Always check/recheck the Map Submission Rules! (Map Submission Rules)

These will help make a better description:

Screenshots could attract more players to download your work. Make the best of them.

A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated.

A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.

Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

To make your work run smoother, fix the so called leaks: Triggers - Memory Leaks and Custom Scripts

Hello there, this review will not only be focused on this map of yours but also to all maps that you have posted here on HIVE.

-No Altered Units, never alter units if you're making a melee map and also never place any player owned unit or building except for the "Starting Location".

-Symmetry and balance is everything when it comes to making good melee maps, always consider the placements of the creep camps and the items that the drop. Here is a table from
Competitive Melee Map
  • 1-5 Camp = Level 1 Item
  • 5-10 Camp = Level 1-2 Item
  • 10-15 Camp = Level 2-3 Item
  • 15-20 Camp = Level 3-4 Item
  • 20+ Camp = Level 4-5+ Item
-Doodad and tile variation really helps on a visuals of a map, use them to enhance the overall looks of the map but never spam them or use the in wrong places. Also using small doodad that don't interfere with pathing like flowers, mushrooms or custom ones is also a great way of making the map look great. Place your trees strategically and leave no gaps where small units could hide and spy on an enemy.

e.g: Placing large doodad in the middle of a battlefield is wrong (trust me I also made this mistake)

- Never leave neutral buildings unguarded (including expansion goldmines and starting goldmines cause the melee trigger would just remove the unit if there is a player occupying the slot) the hero tavern is an exemption.

-Use the lower or raise brush to make the terrain not look flat.

Here are some do's and don'ts from General - Melee Maps like the Professionals in making melee maps:
DO:
o Include a minimap
o Provide a description of the basic ideas incorporated in your map
o Highlight appropriate team formats for your map
o Say anything that is unique about your map which may encourage downloads
o Proof-read your submission for grammar mistakes

DON’T:
o Say it’s your first map in the hope you will receive sympathy in voting/comments
o Be ‘up yourself’ in your map - eg. Don’t say ‘Best map ever’ or something like that
o Not provide a description at all
o Highlight the bad things in your map

My suggestion for you is that you download approved melee maps and study them an also start small with 1v1 so that you could master the basic much faster.

This review is based on the current version that is uploaded, If you want me to do an another review feel free to contact me.

Well, I'm sorry you're lazy but I am not here to teach but guide. You just don't write something like that without first comparing your map to existing BlizzEnt ones. I suggest you study the game's maps and then try to mimic the style until you get your own. No, I don't meant you should upload copies of other maps.

You should really try to learn things by yourself than relying on others to spoon fed you everything. I mean it's ok to take advice and tutorials from experts but don't rely on them to do everything for you.
