SkyGunner - A flying shoot 'em up with a unique camera system. A real hidden gem for the Playstation 2. My #1 favorite game.

Destruction Derby 2 - A racing game for the Playstation 1 that has Stock Car Racing mode, Destruction Derby mode (Regular or Total Destruction), and Wreckin' Race.

Super Smash Bros. - I'm just going to assume that everyone knows about this game.

Skate 2 is the best skateboarding game. Tony Hawk is alright for an arcade game, but not nearly as immersive or realistic. I realize realistic != good necessarily, but in this case it sure does.

Best games for me would be pretty much everything Blizzard makes, the Grand Theft Auto series, Return To Castle Wolfenstein, Skate 2, the Simpsons game, Sims 2 and all the expansions (torturing sims just never gets boring), some Mario games and Zelda games, although I've never played them, and maybe some other stuff which I can't remember right now...

Worst games would be most of the recent Sonic games, The Godfather 2, Harry Potter and The Half-blood Prince, all the CD-i games, and hundreds of other horrible games, which I'm too lazy to list right now...

Yes, I am serious.. Portal, why it's bad? Have you tried to play with sound on? There's nothing that annoys me more than that horrific voice-set. Let alone basing an entire game on opening portals to solve logical puzzles (no, I'm not very fond of puzzles either).

Final Fantasy Series, why it's good? Decently long game, not many other games have such a long story that if you're not going to miss anything, you'll spend more than 24 hours playing it through (I've got an average of 100h per Final Fantasy game, with the exception of XII which was rather short, but that's because there's a lot of side-quests instead of packing the main-story with missions and quests, and finished in about 30h -- I've spent 300h on X, with half of it being Blitzball matches). You've got plenty of opportunity to shape your characters to fit your playing style (for instance, I made each and every one melee fighters in XII, because it's possible, and I liked how it worked out.. I haven't got around to try a more intricate build, yet) .. there's always some kind of mini-game, which is nice if you're bored of grinding, or you're just looking to acquire some rare items. I'll stop this before it starts to become more of a novel, but there's plenty of elements that make Final Fantasy a great game series.
