Merchant (Goblin Optimized) Info:

  • Added Birth animation.
  • Added base so that it can work well with slopes. Removed the Goblin and so that Stand Work animation is "race-neutral".
  • Added Team Colored portions.
  • Added Rally Point Location.

  • Fixed the texture wrapping in some areas.

  • Created an alternate version of the Goblin Merchant using the Laboratory Texture.

Cool building which fits well with the Barracks you made, though it needs more decorations and details because it still resembles the old Goblin Merchant. Maybe you could add a bamboo wall around the building.

Well the idea here is to simply make the pre-existing Merchant model usable as a building of a race hence the Team Color, Birth animation, and others. I kinda did the same "upgrades" to other pre-existing models.

I'm all for this, and glad you did so for the ever-useful Merchant. However, I'm not sure about that base... Basically, the shop is already up on stilts, so putting on a "platform-on-stilts" just seems... redundant. Moreover, for the other one (with much of the building covering the design) it looks great, but on this one, you just see this big brown spiral-splotch.

In my opinion, you could either modify the base (different texture on just the middle part, to make it look different; maybe a hole... Or just some piles of stuff, or something to set it off) or just remove it entirely.
