  • Hey, i see you still visit here. Me and many players have played MZA on gameranger many times, but on old versions which need upgrade. I'm not scripter so i can't really do much, only map and balance changes. I know there was gullimans/or other working on map but it's still need update.     Hi there. Do you still working on the "War of the Clans"? Looks very interesting. I always wanted to make a map about Orcish clans...
    If you're going to make me fix it every time something isn't working because of changes in the new map there will be no end to it, seriously, did you even look at the old map where it was working?

    It's a different unit, there's no pathing blockers right next to it etc etc. I imported the old tower unit and moved two regions a bit away from the pathing blockers and now it's fine...

    Coming each and every time over every little problem that you can figure out yourself if you just think a bit on your own is getting on me.

    Oh yeah I also had to do the "hard" work of changing 4 towers into 8 in the list (integer representing number of buildings to be build 3 to 8) and add their appropriate values because apparently there's 4 more regions in the new map, boohoo... :vw_sleep: (did you even look it over?)

    I'm not trying to be obnoxious but you're coming of as if you're just going from one guy to the next to solve all your problems, big and small, while you're dreaming them up with one idea and then the next, great ideas sure but nothing more than ideas until someone else makes it for you, which is pretty upsetting if I'm correct.

    p.s. I had all ready said in pm before that I'm just going to make the build system and then the appropriate measures to incorporate the random movement and training, so when I keep seeing you talk with other people about how I'm going to make it you're just adding more fuel to the fire...
    RAM does not do anything. There is another trigger that blocks it. If you look at the training system there are two custom scripts before and after issuing an order. You'll need to have that in the building system as well.
    Go to the object editor and press ctrl + d and there'll be 4 character ID next the the name of every unit.

    The peon id is therefore 'opeo'

    I haven't touched any trigger that wasn't directly related to the build system, I was a bit curious and looked at some other stuff but besides the build system there's no changes.
    I were supposed to make one last thing with it but I went to do something else and then I basically forgot what I were actually doing so I haven't gotten around to that.

    I might as well just give you the map, the part that isn't done would probably tie in with the Random Move System anyway so who ever is doing that stuff would have to deal with it more or less regardless, (probably would have been a bit easier for them if they wouldn't have to figure out what my stuff is doing first, so I'll get to that part some time/day if it's not coming together)

    pretty much, besides the part where it's going to be replaced by another unit so that you can set it's facing angle.

    Also the stuff with being interrupted and using the workers in the town instead of spawning them out of thin air.
    Yeah, I'm not blaming you or anything, it's only used once in a jass trigger so unless you'd actually check the trigger and then look for it's raw code in the object editor you wouldn't know.

    I just mentioned it because I saw that chaosy said that he thought that the system he's made is all ready in place and working. I figured it's possible that it has also been lost during the importing.
