Hey guys, looks like my map is ready for BETA TESTING! Everything has been remodeled, bosses don't have their spells right now but will be implemented later on.
This a multi-player game, up to 7 players can play!
Here's the map I was making and I hope you enjoy it!

Island of Nac'ja

Story: A crew called The Lady Raylia was on its way to Booty Bay from Ratchet until a unusual hurricane formed from the distance, worried the crew set off at a different direction and apparently got lost and went off course. They ended up on a small island with massive walls stretching far across the sea. With no other choice they decided to land and rest on the island until the hurricane passes by.

Days passed waiting for the hurricane to pass but never did. They decided to make a small town on the beaches of the island, since they are surrounded by massive walls. While building their small town, a peasant was looking for some moss for medicine until he found unusual carvings behind some of the moss on the wall. He took it all off and found a massive gate hiding behind the thick layer of moss, but no way to open. He kept searching until he found a massive lever hiding behind some trees, believing that it's the lever to open the gates. . He went to his captain, in fear he told him not to open the lever until our crew gets strong enough to push back whatever lies behind the door, if there is anything behind it that is.
Now it's time for you to venture into the mysterious island and discover who made the markings.

Dervin McKill grew up in Old Town of Stormwind City. As he grew, he go interest in the holy powers that the paladins were show during their training sessions. When he became a young fine man, he learned the mastery of the holy light as a paladin but later learned not that he can heal his allies with the light he can also use the light to hurt his enemies as a defensive system. He was training as a paladin for 3 years and learned how to use his holy power to conjure a forked heal, so he can heal multiple allies in a cone with just 1 heal. Months have passed and a sudden assault in the Stormwind Harbor from the Scourge had happen. Eventually they vanquished the Scourge from the harbor. King Varian was impressed in his fighting style and decided to send him to Exodar to visit Velen where he would learn more about the light and eventually was able to convert the light into a holy bomb where he would use it on his enemies. He decided to go back to Stormwind to show Varian his new skills of holy.

As the Lich King's army invaded Quel'Thalas, the Airstriders fled from the chaos and took resident in Uldum near the Skywall, where the air elementals live. As a child growing up, Michael was very fond to an air elemental named Se'naki, and grew a very strong relationship with each other. Se'naki would teach Michael the powers of the elemental air can contain. Eventually, Michael grew up to a fine young man with mastered powers of the air elements taught by Se'naki. Time pass by and they grew apart when the Airstriders decided to go back after hearing the news of the newly rebuilt Silvermoon. On their journey, the Airstriders were ambushed by Twilight Cultist, but only Michael survived. He still continued his journey, dedicated that he will go back to Quel'Thalas to reunite with his fellow elves.

As a young furbolg, Maqu was a very spiritual boy. Instead of playing with the other furbolg children in the tribe, he would be in the spirit lodge talking to the spirits and hearing their stories about the past, As Maqu grew up, the tribe's shaman visited Maqu to start his training as a Spirit Walker, one of the greatest the furbolgs in the tribe can ever become. His training was successful, and now started off his journey with a ship crew towards the new lands of the Eastern Kingdoms.

Kevin was an alter boy in the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind City and eventually was taught the holy powers of the priest by Archbishop Benedictus. Kevin grew to be a powerful priest, learning that light can heal and damage people, he later learned that he can use his hold powers to make the ground that surrounds him heal allies standing on it. Kevin had a task to visit the priestess in Darnassus and learn about the goddess Elune, where he learned to use the moon to heal those in need. He eventually became the Archbishop of a small village near the recovering World Tree wher he uses the energies from the tree to learn more about the light of the world. Kevin was known around the northern area of Kalimdore and was sent to Moonglade in attempt to create a cure and purge Felwood from the demonic energies rising from the ground, but he fail in resulting having a dark power to make horror. Now he has to return to Stormwind City and show Archbishop Benedictus the powers of Elune the night elf priestess showed him.

Strider grew up in Ashenvale playing with the treants that occupy his village.. A styr discovered their village and attacked but a night elf rogue came out and protected them. Amazed, Strider ask the mysterious night elf rogue his name. In a calm way the rogue replied and said his name was Denl'ara, in sudden hesitant, Strider asked if he could train him to be a rogue like him. Denl'ara replied yes and they started his training. Later on in the years opening of the Dark Portal started, Strider had a mission to go to Honor Hold in Hellfire Peninsula. On his way, Strider got attacked by a group of necrolords, tore out his eyes and tried to convert him into a slave with demonic powers, they failed. The demonic powers the necrolords left in Strider converted him into a night elf demon, but didn't go insane, he was sent to Ashenvale and now has to go to Ironforge for an other mission.

As the Scourge attack Quel'Thalas, the Flarestriders fled to Blackrock Mountain, where the fire elementals live. They learned more about fire by watching them use their abilities to conjure flames form the sky and summon small volcanoes. One day, a fire elemental wandered off from the lava pits and discovered the small village from the Flarestrider clan, and set ablaze to all the buildings. In anger the Flarestriders set an attack to the fire elemntals near them but had a tragic lost, the only survivors were Inca and his sister Rose. They traveled to Stormwind City to seek refugee but was rejected. Later on, they traveled to Booty Bay hearing that the Airstriders took home in Uldum and hope they will get accepted. During the ship ride, a terrible storm brew up knocking the crew overboard, Inca got washed up on shore near Orgrimmar where his fellow "blood elves" greeted him and told him the joining of the Horde but he never found his sister, he now searches for his lost sister in the seas.

Vizel Sweetbarrow grew up as an orphan boy in the Wildhammer Stronghold located in the Hinterlands. He was taught by the Wildhammer Dwarves about the elements of Azeroth and how they are connected with the Titans. As a handsome grown panda, Vizel traveled to Kalimdore to visit the Exodar and meet the shaman Nobundo to learn more about the elements of Azeroth. He later fell in love with a female draenei named Tirna, but later got killed from an ambush of harpies in Stonetalon Mountain during her journey. After his love was lost, Vizel went into deep depression drinking brew, but later learned on how to combine his brew with elemental powers. Now he is returning to the Wildhammer Stronghold, with the warmth of his lost love, showing his family the teachings he has learned

Zul'Veron was one fo Voljin's main captains in his army. Zul'Veron was able to go the the voodoo magic darker than Zalazane every had gotten without going insane in the magic. He learned how to use dark magic to heal the wounds of his allies, He also learned on how to summon spirits that fell from Zalazane's dark magic. As the years go by Zul'Veron grew bored of waiting by Voljin's side and told him if he could go to the Eastern Kingdoms about the terrible plans that the trolls in Zul'Gurub were making. So he headed off to Ratchet to go to the boat towards Booty Bay.

Sen'dial was a very mature druid at his time, but when he lost his love to the grip of the Burning Legion, he was encouraged to get stronger to take revenge. He went to Darnassus to get train by the Arch Druid Fandral Staghelm, though the training was brutal and hard, Sen'dial was able to rank up under Fandral in the druidic powers. Sen'dial traveled to Felwood to take revenge on the demons who to his love, at the arrival of Jaedenar, he entered the burrows and slaughtered every demon in there but only to retreat for Lord Banehallow was too strong for him, When he returned to Darnassus, he told Fandral bow his loss, angered Fandral ordered Sen'dial to go to Ironforge and talk to his assistant for further training.

Gorsh Talonfang: As a Mok'Nathal, or half-orc/half-ogre race, Gorsh was taught by the strenght and power of the animal world by Rexxar. He later left his tribe in Blade's Edge Mountain in Outland to go through the Dark Portal and enter the orc city of Orgimmar. On his way through Ewlynn Forest, hidden from Alliance, Gorsh found a bear caught in a bear trapped and help her out of it. In return, the bear understood what Gorsh wanted from the toughts running in his mind, the bear helped Gorsh build a raft to he towards Kalimdore. They grew a strong relationship together, able to speak to each other in the language of bear. Eventually Gorsh named his new friend, Sasha. After the visit from Orgimmar, Gorsh and Sasha started heading back to the Eastern Kingdoms, going on a crew boat from Ratchet to Booty Bay.
Sasha: Sasha is a female bear that grew up in Ewlynn Forest, eventually got caught in a bear trap and was helped by a beastmaster named Gorsh, who she became close friends with later on.

Mark was a very well known warrior in Ironforge but never really was first in line for a war. He would use to teach new soldiers the art of war and the strength from within. He got a request to go to Theramore and train the new soldiers there to defend themselves from the wilds of Dustwallow Marsh. He later learned that his grandfather lived in the Inn at Theramore. He visited him and found out his family originated from an earthern clan hidden within Altrec Mountain, excited Mark wanted to go but his grandfather said he should learn an earthern spell that was passed down from generation to generation and now it's his turn to learn it. After the lesson, Mark head off to Ratchet, the harbor at Theramore was under construction, to head off to Booty Bay and pay for a gryphon to Southshore.

James Lichy use to be a handsome human frost mage until the day the Scourge attacked Dalaran to take the book. He died defending off the undead, and raised as an undead lich. His life was to server the Lich King now and forever, but rebellion came about when Sylvanas took ahold of Lordearon making it the capital city for the undead. James wasn't in control of the Lich King anymore, so he decideds to join the Forsaken. His life was back as it usualy was, practicing his frost spells. After a couple of years, James heard about this mage in Booty Bay that has a book of advanced frost spells. Eagerly, James caught the next boat to Booty Bay and see if this "book" is real or a fake.

Eric Armorsted was born in Goldshire before the Scourge invasion began in the northern area of the Eastern Kingdoms. He was very interested in swords when his father showed him the barracks where all the warriors train to specialize in shields and sword. Eric picked up his first sword that day. Years past and the Scourge invasion slowed down to the point where they can fix it. Soon Eric was able to sail to Kalimdor to Darnassus and recieve this special sword forged from the weaponsmoths and imbued it with the power of Elune. On his way back to the boats in the harbor, a storm brew up so all sails are canceld until the storm goes away. He decides to tak the boat to Darkshore and travel to Ratchet and take the boat to Booty Bay.

Kragna was very fond of huge blades. He would love to slice the heads off of Quilboars that inhabited the mountain side near his home in the Crossroads. He would practice everyday with the blade he made himself with the iron the blacksmith didn't have use for anymore. He was able to make it very strong and unbreakable. Soon, Kragna heard about this rare blade for auction in Booty Bay that is mouch more sharper and stronger than the blade he has now. As soon as he was about to leave, his old friend, Salf, came by to come for a visit. Kragna told him about the blade and he gladly decided to join him in the quick stop to Booty Bay.

Noroclur was the son of the Mountain Giant King in Feralas, he lived in peace and harmony to the Night Elves and Taurens that took residence in the area. Noroclur was a very loving and extremely strong giant who helped out the Night Elves and Taurens in their time of need. Days past and his father got worried about him and his new friends, he wasn't sure but it was a minor feeling during the moment. Years past and the ogres of Dire Maul threatened the mountain giants, in fear he told Noroclur to quick go to Stranglethorn Vale and speak to their cousins the Sea Giants and help them with the threat by the ogres. Noroclur was off in a journey he always wanted to do. He quickly walked to Ratchet and take the boat to Booty Bay.

Quentin Drunkbeard is a very talented gunner! When he was a littler dwarf, he would always be by his father's side hunting for animals. He would practice everyday learning how to aim correctly with the gun his father passed down to him. The gun's is named after Quentin's mother, Maria, and he takes care of it very well. Quentin took off to Ashenvale to learn how to hunt like the ways the Night Elves do, though he has a lot to learn, he is making perfect progress. After a couple of months, a messenger was sent to him telling him that his father has gotten sick! In a rush, Quentin ran to the Barrens and was able to catch the next boat to Booty Bay. From there he will go to the shaman to get a medicine the medic requested from the message then go straight to Dun Morogh.

Salf was a spirited tauren when he was little, but time passes by and he grew old. He was still strong as he was before, he blesses the Earthmother for the strenght he was able to keep since he was young. After the invasions of Quilboars slowly died down, he decided to take a stroll to the Barrens and visit an old friend of his in Crossroads. When he got there Salf was able to meet his friend Kragna, who had plans of sailing to Booty Bay and getting this rare weapon that was up in the auction by the Alliance. Pleased, Salf joined him on this quikc journey to Booty Bay to get the sword.

Sends out an ooze in a straight line dealing 200 damage to whoever is in its path. 5 second cooldown

*Mistress Rose
-Burning Passion
Rose's intense heat ignites the enemies around her dealing 30 continuous damage each second through the whole boss fight.

*Huntress Silvia
-Arrow Split
Each attack Silvia does, her arrows split dealing 100 damage up to 5 enemies.

Dinela, Guardian of Death
*Skull Volley
-Each 0.5 second, Dinela sends out giant skulls to enemies dealing 10 damage
*Raise Dark Archers
Dinela raises 50 skeletal archers that deals 1 chaos damage for up to 30 second. 60 second CD

Karina, Guardian of Doom
*Kiss of Doom
-Karina blows a kiss to an enemy dealing 500 damage and leaves a DoT that deals 50 damage per second for up to 120 seconds. 20 second CD

*Some of the trash mobs have their spells except for the Naga area
*Arena Bosses have their spells now
*Quentin's Aerial Barrage has a 1500 range now
*Quentin's had Flaming Barrage removed and gained Boom Shot

*A lot of the heroes had their spell range/radius increased
*The Hotkeys should be fixed using QWER
*Added music for BETA testing only (If people want me to put them in the finished map send me an e-mail or PM)

Update! v0.02
-lever implemented, so now you have to find it near the gates and destroy it
-increased damage for some spells for Lady Emily, Aqua Snake Sara, Mistress Rose, Huntress Silvia, Emerald Wizard
-*NEW UNIT* Deadly Vine- 20000 HP/ 200 damage
-fixed some spelling mistakes
-added more trees so it's less open space
-changed the way Mist of the Sea looked, due to minor fps drops
-Kevin's chain heal doesn't leave the holy aura anymore
-Shadow Mend, Light of Dawn and Positive Charge now heals for 7000 instead of 5000
-The Council of Nac'ja triple fight bosses now have their health at 30% due to difficulty

The more players the easier it is to down stuff faster and better to survive the amount of damage bosses give, plus units and it's possible to solo I think lol gonna take a very long time if you do then, only problem is the 2nd to last boss is that you have to fight Emily, Silvia and Rose at the same time but they only have 30% of their health when you start the fight

  • Player - Set Creeps handicap to 100.00%
Creeps in the trigger refers to nasty creature in the map (enemies of the Heroes')
Set it to either 100/90/80 or whatever the value suits
Example if there are full 7 players, set it to 100% of course (no need trigger because standard value is 100% to begin with)
If there is only 6 players, set it to either 85~90% range, to suit your needs ^_^

Yeah, it's all in the handicap. If you use creeps, then use that creep handicap, if you use player slot, then use player handicap.

If it's not really plausible to play solo, I unfortunately can't test this map since I cannot host atm. I don't know the pw to the router here, T-T

As for it taking time, my buddy and I beat Gauntlet: Dark Legacy... THOSE LAST COUPLE LEVELS TOOK HOURS. D:<

I'm also in love with the .hack games, so I can handle some time, :p

JNGP breaks those silly limits. Furthermore, if you're reaching them, you are probably overusing them.

You can scale trees larger, or intersperse them with rocks. You can even use pathing blockers and just thing out the trees a bit. Just some tips.

I'm going to write up a full list of stuff to make a detailed review of the map from the eyes of my Pandaren counterpart (Which, btw, is my favorite hero in this game, :D). So look forward to it. :)

When you place trees in the world editor, hold CTRL and his PAGEUP or PAGEDOWN to increase/decrease the size, respectively. If you wish them to get even LARGER, you have to find the model in the Object Editor, and change it's Minimum / Maximum scales to what you want. Then you can make em bigger.

That, or I just told you how to make doodads float. I don't remember, LOL

Try it without holding CTRL. I think that will work, instead. xD

EDIT: Here's my review.

Played the game version 0.02.
Played as Vizel Sweetbarrow.

LIST:

  • Typo on the exp bar. "Level 10 Elemntal Brewer" this should be 'Elemental'
  • Lightning Shield is fucking worthless.
  • Storm Earth and Fire's tooltip still says "Pandaren Brewmaster" on it. Should be "Elemental Brewer" or "Vizel Steelbarrow" shouldn't it?
  • The lever has an ungodly amount of health, o_O
  • Cinematics are WAY too fast. There is a LOT of text in each transmission that is by the first boss before and after beating her, you gotta be crazy fast at skim reading to get it all.
  • First boss does a silence, which was mildly annoying, but otherwise wasn't a huge pain in the ass (Probably since I was level 10, lol). But it looked good, :D
  • Because the cine was too fast, there was no explanation. Blindly going to Emerald led to a rough fight against an Emerald Sorceror and a Poison wisp that brought me to half health. I didn't get much farther than this, as the next Emerald Sorceror managed to finish me off.
  • The three warriors (Storm Earth and Fire) aren't scaled. Their abilities are weak. Their health is fine, and I think their damage might be okay (Didn't really check their melee damage), but their abilities are terrible, and should be scaled.
That's what my short venture came up with, :)

UPDATE! v0.03

-Storm, Earth, and Fire characters for the Elemental Brewer got new spells: Burn Baby!, EARTHQUAKE! Duplicate Lightning
-Hurl Boulder and Lightning Shield for Storm, Earth and Fire have been upgraded
-Elemental Brewer spells: Lightning Shield and Hurl Boulder have been removed and added 2 new spells Bar Fight! and Flamlightning
-Ruby Village island have been drastically changed
-Each village have towers now 20000 HP/900 damage
-*NEW UNIT* Grand Crystal Archer 35000 HP/ 1000 damage
-traps have been added in all 3 villages
~Emerald Village: Some of the caged animals break free
~Ruby Village: A lot of the spots in the village roots you and deal damage
~Crystal Village: Some spots in the village causes a volley which deals damage
-Lady Emily has a beginning event now: The Arena- Face 2 experiments and the Grand Wizard of the Emerald in order to fight Lady Emily
-There is now 4 danger spots in Huntress Silvia fight, a volley of arrows on 4 spots every 9, 10, 11 seconds dealing damage
-Elune's Gift now works properly
-Sasha's Vampiric Aura has been removed, added 3 new spells: Slam!, Roar of the Bear and Swipe

Ok I took a quick look at the map & here's a few comment...

well done, the terrain has been improved although needs a little more but its OK...

but there are 2 things that is not suited to the terrain...

1. Do not put tiles in mountains (raised areas) & water, specially the volcanic area coz its not good, put rocks instead & bligt some areas...
2. The world tree that is located beside the cliff is not good, the roots suppose to be
sitting on the ground, not on the air...

Do not spam doodads, you may exceed the limit...that's it for now, in all, keep up the good work, you're learning a lot...

I do not see in the list of changes that the Cinematic timing has been fixed. Has this been addressed, Trydene?

@Stevienicks: It's really not all that uncommon to find women around.

This stereotype reminds me of the stereotype around Cosmopolitan magazine. Yes, it's primarily aimed towards women, but there IS some very good articles for the "men's" benefit. Mostly stuff like "How to please your husband" kind of thing, but also just some interesting articles in general.

Basically, don't judge a book by it's cover. It's rude to the book.

I saw the name. I haven't tested yet, though. As I stated previously, I'll do that later. I'll need to stay awake somehow, ;)

And once again I'll write up a review for you.

You need to implement the single-player compatibility mode, cause it's a BITCH to play single-player. I could do it if I had the patience to wait out my regen, >.>

I just wish there was a regen cheat, so I could use it, regen to full, turn it off, fight again, rinse and repeat, :p

Strictly for testing purposes, I might add.

Honestly, if I really wanted to, I could go in, make a couple real simple triggers to teleport me to and from the fountain in that first boss area.

But, I'm starting to hurt real bad, so I'm just gonna try out a little bit of the map real quick before I go to bed early, so I don't have to deal with the pain...

Okay. I tested this version. Following is my review. First, however, a couple points.

  1. This is done in Single-player with PointBreak (Food), ThereIsNoSpoon (Mana), and occasional WhosYourDaddy (Timesaver) cheats
  2. This was done with two heroes by me, a healer (Kevin) and my Panda (Vizel).
Now then, here's the document:

Played the game version 0.03.
Played as Vizel Sweetbarrow.
Also Played as Kevin to make up for single-player. Cheated with infinite mana / NoFood.

LIST:

  • In Dinela's dialog, it should be "No, I'd rather not, you ugly creature" instead of "I rather not"
  • Kevin's ability "Shaodwy Scream" I'm assuming should be "Shadowy Scream"
  • Kevin's abilities Shadowy Scream and Chains of Light are generic tooltips, and don't display details. Shadowy Scream should probably say at least how long they flee, or perhaps a radius, and Chains of Light should specify the damage, and the number of jumps, I think.
  • On both heroes, and I'm going to assume this is true for most/all of them, the abilities need hotkeys, and they need to be visible. If you need help with this, let me know.
  • On Storm Earth and Fire, the Wind Walk is still not upgraded. 50 damage!
  • The new abilities added to the split warriors, and brewer are a nice touch. :)
  • The cinematic is much better, now, though could be tweaked a bit, and skipable would be lovely.
  • The "animals" that break free of their cages in emerald, the revenant stayed frozen... proves rather amusing, though kinda silly, and probably unintentional.
  • During the Lady Emily fight, the Naga Experiment bugged out, ran behind Lady Emily, and did nothing but cast cyclones. I couldn't kite it out of there, either. I used Whosyourdaddy to finish it off to move on...I didn't turn it off in time, and killed the wizard instantly, no no info from it. :(
  • Shadowy Scream's tooltip says "Causes the enemy to flee in terror" but in fact this just activates "Howl of Terror" which on the affected units: "it deals less damage for the duration" On the big ass sheep, the GIANT skulls are awesome from this ability, ^^
  • After Lady Emily teleports after beating her experiments, there should be some indication of her running away other than "NOOOO!" and disappearing.
  • The "Poison" next to Lady Emily is just evil. Nice touch.
  • After Lady Emily gives up, she has that small message, and then stands there, not fighting for ~5s or so. She's still attackable till she teleports and becomes invulnerable. I'd think with 7 people, it may be possible if done perfectly to abuse this.
  • Ruby Warder's stuns are quite harsh when you have more than one or two of them at once. Not sure if this is intended, but you get about 5 or 6 if you just attack the ancient at the start of the Ruby area, making for a VERY difficult fight for two heroes. Chain stun ftl, :(
  • Most abilities are able to affect buildings (Ruby Guardian, Emerald Tower, etc.). Of these two heroes, the only ability that affects buildings is Fire Breath.
  • Most abilities cannot target Wards. The Deadly Vines in the Ruby area are classified as wards.
  • The range on the Entangling Roots on the Deadly Vines is insane.
  • The Deadly Vines have VERY odd respawn patterns. They tend to respawn in large groups (3-12) all at once a few seconds after clearing an area. They chain-roots you and you're unable to do a damned thing.
  • Apparently Flamlightning will not harm the wards, but will still cause cooldown instead of giving an error of "Cannot cast on wards" It also spends the mana cost.
  • I lost on Mistress Rose. That multiply ability caught me completely off guard, and they raped Kevin. I could have whosyourdaddy, but without Kevin, it's kinda pointless. That's a pretty difficult fight, I give kudos. Next time I'll be ready for it. :)
  • Emerald tower range is 600. Ruby tower range is 700. The 600 on the Emerald towers seemed a little short to me.
That's the review for this. I haven't done Crystal or the last boss area since I got caught completely by surprise on Miss Rose. She killed Kevin in about three seconds flat. It was insane. Anyway, it was fun (Annoying with the little bugs). I look forward to a balanced, complete version!

-Lady Emily has a beginning event now: The Arena- Face 2 experiments and the Grand Wizard of the Emerald in order to fight Lady Emily This was quite enjoyable. The order was Naga, Wizard, GIANTSHEEP, though. Naga was quite an annoyingly fun encounter (If the bug is fixed). Sheep was painful, and enjoyable, as well.
-There is now 4 danger spots in Huntress Silvia fight, a volley of arrows on 4 spots every 9, 10, 11 seconds dealing damage N/A
-Elune's Gift now works properly Not sure what happened before, :)

The vines don't cast the roots btw, I put 55 regions on the ground that does the roots, it's actually from a banshee north from the arena from lady emily
I'll fix the ward problem, yes the chain stuns were ment to be there lol
theres actually 3 spots where vines spawn, 1 spot spawns like 9 the 2nd spawns 10 and like the last spawn 12
I like the Sheep's Rain of Sheeps lol

Gonna focus on the bugs especially with the naga lol gonna make the grand wizard not squishy just u wait ;) gonna reduce the duration for the roots to 1 second instead of 4 lol i just remade the end boss area looks way better, gonna spend atleast an hour trying to make the brewers spell Tirna's Love a little bigger soo much fun! lol not being sarcastic but its 2 AM goodnight
