to turn my head 45 degrees to see the mountains and houses vertical (90 degrees). As a result when I stopped playing it I felt like the ceiling above me is at 45 degrees and I felt im not standing straight perpendicular to the ground but at some weird angle.

I felt like Im not standing perpenduclar to the ground after flying in http://www.equestriagaming.com/2011/05/my-little-pony-3d.html and instead, my room and everything outside looked to me rotated 45 degrees after turning my head to 45 degrees to play that game/scene. Because the controls are bad and once you rotate the pony you dont see the surface below you it is in diagonal >_>

Aside from perhaps appealing to some of the more... 'expecting' male fans, that would be sheer commercial suicide, and I believe would kill the series. Besides, the omission of humans in the My Little Pony franchise in FiM indicates that they weren't really to partake in the original script in the first place.

To those who haven't heard, it's been stated that Lauren Faust stepped down from executive producer to consulting producer, but will remain in charge of story conception and scripts. That, and it appears that there's a difference in other staff. It may mean there could be a wee difference between seasons. Still, Lauren appeared to be pleased with the changes, and so I guess season two is still something to definitely look forward to. [source*]

I have never played Minecraft, but I got to say this looks like it must have been very difficult to do:

Not sure what the source is for those humanized versions of the characters. To my belief they were just versions created by a fan. For the show I'd personally prefer humans to be non-existant in the universe.

With them as humans, I think some of the 'fans' would want it to be more than friendship. :p Especially with the show's popularity on that media cult following known as 4Chan.

Still, I can't exactly see how it'd work with the show's namesake, anyways. My Little WerePony? Yeah. And I agree, Billy. I don't really see what canonical potential humanized versions would have in the plot, anyways.
And never played Minecraft? You must be burnt at the stake! Heh, actually, I've never played it either, but I've sure absorbed the hype around it that is so prevalent. And I watched the video. Wow. o.o I have to admit, the creator needs commendation for such dedication. A feat like that would give me hell XD (Almost as much as vJASS gave me in the first place. Evil coding >.>)

My little Human now really can you image that?

Elite slayer agreed

@Billy the cat not difficult just very time consuming. It would be like notating music where every note takes about 5 seconds to input instead of 1 ^^. And there would be alot of trial and error on synch with the redstone. SOUNDS SO EPIC THOUGH

No need to worry as of yet. All the storyboarding for season 2 has been completed. So any drastic changes - should they occur - would first be in season 3.

That's a refreshing relief. I'm glad that the plot/storyline sector is secure, but, for me, I feel it's essential that the series retains its originality, even outside of series lore and in the animation department. I sincerely don't want another enjoyable series to go down the all-too-frequently-travelled "good-show-meets-new-staff-and-ends-in-disaster" road. :p (That sentence needs moar hyphens.)

Another pro is that, should it come to the worst and season 3 be a total flop, we'll still have approximately 20 or so good episodes to look forward to.
