Well, I've been terraining for about a year, now, and while the art of terraining has taken somewhat of a back seat in my life (things are just getting hectic over here) it still holds a deep place in my heart. I am not totally inactive, just a little slow. Now, I've decided to put all of my terrains in one place, in (what I think is) chronological order.

The following terrain (never before released) is really more of a doodle based on Orson Scott Card's Speaker for the Dead.

You really are shaping up to become a good terrainer Cobra, just keep on practising and listen to what critique you get. Their mostly looking good, but I believe I have commented on the majority of them before, so I wont go in depth now. Great work Cobra, and good luck further on.

omg when i opened up the "more reflections" i thought i was looking at a real picture... and then i saw the game view setting at the top right corner i was tricked!

Well it is a pic edit - but it is a terrain.

These terrains are pretty amazing, my favorites so far would be the reef observatory and the Mount Saint Hellens terrain (I'm pretty sure thats Mt. SH)

Well unless he made a two layer terrain above the ground and inverted the trees and placed in the exact same position with an odd water effect I'm sure he took the original terrain and photoshopped it to make it look more realistic.

Nah doesnt have to be a pic edit, actually im pretty sure its not... He just placed 2 doodads of the exact same. One over pointing uppwards and one under pointing down. It's really hard though...

Max pitch angle - ( -3.14)

u have to press shift before you type in that value in the object editor.

my fav pic is the reflections, but i really like the way those observatorys look like. veryy good terrain man

why the "reflections" - a bad picture? because there is no epic. Yes, a reflection of a beautiful, but I think we must add more decorations, tilesets and other.
