Fact: Branching out to Starcraft 2 could be potentially beneficial, but our focus has always been Warcraft 3 and there are existing sites specialising in Starcraft 2 modding.

You can't say that 'no one gives a fuck' about what someone else thinks when what you're doing is putting forth a suggestion yourself. But I hardly see it fit that someone who has joined before 2007 is allowed to edit and delete others' posts. Fantastic example, GhostThruster. -Grendel is the pinnacle of what a new user is capable of. Magnificent quantities of work and all performed well.

Some even said he may be the next General Frank, which may well be true, what with the fact that he takes a theme, sticks with it, and moves on when he's done.

Also I'm sure the fact that he generally uses ingame aspects to perform his modelling has something to do with it, too.

Ralle made the first mistake by ranting ALL of his moderators personally. He could have written a thread in the mods lobby without adressing anyone personally, but no, he decided to go on his rampage. Every person makes mistakes, and this time he did one. And it does not matter wether he is the site owner or not, he is still a user of this site like any other person and does not deserve any special treatment. And hiding his stupid mistake by banning people who adress this issue in public isn't the wisest decission neither. And to clarify it: I resigned from my position before I got demoted, because this time the administration crossed the line of actions. My consequence was that we reached a point where I cannot support the staff any longer.

Because of DSG's demotion.

Not intending this as an insult, but DSG was pretty much, in all senses of the term, an elitist. The reason I deduce this is because, for example, whenever a user got banned and people didn't like it or questioned why, he would put in 'oh that person deserved to get banned'.

Not even in a fashion of 'oh this is why they got banned so they DID deserve it', but more so 'this person is below me, therefore, they deserve a ban'.

Also, more recently, there was a new user who posted a trigger question in the Introductions section. Instead of bothering to explain 'hey, i don't know if you know this, but this is the wrong section. try here instead :3', he went straight to assuming it was for Starcraft 2 (no game was stated, even though the triggers were obviously from Warcraft 3's GUI) and went on to say that that particular user would not have a hope of making a good Starcraft 2 map.

That sort of behavior is not good for a moderator. And that is the definition of elitism. Which is how the topic came about.
