I hope things are going well. I'm glad you have someone helping you out. The terrain looks much better when it isn't all flat. Terrain is one of the things that really draw me into a game right away. And inversely really poor, hurried terrain can cause me to leave a game right away.

Thank you. For fixing the terrain, En_Tropy did it. A friend of mine here, best friend here. Actually expected release date of Heroes Tale ALPHA v0.1 is in April and in ALPHA v0.2, maybe I'll make a terrain revamp and yet add more areas and items so ALPHA v0.2 will take time.

So what's new here?

Fixing Triggered skills in-game and also making the item drop for the another Optional boss other than the Broodmoher, the Enrage Ursa Warrior.

And also to all of you, the item drops for the first boss will not be in this expected ALPHA v0.1 in April and Lives System as what Legendary gave me as a suggestion is cancelled because I have further realized that this game has many heroes and it can get complicated if I make a Lives System, another way to deal with Reviving heroes will be in progress and don't worry, it will be in this expected verson too.

Updates! near on releasing ALPHA v0.1 just fixing the bugs in the game such as wrong Camera Movement in Cinematics, Trigger Problem and also Quest problems..... So, wait little while and ALPHA 0.1 will come on its way.

Updates! I am about to test the game because I may release the ALPHA today or tommorow and also expect some Gameplay Screenshots to be added at my first posts at Screenshot sections. This is what your waiting, the release of ALPHA 0.1!

By the way, I am very thankful to all who voted for Heroes Tale on the previous Project Spotlight and the game got included in the Top 5. Supporters, stay awesome!

The Multiboard contains 5 rows and 3 columns. 5 rows because it has a maximum of 4 hero and also including the sub title such as Name, Level, Status. 3 columns because it displays the name, level and Status.

Map Version: 0.1b - Alpha State

So, supporters out there in the Hive! Here is the ALPHA 0.1b of the Heroes Tale, hopefully you will all like it but still I am taking sggestions for the game improvements. Also, reviews are appreciated about the map's content. So, enough with this, have fun playing Heroes Tale ALPHA 0.1b!

Btw, so here is 0.1b, another version extension of 0.1! Some of the bugs are fixed but others will be in 0.2 but if you have found a bug that really needs fixing, please dont hesitate to tell. Thank you!
In-Game Tips

-Do not attempt to fight bosses that are strong! Do quests to level up and also gold to buy Potions and Equipments.

-Just an emergency, have a potion all the time to avoid dieing and also wasting Soul Runes for revival.

-If there is need to run from enemies, dont hesitate. If low in health, go either to Blacksmith Kan or Alchemist Place

Dude, about the game intro cinematic: can you change the event to something less than 1.00? Because, in my opinion, a good cinematic intro starts immediately at something close to map init or 0.01 seconds. This is just my opinion =) Maybe use clear text messages for all players or the function ClearTextMessages before the next line of the intro text comes out; "there lived...." then clear text then the next line. Also found little grammar errors in the intro. Also when Angus notices a house, make him face the house. Also when he comes inside the house, pause a little, because no one, that I currently no of, enters a house and immediately says what Angus just said (he said a compliment). That's all for now... I have to continue playing it. Awesome game I hope it finishes!! Awesome Hell_Master!! Again the above statement (besides my compliment of you) are just my opinions.

Edit: Also, maybe add a skip cinematic trigger. =)

Here are some thoughts of mine about Alpha version, mainly what could be adjusted or taken into consideration to develop from my point of view.

1. Cinematic didn't start immediately when game started, hero and map was visible and then it jumped into cinematic mode. Try to apply it instantly for better looks.
2. Intro cinematic could use at least few custom cameras instead of default ones. Cameras with angles would add charm so needed.
3. Great Strength and Upgrade abilities have no hotkey notices.
4. Great Strength have no cooldown notice so I don't know the exact time.
5. When I entered house, I entered cinematic mode and camera was dragged through entire map and I saw it all, the dirt and etc. Apply camera instantly to avoid this camera scroll through world. You can also apply fade filter and move camera instantly when camera fully fades out. And again, house cinematic could use some custom cameras, not default ones.
6. Shouldn't all these optional quest like magic sword material gathering be at Optional Quest log and not in Main Quest? Or it is main, but looks like optional and in no way somehow concerned with evil and demons. If it is optional quest, then it has no main quests, but as I see you consider it to by main quest.
7. Add Quest Requirements for quest and complete each when certain task is done.
8. You could inform where to look for magical stones, because I have no clue where exactly.
9. Many units have their selection scale set wrongly, usually too small one, especially for the big spider or Ursa.
10. Umm, I killed Satyr, then I killed wofl and when I killed wolf, instantly appeared another satyr and when I ran off, wolf resurrected as well. It is really too small period of time for revival, I barely killed them and there they are again.
11. Environment art is okay, but I'd suggest to hide the edge of map, it is really ugly and when being approached it is like dark shadow and you can't pass it, looks not natural.
12. Do I need to acquire sapphires for the quest or magical stones? (Oh, it drops both, but it is annoying that sometimes stone drops nothing even though I had to risk my life going through many creeps and dealing with stone since I can't clean it due to too fast revival)
13. Sapphire could be a destructible instead of a unit, so it wouldn't say Neutral Passive when pointed. I also must use Attack to attack that sapphire, at doodad I could just click right mouse button.
14. It would be nice if you automatically select hero when being resurrected.
15. I still have 1 sapphire when I acquire another one, I can't carry more than 1?
16. When I returned to old man, hero was not teleported to house at start.
17. After one day there was a transmission from hero and message on screen about evil and stuff, I could read only one of these lines so another was missed.
18. After finishing sword quest, there are no more quests so I am not certain what to do and where to go. You could notice to leave house.
19. Guards kill satyrs and I get the credit for killing it.
20. Only 1 ability? Or there are more, but I can't find?
21. I am not sure if Quest is not failed, but Elf Edge got killed by satyrs, yet quest is not marked as failed.
22. I was fighting the beast and it entered cinematic mode, I died twice fighting Ents during cinematic mode. Then Beast died, but dialog kept going.
23. A dialog was something like that: *he can be powerful as God like me, a goddess*. What I want to say is that God is male and Goddess is female God.

Generally, I enjoyed music, especially WoW music, it fit so well and I felt so relaxed listening to it, plus all these dialogs about magical things, model choice and stuff just made it so warcraftish and atmospheric, it brought me good memories of WoW. It was quite short as well considering Alpha stands for 30% of project completion and map is nearly empty. But map was okay even though storyline was not really original, but it didn't lack surprises in your interpretation.

1. I will try to apply that. One user here too say that so I shortened the time but it looks like that I should apply it in Map Initialization.

2. I might, I am not good at cameras but trying is not bad so I'll do that!

3. I am very sorry for Great Srength having no cooldown and hotkeys. So that's why I have noticed I forgot something. I can release again another ALPHA 0.1a with the hotkeys.

4-5. Oh, I am also trying to find a way to avoid that and maybe I should make time 0 so it will just instantly teleport and not drag to entire map.

6-7. Magical Sword is really a Main quest. I intended to be with the story. I also have forgot to set the requirements because you can still notice that you can complete quest without sword even you drop it. I might make it more better with some requirements.

8. Oh yes, I will really do that! DO I forgot to say that in the Quest itself? if yes, I will be doing that.

9. Really, I think its fine for me..... any more details how to set them normal size? Any scaling size you can prefer?

10. Oh, so it is shor I'll try to make the Spawn longer and if you will not notice there is also a bug when you are in cinematic then a enemy spawn, the enemy is not paused and will attack you..

12. So most of all, I'll reduce the Creep Spawn time and also Spahhire has 35-55% drop chance so it is hard to drop and Magical Stone has 55-100%.

14. What do you mean by that? Automatically select hero when they are revived? Any more details about this?

15. Yes, I didnt fix that yet, Sapphire has no Item Stack yet and only the Potions and Magical Stone has it.....

18. After Magical Sword Quest you means? You go out the house and there the Old Man and he'll ask you to meet Goddess.

20. For now, there is one ability. I am yet thinking of more idea for the hero's ability. Mostly fitting and cool abilites.

21. Oh.. I will later make him invulnerable but not the other guards. Or is it better to make them invulnerable?

22. Hmmm.... I forgotto set pause units in the cinematic. Im very sorry about that... that's why I am wondering on why cinematics always overlap in this part.
