Mana Drain Targeting?

Has anyone noticed that you can only target enemy units with mana drain?

There's a Skill that can Transfer Mana to target, if it's an ally, and drain mana if it's an enemy... but none to drain from a friendly unit... as far as I Know.

Hmm, I never tried working out a solution but here, I found something that might be of help:

It seems like you have to trigger it.

Yea I actually found it in an older thread, you have to set the melee data used to current patch under Map Options.

When you update it to use latest melee patch and target a unit with full mana it returns "Error message missing!"

Any ideas?

Could you post a test map?
You can drain mana from enemies and tranfer to allies via Mana Drain.

You understand this race is going into my project and so while my entry will not be updated I am still working on it.

The error message is because of the Units\CommandString.txt you imported.
I'm not sure how to fix it though. :\

Would altering the message it is supposed to return cause it to recognize the new string?
