My new Diablo III map is a fast RPG map with many references
to the first Diablo III Gameplay Trailer and the Blizzcon 2008 Diablo III Demo:






The map is the Prequel of my Diablo III Borderlands map. It is the first part of my Diablo III Campaign. Borderlands is the second part.

Story
Two decades have passed since the demonic lords, Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, set out across the world of Sanctuary on a vicious rampage, twisting humanity to their unholy will. Yet for those who battled the Prime Evils, the memory fades slowly.

When Deckard Cain returns to the ruins of Tristram Cathedral seeking clues to defeat new stirrings of evil, a fiery harbinger of doom falls from the heavens, striking the very ground where Diablo once entered the world. This fire from the sky reawakens ancient evils and calls the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells once again.

Very nice map, very well done, epic escenario, nice models, and mush more.
I've played with a Demon Hunter thas prety awesome! but I've found a bug in somo items names that only display the color code without name. And the shortcut of the Demon's Hunter Granade are missing, every time I tried to use it use the teleport skill.
Keep working lad, now you are one of the most popular map makers on the Hive xD with those two epics D3 maps. CONGRATULATIONS!

you should try to load the new version,he fixed the hotkey bug.

I don't know how you make it, but if your doing this alone... how much brain power does your brain have, 99%? THIS MAP IS LIKE PLAYING DIABLO! Now we don't have to bother paying Blizzard for D3 we can play this ^^

I have downloaded a patch v1.24e and both Halls Of Agony and Borderlands work now perfectly.
Man, you have made very epic mega-great D3 maps.
What I would really like to see is first Diablo game for Warcraft 3 TFT!

I realy love the look

Just one tought.
I was getting spamed with mobs (Wich is allright) But I accidentaly clicked on an enemy unit, when I didn't have an ability ready, and my hero got deselected, And I allmost died

I don't think Your hero gets deselected in Diablo III, And making a reselection triger shoodent be that hard.

To evoid the not being able to select mearcent problem with this trigger, You would make it something like this: If any player selects Unit owned by (Enemy) Player, Reselect Hero (Variable)

I have not tried this in the editor, but it shood be about right.

I didn't know about F1

But I hardly se where the player would have time to check the power of the mob
And if the mob is super powerful, i think It's noteceble from long distance.

Allso I said that the trigger should be if you select an enemy, not an ally wich will get rid of the tavern problem.

A new announcement:

The new versions of all my maps will come soon. I think this weekend I can release the final versions and the great Diablo III Project is completly finished (after the last test).

The great Diablo III Campaign Project includes the following maps:

Act I: Diablo III New Tristram v.1.04
Act II: Diablo III Borderlands v.1.07
Act III: Diablo III Halls of Agony v.1.01
Act IV: Diablo III Bastion's Keep v.1.01

The Diablo III PvP map will become new updates too in next time.

This map was already incredible but you're still improving it as well as other ones.

I play your maps solo and i have some suggestions;

1- I think you should use some generic item models for items on the ground instead of standard wc3 chest model. For example; use a generic armor model for all chest armors including wizard robes and barbarian plate armors.
2- I think helm models dont need to be shown on our hero when we equip in this kind of map. I think its unnecessary.
3- Since we cannot sell items (which we shouldn't in this kind of map), remove all unusable item drops. For example; if i play this map with a friend and we're using Demon Hunter and Barbarian, there shouldn't be any wizard robe or monk weapon drops since they are completely useless.
4- You may use standard wc3 gold model or increase the size of the one you're currently using. They are hard to notice especially when they're on carpets or under corpses.
5- Some items have a huge space in their tooltips like shortbow, and potions and runes have some minor tooltip bug on their names in inventory like {ICFFF or something (probably about color code). You may want to fix that.
6- Picked gold should be shared between all players if its not already (didnt check that yet, sorry).
7- Demon Hunter has a really wide selection range which makes selecting a nearby monster, item or barrel or anything very hard. This is a model related issue but you may still be able to fix.
8- 2500 gold for an additional revive point is a bit too much in my opinion. Also it have a tooptip error. It says "Gices one..."
9- Final boss is a bit too hard compared to the overall monsters and skeleton king.
10- Why dont you use the Barbarian model on your final act in this map too?

Worst Diablo EVER...:thumbs_down:. The texture was more than awesome, but the camera placing, shaking, swinging and... screwed it up:goblin_boom:. I even couldn't go to it's end because of the camera.

its mostly only nitpick exept for generic item models its a great idea for this godly models/skins map.

becuz its just logic that the hero get some upgrate in ther look since act 1 ?
 
This is incredible, just as the rest of your Diablo III Warcraft maps. I do believe that a save/load from the end of one map to the beginning of the next would improve them. As would having a skill tree system and inventory system. These things are not entirely needed, but they would make it better in my opinion.
Still a 5/5 anyday, best game I've ever seen!
 
Yes, but it sure would be nice to keep my items and abilities in the next area. Especially abilities. Otherwise it's just like getting to change all of your abilities for free. Plus, it would give a more complete feel if you actually kept the character you used previously, so that you felt like you were continueing the quest from the previous part. And anyone who doesn't have a load would start new at the generic level (1 for new tristram, 15 for borderlands) And anyone who's load has completed a part, such as new tristram, would be unable to load their hero on new tristram, and would need to start level 1. To keep it skill-based rather than load-based.
