very good. I'm proud to see that you are working full now instead of optimizing. Well keep up the good job.
also, the forelegs and feet look a bit cartoony/plastic compared to the rest of the body.
thnx

Lol wut. This is a warcraft 3 model based of a diablo 3 character.
It is gonna be used in wc3 so it have to look like a wc3 model most of the times otherwise it wont fit in with the rest.
how many triangles does it have? if it's less than 1,100 tris, then it's fine leave it that way. No need to make him look like those shitty wc3 models.
But maybe it would be nice to be able to choose.
Maybe you want the model to fit in with the rest?
What resolution did you use for the texture? Cause the details are very nice. 512x512 or even 1024x1024?

The detail loss, yes, but for the portrait, I will use a different texture so you do not notice too much detail loss... I hope
T.
Cant you just use the texture from the portrait on the normal unit aswell then?![]()
4 Meg for a finished textured included model ?
Is that what I'm reading ?
Then I think the texture can be bigger then 256x256

Taylor, I think that what redmarine meant is that the max B-net map-filesize was increased by 4MB, thus it is 8MB. But quite obviously, you should try and keep the filesize as low as possible.
Just place the handle to the middle (where these XYZ crosses are).
Thats where it will be holded by left hand or so.
It's nothing special.
You know how to atach weapons to units?
eeeuuh nope anywhere a good tutorial ?
T.
So how do I make this as an attachment weapon ?
Any good Tuts ?
T.
... he's skin, i mean not the texture, but the actual monks skin. It looks wierd somehow.
Taylor, I bet your model doesn't yet have attachment points. Here's a nice tutorial on how to add those.
The attachment.
I think that the monks skin looks kind of... unrealistic, it looks somehow wierd if you compare with the skin on he's head.
